I watched an open Q&A last night of Sam Shamoun. What astounded me was how young the people were who were seeking God. One of them was only 14 years old. The other part that is intriguing is how many of these young people are walking away from the faith of their parents and joining the Catholic or Orthodox churches. They are walking away from islam, atheism and protestantism. They are seeking God by means of scripture and learning quickly. Many of them are doing it secretly for fear of their parents who they still depend on. I do not know how the clean up will happen. But for me it is obvious that the Holy Spirit is moving the youth to have fervor for scripture. This in turn leads them to witness to others in their circle of relationships. It appears to me, that something of a silent revival is taking place outside of the structure of ecclesiastical authorities. So just as the church has been infiltrated with prelates who are at best confused, there is a new infiltration of youth with a fervor for God. Youth who have a genuine command of scripture and are resistant to anything that goes against God or the true deposit of faith. Again, I am not saying this will be how the church will be cleaned up. But it is definitely noteworthy IMO, and appears to be a way that God is setting up the church for things to come.
When the persecution really starts no bad people will want to be priests or even lay people anymore. The rats will rush to leave the sinking ship I heard someone say the persecution is getting worse by the month at the moment This may well be so . I think it may be true about the young. The young seminarians and novices seem to be really Marian and wholesome. They are not stupid either. They are wise to the evil that has been going on
When I was young in Ireland priests were given so much respect they were on a constant pedestal, very high up. Bishops were like little Kings . Not so anymore.
Karen , have you listened to or read Father John Hardon SJ? His case is going forward in Rome for canonisation I wish you would write a book about him It would be such a great blessing for the Church if you did.
Your statement that the persecution is getting worse by the month makes a lot of sense to me. Not just in terms of prophecy or what we are obviously seeing around us. But also because as the gravity of collective sin grows, so will attacks by evil on that which is good. An increase in war and violence typically has a correlation with the persecution of genuine Christianity. So we can see the trajectory we are headed towards in regards to persecution of Christians by looking at current events in relation to war. The collective sin is like a fog or mist which permeates everything, those not engaging in spiritual defense are likely overwhelmed by it. It's like an increasing loop where because of the collective sin, mankind becomes blind to sin and then sins all the more. But eventually the cycle has to break because it is not sustainable indefinitely.
The apex of evil, of persecution will come and has come most from people we considered once to be our fellow Catholics. For example Joe Biden and Papa Frankie In China this is very obvious at the moment with Faithful Catholics are under attack from Bishops , clergy and lay people who are in hoc with the Chinese Communist Party supported by Papa Frankie.
Fr Hardon said that Satanists in America are pretty well run by ex priests. I mean the real Satanists. Not the let's pretend Satanists. It's the same everywhere but especially in Catholic countries. I'd bet money on it that the vast majority of these Satanic priests are homosexual and should never have been ordained in the first place
As sin increases we should see more attacks and more extreme attacks on the church. It also doesn't surprise me regarding ex-priests, because they are most assaulted by evil. We are also seeing more natural disasters which should intensify. For example, Mexico City could be without water in a few weeks without rain. This is a city of 9 million people. 22 million in the metropolitan region.
Not attacks on the Church from without so much as within. From the Papacy. Or the supposed Papacy The greatest current threat to the Catholic Church is Papa Frankie himself
If I were to guess, I would say the faithful of the Church in China are praying very very much for Francis ~ imho, they are probably taking "pray for those who persecute you" very seriously........
20:13 03/13/2013 03 20 20 13 13 13 03 20 13 3rd Book, 20th Chapter, 13th Verse Leviticus 20:13 "If any one lie with a man as with a woman, both have committed an abomination, let them be put to death: their blood be upon them." If you know you know. God is well aware.
The Duoy Rheims translation of the Bible refers to them as the effeminate. Every time tge Jews bombed to evil the effeminate were up to their neck in it. When the Jews came back to their senses and returned to God one of the first things they did was to dissappear the effeminate. What does the word dissappear mean? Well I'll leave you to guess.
Isaiah 3:1-5 For behold the sovereign the Lord of hosts shall take away from Jerusalem, and from Juda the valiant and the strong, the whole strength of bread, and the whole strength of water. The strong man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the cunning man, and the ancient. The captain over fifty, and the honourable in countenance, and the counsellor, and the architect, and the skillful in eloquent speech. And I will give children to be their princes, and the effeminate shall rule over them. And the people shall rush one upon another, and every man against his neighbour: the child shall make it tumult against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. If Jerusalem and Juda is the Catholic church, but also the west in general. This prophecy makes a lot of sense. The Holy Spirit and the Eucharist appears to leave. Effeminate will rule over everything, with man children in positions of leadership. These are chastisements from God. It also sounds like parts of Akita. Edit: Just found this juicy passage Isaiah 8:11-12 For thus saith the Lord to me: As he hath taught me, with a strong arm, that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying: Say ye not: A conspiracy: for all that this people speaketh, is a conspiracy: neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. This is absolutely speaking to our time. I feel like there should be a dedicated Isaiah thread.
