Padraig what do you think of the presence of the Franciscans if the renewal in Ireland? God bless them such a beautiful charism they follow the true path of st. Francis in poverty and missionary zeal picking the toughest area of Ireland. I would personally like to see two Franciscan orders in years the capuchins of the strict observance like st pio followed and envision and just cfrs. Most of the rest are lacking in penance and community. Must being retirement homes. The cfrs are a great presence in Ireland.

So sad I've met many in New York cfrs I was highly impressed with so many others have turned into nursing homes with 8 meals a day it should be breakfast and dinner in community and snack or snacks as needed from charity depending on schedule. I like the cfrs because they walk and meditate so much like st Francis great confessors. They fast regularly as well on 2-3 meals a day the rest you who would be horrified so many orders evens have bars I'd like to see them pull that on mt Athos haha they would be chastised. Bring back the Celtic church of penitents tertiaries priest and brothers at every state in life called to holiness. Fun fact my bloodline are a bloodline of married priest from kerry Murphy's and Sullivan's from kerry Ireland. Same line as priest valor in Gangs of New York. Why do the Anglicans get a pass when the Catholic church thrived with both in Celtic Ireland and allowed for both earlier. Follow the money trail the Anglicans have the money so they can do what they want. St Patrick tried to change this but the Latin church came down hard.

Nothing is accidental. The aim is to humiliate Ireland for its contribution to Christianity, not only to humiliate but to remove all dignity and reduce it to the level of an animal carcass. This is pure revenge...

For centuries, Ireland was a Christian country with numerous missionaries, a country devoted to the Vatican, the popes and above all to God with great love for the Virgin Mary. While many countries fell to communism and liberalism, she fought for the family, marriages and the unborn.

However, by pumping a lot of money, creating a tax haven and bribing politicians and indoctrinating the media, they hardened the hearts of many Irish people and turned them away from God through hedonism and greed. Without God there is no protection, and the human ego cannot see beyond its nose.

Within 20 years, Ireland approved divorces, abortions, lgbt marriages and got a gay prime minister...But of course that's not enough, so they sent a pure ritual of evil to the Eurovision Song Contest to proudly show how those who stood by God are doing.

Pope Benedict XVI said of Spain that it had a similar fate because of its long-term loyalty to the Pope, the spread of Christianity and the fight against communism. In Spain, around 6,000 priests and religious were killed during the civil war. They got an ultra-left government that destroys everything traditional and normal, they became the gay center of Europe.

In France, that is, in Lourdes, the Mother of God appeared and confirmed the dogma that she is the Immaculate Conception. Do you think it is a coincidence that abortion was included in the constitution there as the first western country?!! A few years ago, the Church of Notre Dame, which in translation means Our Lady, "accidentally" burned down....

These things do not happen in some countries where Christianity and Catholicism were not strong, but in those that were the center of faith. This is the Way of the Cross when Jesus was spat on, insulted, belittled, and his Mother and the few who followed him watched in horror.

This is what is happening today to once Catholic Europe, this humiliation of dignity and insulting of everything Christian. Pure revenge in the full sense of the word.

However, Jesus did not stay on the cross, nor did everything stop on Good Friday. Easter and victory over death always follow.
It will be God's last, but it is definitely hard to watch all this.

You speak truth. Your spiritual sense of history is very astute. The West is going through the Passion in its own way. And Spain and Ireland perhaps most of all. When Maximilian Kolbe saw the Masons marching through the streets of Rome he began warning Christendom and fighting with every tool in his spiritual arsenal. It reminds me of the Trojan war. Troy grew tired. They wanted peace. They wanted to believe the Greeks had really left Ilium. Cassandra cried out from the walls of Troy warning them but no one believed her. They let in the horse and threw a big party and got drunk and the rest is history.

    Romans 8:1-8
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do: by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and to deal with sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, so that the just requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For this reason the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law—indeed it cannot, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

This thing looks beyond horrible. I haven't had a chance to look into it, yet, but would like to understand where the group got their inspiration from . . . i.e. what kind of books, videos etc they've taken in.

I bet they aren't Irish but ultimately imported from sources outside Ireland . . .

Paganism and the New Age seem to me to be a massive danger to this country, though relatively few people seem to see that. I see so much attention to Islam now and while that's not to be ignored, the Paganism/New Age seems an even greater threat.

The good news is the witch did not win. They spent the week beforehand attacking the Israeli entry but Israel came in 2nd and in Ireland Israel was the 2nd most popular with public vote. I'm not enamoured with Israel war in Gaza but the General public were not in support of this satanic artist.
It was all a set up to humiliate Irish Catholicism.

If you listen to this lady's music there is certainly some kind of spell or witchcraft involved, very powerful too. But I would not be so concerned about her as the media who backed her, especially RTE. I wonder why they backed her and if they did so because they themselves are evil?

If it was a single witch that is one thing, but I wonder how far up the line this all goes?

All 4 BBC presenters on TV and radio for Eurovision were openly rainbow people. The winner also identifies in some weird fashion.

I avoided all contact with that show as it's now overtly demonic.

We (Croatia) finished second even though we were clear favorites in all bookmakers and received the most votes from the audience, but far below the jury. A non-binary person won, and there were even 6 such transgenders or whatever they are called...

I have long said that it is a deviant, decadent and perverted competition to spread dehumanization and attacks on the family in the service of a sick ideology. It used to be a beautiful competition to promote one's own culture, customs and quality music, as well as human dignity, which was hijacked and turned into a political-ideological tool.
I did not watch the Eurovision contest, nor did we watch our domestic contest. When I saw the picture of our performer, I have to admit that I judged him based on his appearance, but I hadn't even heard the song. However, the boy is a Catholic and publicly testifies to his faith. He is extremely talented, he joined us as a substitute, he wrote the song himself, designed the choreography and the stage performance. Today he was welcomed by thousands of people on the main square, I'm glad that this sick show is not coming to our Croatia, and I wish the boy all the best from the bottom of my heart.

Today, our priest spoke about gender ideology, he said that if we shepherds are silent, then the stones will shout. He repeated the same for Eurovision and said that someone with a cross around his neck cannot be the winner of that competition, but that his victory is a testimony of his faith.

    Our Performer (nicknamed Baby Lasagna)
Stated in an interview before the competition:
"I was God to myself and everything was subordinate to me. And inside? Darkness, brokenness and sadness. I would cry day after day..."
"At one point the darkness became unbearable. I called my dad who knew exactly what I needed. He took me to a priest friend for a conversation. After meeting him, the darkness slowly began to disappear, and its place was taken by happiness and a sense of fulfillment."

"I went to church and behaved as I wanted. And when I would pray, it was always subordinated to my current wishes and needs."
For the first time in church, I wanted to listen, not talk. What, God, do you want to tell me? How can you help me? And I received an answer. It was not an audio sent to my ears, but rather a feeling in my heart with which God told me: 'You are mine.' God then became a living person for me. As soon as I remember those words, I cry..."
"I lost nothing, but I gained everything. With God, I got myself back," he will say honestly.

"I stopped listening to some of my favorite bands, especially those whose iconography and songs were anti-Christian, but that happened naturally. Just like a bodybuilder who wants to go to a competition won't eat pizza. They just don't go together."
My dream has always been to make a living from music, but sometimes I'm not sure if that's God's will for me. I am inspired by the saints, their modesty and poverty, and I wonder how to reconcile the two. Then again, maybe it's really necessary to bring something that is not just sex, drugs and light notes into this mud we call music. That is the next topic I will discuss with the priest (laughter)."
As for the saints, he will especially highlight Padre Pius ("His biography was the first book I read after my conversion") and Saint Paul as role models. But he also finds inspiration in Russian classics ("Dostoevsky is strong, intelligent and full of spirit") and classical music ("Listening to Vivaldi knowing that he was a priest opens up a completely new dimension of enjoying his compositions"). In the end, therefore, we ask him on which other sources he feeds his faith.

"Every morning I read several chapters of the Bible because I consider it important to know His Word. I also listen to spiritual music, watch Chosen (I cried, I think, every episode)… in fact, I find things that comfort me everywhere. But the Eucharist means the most to me, and I definitely adore dawn masses at the time of Advent. Last year I only missed one…”
"I would like to become like the saints who wanted to die for their Lord. As St. Peter who asked to be crucified upside down. At the same time, there is a voice inside me that tells me that I am not brave enough or strong enough. But it still resonates more strongly: 'Don't be afraid.'"
