All our leaders, in practically every country across the globe, are going against the will of their respective peoples. This is not specific to Iran. Here in Ireland the regime is detested. As is the same in a myriad of other countries. I wonder who or what is making them do what they do. For they are hellbent on war and unrest.

You could argue all was "staged". Iran wanted revenge for the killing of Iranian ministers in the israeli attack on their embassy in Syria Biden warned two days ago of impending Iranian attack Iran sent 300 drones (very slow) and almost all shot down by the Americans and Israelis. Hardly any drones reached their intended targets. Israel knew of intended targets so could prepare Israel comes out good as their defence system worked effectively. America looks good as their intelligence warned and also they shot down drones Iran comes out good as they were seen to get revenge. That's one way of looking at it. Controversial I know.
Yes Bobby the elite have always played games but the only issue now is that Israel are clearly stating on media outlets that they aren't done and only starting to prepare a response ?? if they don't respond they will look weak something that that nation will refuse to do. we will know soon enough
As I reflect on all of what happened yesterday and really these past few years, I see and sense great deception , confusion, and chaos being orchestrated to sow doubt and reliance on “leaders” and unknown powers behind curtains. It feels like a big setting of the table for something to come. The antichrist to solve all the issues. I don’t pretend to know timing nor do I care too much. What I do know, it’s a trap and I pray for the grace and protection of God to keep me away from the “snare of the hunter”. And part of this trap is the chaos within the Holy Roman Catholic Church. It’s part of the plan. It’s why despite frustrations and even my disagreements at times with what I see in the Church…. I must stay in it. Why? Very simply - it’s only through thus Church that faith (through baptism) is supernaturally is gained. It’s only through thus Church, where I can be forgiven by Christ Himself in confession. And last and most important to me, it’s where I get fed with the living Word of God everyday and receive His life giving Real body and blood. Thus is what I need to remind myself of this morning. Grateful that the Spirit led me to Psalm 146: Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save. When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day all his plans come to nothing. How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them. He keeps faith for ever, gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free. Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down. Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright, but he frustrates the wicked. And grateful for this Community who prays for each other and supports one another despite the occasional dust up Peace. Happy Sunday! Christ is Risen!
Iran is toying with Israel as it is with the rest of the world. Iran is no paragon of virtue - just look at the violence they lashed their own women with for not wearing the hijab. Today's attack on Israeli military targets speaks less of its supposed restraint than of its submerged malice. Iran knows Israel won't stay down. Israel knew this was coming when they took out key Iranian leaders. It's far from over.
Yes, and I believe that they rely heavily on the prophecy about Imam Mahdi to put into practice the Islamic commandment of holy war against Jews and Christians. Some kind of leadership that will confirm that they have some chance of Victory.
