Some miracles associated with LTTW would be helpful: dancing sun, healing spring, weeping statues, etc. It would also be nice if the supposed seer revealed his/her identity

I agree with you on this, the latest messages really reminded me of MDM. There's a tone in them that just doesn't ring true as the voice of Our Lady to me.
The big difference between the two is Msgr Joseph Esseff, the spiritual advisor of locutions.org who signs off on these messages. I wonder what does he think, he signed off on all so far?

Just in terms of the poetic quality, there are certainly some very striking expressions here: the image of the shore being powerless against the waves in n.8 ('The Waves of Fatima') and the metaphor of the Good Samaritan in n. 9. 'Whatever the price, I am ready to pay the innkeeper' is an extremely memorable and original turn of phrase. I can't help wishing that we could get some more input from Msgr Esseff; given that there appear to be no external phenomena providing some objective evaluative criteria for discernment, the reader really is reliant on his judgment regarding these locutions. I suppose the one thing I would say concerning LTTW or any of the other current sets of as yet unapproved messages out there right now (Pedro Regis, Luz de Maria, Darly Chagas, Y Maria del Getsemani, Javier Viesca, Agustin del Divino Corazon, Vidente de Jaen ...) is that it's probably best not to offer a hasty dismissal of what may be the words of Heaven while the jury is still out. Better to read carefully in prayer and fasting, looking out not only for possible red flags but also for any convergences that cannot simply be explained in terms of 'copycat' writing.
you might try emailing Msgr Esseff Peter. Two members emailed him when these locutions were first published, and he responded to both. they both asked similar questions, and received 2 different responses, so they were not boilerplate type of answers. The answers were good, but did not offer a lot of information. Now that there are a lot more of these messages posted and the seer is getting a larger following, I would hope that we might get more information from Msgr Esseff, as we are putting a lot of stock in his credibility.

This unperceived darkness also exists in the structures of human society. It governs the relationship between nations and the relationships between people, especially in the most important place of all, the family. From this darkness comes every human problem and the inability to finding lasting solutions. From this darkness comes the multiplication and the complication of these problems. Every problem of mankind flows from this darkness which has now led man on this road of destruction. No human power can free him. Every human attempt only shares in this human darkness. A new light is needed, a light that has nothing in common with the darkness. When will the pure light of Fatima be released so the darkness can be overcome? Blessed are those who work for this goal. A lot would have to happen very rapidly between now and such a trip in 2014, if those locutions are indeed authentic. A lot a really bad stuff ... Or perhaps the Pope will visit the Holy Land more than once? Next year is the warm-up trip?
Well, according to a message received by Edson Glauber in May 2009 (see 'Approved Apparitions in the Amazon'), Benedict XVI's trip to Israel that year already seems to have been a warm-up ... Make of that what you will - the message didn't predict that the Pope would die, but certainly makes the Fatima-Jerusalem connection in a way that is and far from the 'official' Vatican line put out at the time by the likes of Cardinal Bertone that Fatima had been fulfilled with the assassination attempt on JP II. And it is certainly striking to see one of the central ideas of LTTW (i.e. the fulfillment of Fatima occurring in Jerusalem) prefigured in a message to a visionary connected with an approved apparition. Could be true even if LTTW ultimately turns out not to be wholly authentic, of course.

It does seem that the dynamic between the Church and the world has shifted somewhat under Pope Francis. It's like the Church has moved from constantly reacting to scandal after scandal, to acting by changing the narrative so to speak. Pope Francis sets the agenda and the secular media has to scramble to keep up. The secular world wants to keep the focus on certain hot-button social issues so as to portray the Church as intolerant and backwards. Pope Francis keeps bringing the conversation back to Jesus and conversion, knowing that true conversion is the only long term solution to the grave moral evils that plague our modern civilization. Another locution (the one titled Pope Francis) states that the important question is "can the Church’s voice again be heard in the market place?" It appears that the answer could be yes.
Whether these locutions are true or not, you /they have made some valid points. The Pope is certainly wading out, casting his net, and competing in the public square and doing so seemingly effective.

8. Holding Us Close Mary When the weather is clear, a mother allows her little children to wander and be free. When the clouds gather, she draws them closer. Is he not plotting, even now, how to change the whole world into a Middle East? Only one wall will protect you, the wall of my Immaculate Heart. How I want the whole world to seek its protection!
