I endured about 45 minutes of that video but have neither the time nor the patience to watch it to the end. Did the priest explain to that man that Jesus (the same Jesus who is scorned in the Talmud) fulfilled the covenant with the Jewish people and established a new covenant with all of mankind, this covenant entrusted to the Church He founded and instructed to go forth and baptise all nations? Did the priest explain to that man and his (presumably Catholic) audience that, according to the Bible, the Church is Israel, that Jesus is the vine and that all the baptised are grafted nto the vine and all Jews who reject the Gospel have severed themselves from the vine? Did he remind everyone present what Jesus told the Jews about people who claim Abraham for their father yet fail to do the will of His (and our) Father in Heaven? Did he tell that man that imprisoning people, especially children, without trial is State terrorism? Did he tell them that murdering innocent civilians, including Christians, and driving them out of their homes is abhorrent and should be condemned by all people with even a semblance of morality? Did the priest mention what the Bible says about the synagogue of Satan? If not, the priest has failed in his duty as a pastor and used Church property for propaganda purposes.

There should be a Nuremburg type trial to deal with the perpetrators of what is happening in Gaza. The way the world is going, there probably will be such a trial some day. When that day comes, all of us who watched and said nothing will likely be undergoing some kind of chastisement permitted by God, and the chastisement may well come at the hands of Palestinians who are in mourning now. At least there will be some justice for them if they get to see Netanyahu, Biden et al in the dock.

 

I completely understand where you are coming from. Again I do believe there is injustice’s on all sides. There is no winner here. We all lose with this debacle. But much of the Judge’s historical points are accurate. I don’t agree with his opinion on Ukraine, but he makes a pretty good argument on the evils of Hamas.

The most important difference between the Israelis and Hamas is that the Israelis ought to know better. I believe that they do know better and have chosen the path of evil, picking and choosing from Sacred Scripture to justify their evil deeds. He also paints a rosy picture about the foundation of the State of Israel, omitting anything that casts the Israelis in a bad light. I suppose that's understandable from his perspective. Hatred creates a circle of hate, but as Christians we know that it’s wrong to hate back. We are not a religion of revenge. Hamas has no excuse. None. And I tell you this as a person whose family was killed and jailed and kicked out of their own country by communists. Some of us today in America are surrounded by descendants of the families, who destroyed our lives in the old country, and have immigrated themselves here in our cities. We aren’t killing them.

I would advise anyone who is interested to download a book that is available for free on the internet, 'Jewish History, Jewish Religion', by the late Israeli Jew, Israel Shahak. Shahak himself was a very moderate Jew, notable also for his opposition to Marxism, so his views weren't simply leftist anti-establishmentism. The book was published over thirty years ago, but it accurately describes what Israel was about to become.

This war is a confrontation between two great evils, with the accompanying death of very many who are innocent of either of them. Like all wars, it is a terrible tragedy, but on a scale far exceeding most. The civilian death toll exceeds, in relative terms, that of the Ukraine war by orders of magnitude.

By Christian standards, Hamas has no excuse. By the standards of the Israeli and mostly Western warmongers, an argument could be made to excuse Hamas. I believe that Hamas are using innocent Palestinians as pawns but I can see why Palestinians would support them. The Western powers are playing a dangerous game when they use the Hamas electoral gains to justify attempted genocide. They would do well to recall that what goes around tends to come around eventually and democratically elected governments have been responsible for many unjust wars and war crimes.

When I hear people, many of them Christians, blame Egypt for not setting up a tent city in the Sinai desert and blaming Palestinians for not fleeing to Egypt, I'm reminded of one of the meditations of the Seven Sorrows Rosary: the Holy Family's flight into Egypt to escape murdering Herod. This is the season of Advent. How many Palestinian children, Christian and Muslim, many of them orphaned, are living in fear where their choice is find a way to flee to Egypt or be murdered by Herod's successor? How many of those Christian children could have hoped to visit Bethlehem at Christmas instead of being terrorised. History has taught those Palestinians that their flight into Egypt will be permanent despite Biden's empty words.

How many planes from those US aircraft carriers are expected to chase terrorists out of underground tunnels? America, the shining city on the hill, what have you become?

I live a long way from this conflict - but if my food and water and electricity supply was threatened because of some terrorists dwelling under my property, I would evict the terrorists out of an instinct to survive. This is exactly what Israel is doing to the Palestinians, killing them, taking away their private property where they were born and moving in Jews, banning them from electricity, importing and exporting food, and living literally in the cage of a "state" where they control all their borders, from the air or with countries.
Hamas is a consequence of that, if we are honest the Jews had terrorist organizations before the establishment of the state of Israel. In the time of Jesus, they attacked the Romans with terrorist attacks, in the time of British Palestine they attacked the Palestinians and the British, and whoever they needed...

They used methods like Hamas... Why, because they didn't have a state or a regular army. Terrorist organizations were later integrated into their military when it was established.

I don't see why the Americans, the English, the Jews or any other nation should have the right to exist, but not the Palestinians. In their powerlessness, they resort to those whom they think can free them from this concentration state. No one likes to be the slave that they are right now. Yes, when you take away a man's freedom and reduce him to the level of an animal, he starts behaving like an animal because he has nothing to lose except his life, which in such conditions has no value.

The communists killed over half a million people, in my town on Christmas the Chetniks killed a priest, impaled him and roasted him on a spit, and brought him to a church full of Catholics. Later they killed everyone they found in the place by tying wire around their hands and shooting them in the head and throwing them into pits...
There are a lot of testimonies and "repentants" from the communists when they slaughtered tens of thousands of people mercilessly after the war.

What do you think we don't think it's monstrous, sick??? But revenge is never the solution, killing innocent or disarmed people is still murder and you become like them. Revenge will not fulfill you, if revenge is the solution, then Jesus would be the first to call for revenge after the murder of John the Baptist.
Only those who have never experienced war can talk about war and revenge as a solution.

Today, people walk among those who killed, raped, and many are still waiting for justice, seeing this injustice all around them. We have weapons, but we don't kill and we don't give back in equal measure.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. According to the British, David Ben-Gurion was a terrorist because he carried out terrorist acts, killing civilians. The Israelis named an airport in his honour. The Zionist judge in the video you posted conveniently omitted to mention that fact. He also failed to mention that the British said they had no mandate to set up any State in Palestine and that the British abstained at the UN vote.

The Israelis practice State terrorism and get away with it because the US supports them unconditionally. State terrorism is the worst kind of terrorism. The US could put a stop to it and the fact that they won't tells you all you need to know about who controls America.
