I bet Bishop Schneider will be next. If all these bishops comply to Vatican with the narrative of false obedience then there will be no good bishops run the diocese . That's what the evil wants, because they can change the consecration. The greatest miracle who sustain this world from collapsing. Lord Jesus have mercy on us and the whole world .

A big part of why the Holocaust happened in Germany during the Second World War was false obedience to a false and wicked Government.

Compliance and obedience to Great Evil is itself a Great Evil.

The temptation is always to take the safer course. Speaking out appears such a risk. Better it seems to keep the head down and go along with things. Hope for the best.

I will pray for courage for myself. Bishop Strickland is a saint. He is asking us to pray for Pope Francis for his conversion probably. That's hard but I will try

Yes, and here's the thing: He most probably is NOT the Pope.

It was good to give him the benefit of the doubt for as long as possible till the smoke cleared a little.

Giving him enough rope to hang himself.

But it is perfectly clear how and will become all the more so as time rolls by.

Fr Ripperger - we get the leaders we deserve. We all need to become more holy in order for things to change.

I see your difficulty. It completely goes against the grain for a Catholic to speak ill of a pope, of all people. However, we live in extraordinary times. Unique times, it is beginning to appear.

Your example of St Peter is not relevant. His failures were not deliberately intellectual, but born of his human fear, his courage not being sufficient to match his intention. St Peter later rather sheepishly repented and did not try to defend or justify his failures. In the end, he compensated for them with his martyrdom. All popes are human and can fail because of fear or simple error, except in those exceptional cases where they possess the charism of Infallibility. Many popes over the centuries were great sinners. However, Papa Bergoglio seems to be the first pope who is obstinately, repeatedly, systematically, deliberately and with his intellect attempting to subvert the Natural Law of God and the doctrine of the Church, even that which has come from the mouth of Christ Himself. Am I to obey Bergoglio and accept that it is right for adulters to simultaneously continue having sex with their concubines and receive the Eucharist? Am I to accept that I should consider it appropriate to worship Pachamama (to demonstrate its ubiquity, this name comes up in my spelling corrector)? Should I blindly accept that a man hung like a horse (or even a rabbit, excuse my vulgarity) be blessed as a godmother? Just because Pope Bergoglio says it is so? There is no rational reason to accept, as seems suggested by increasing multitudes of evidence, that a pope cannot be wicked and I know of no Revelation that assures us that we will not have such a pope. Revelation, in the words of St Paul, does advise us not to accept anything that contradicts the Gospel, even if it come from the mouth of an 'Angel of Heaven'-and he, significantly I think, did not say an 'angel of hell'.

May Christ help us in these times of deception.

    Good points.

I believe the forces of darkness should have prevailed and elected this man right there in 2005.

The stage was set, everything was in place.

The total destruction of faith and of the church and her total alignment with the world was to begin right there and then.

But somehow their plan was thwarted.

    What happened?

I think there was a major, and I mean MAJOR intervention from heaven and we were given an EXTENSION OF MERCY.

The Katechon was kept in place for a while longer.

But eventually it was to be removed and the rest is history.

So true. We get the leaders we deserve, whether political or religious.

And regardless of whether they’ve been democratically elected or not.

This is stated in the Bible multiple times.

I have thought of this more than once Blizzard. So like the Israelites. One last gift of mercy. But did we change? Did we put on sackcloth cloth an ashes and repent? Not in any great number. In fact our recent elections indicate an even deeper hardening of hearts.

Wow. Fascinating. What a profound insight.

Like us the Israelites squandered their gift of mercy by carrying out genocide and ethnic cleansing against the poor Palestinians.

I live in Brazil, and at that time there was not such a large spread of materials on the internet about the traditional doctrine of the Church and the content of the third secret (which warned about the current apostasy). I can honestly say that it was fundamental for my salvation and that of thousands of Catholics that Jorge Mario Bergoglio was only elected in 2013.

I'm curious, when you prayerfully consider it, how you think Mary would act and what she would say if we could ask her what she thinks of Pope Francis removing Bishop Strickland.

Padraig, I have to warn you on this. You have made a horrific accusation here and should be so very careful for the sake of your soul and others on this forum who take what you say very seriously.

If Pope Francis orders me to sin, then I absolutely will not. If he tells me I should do something that is completely outside his authority, then I will pray and discern it for myself. Beyond that, I will respect him for Who He represents. I am NOT qualified to declare him not a pope. And neither is anyone else here. You used to be adamant about this too.

Something sinister has taken hold of a great many Catholics. This notion of the devil using obedience to the Church to achieve evil is incredibly dangerous and has led many astray. It's exactly how the devil is getting people through Pope Francis. Be gentle as doves but wise as serpents. Don't look at all this through the wrong lens and get tricked! The devil cannot win through obedience and humility. He cannot comprehend these virtues, hates them with a passion, and is powerless against them.

You cannot equate obedience and respect to the Holy Father with obedience to Hitler! Hitler was ordering people to commit heinous acts. He was ordering sin. And people were obeying and doing terrible things out of fear. This is a horrible comparison and bordering on blasphemy since the Holy Father represents Christ Himself!

I am deeply troubled with this. You think it's fine because you don't believe Pope Francis is pope. You know for absolute certain? Are you willing to bet your soul and those of countless others who respect you on this?
