Who was Fr. Malachi Martin? At a young age he spoke 7 or 8 languages which is why he had to translete the Third Secret of Fatime and knew what it was. He was involved in translating the dead sea scrolls. He was the personal secretary for Cardinal Augustin Bea who was a Jewish convert cardinal of Paris and the personal confessor of 2, maybe 3 popes. He was on the fast-track on becoming a bishop/cardinal if he just shut his mouth like EVERYBODY else did. Quiet about what? He wrote a book on the Jesuits, how they went into apostasy. A book Keys of The Blood where he named names of apostate cardinals. Don't think there were any? All in all I don't know how many books he wrote. Thanks Lumena, I forgot about Fr. Vincent O'Keefe, Game, set, match! What other catholic anybody's warned us at anytime in the last 25 years about satanic covens amongst priests, apostasy, pedophilia. Not even Pope John Paul 2,who we gave detailed documents to his secretary Msgr. Dybitsh(?) now cardinal of Krakow but as far as we know, did nothing. Fr. Enrique Rueda of Puerto Rico wrote about homosexuality in the priesthood in his book but NO ONE else. Of all of the Blessed Mother's apparitions and as far as I know, nothing about the 10's-100's of thousands of kids raped by our priests. Oh, Bella Dodd did try to warn us. Maybe Pope John Paul 1 was going to do something, but as far as I know, the only priests sounding the alarm were Fr's Martin primarily and Fiore and Kunz. And yes, Bernard Jantzen probaly knew him best, thanks Lumena. But that doesn't mean I know anything about his personal life.
I would have loved to have met and talked with him. What a strange interesting life he led. I wonder if in this life any of us will ever really have known what went on? But I would say he was a very good, holy man who very much loved his Church. Its always easy to just go along with the tide, especially in a large Institution, its not so easy to go against the tide and make your voice heard. Fr Malachi seems to have had that courage. But personally its his writing on Satan that fascinate, he was very learned and experienced about all this and gives deep, deep insights.
Also, the third secret of Fatima may have been a warning to us, had it been released back in 1960, as it should have been. I do not know, but it may have prophesied the clergy Scandal. "...for the Virgin could not have come to Fatima without saying one word about the debacle we are now witnessing." - Christopher Ferrara Pope Benedict has alluded as much, too, in his inflight interview with Fr Lombardi: Father Lombardi: Your Holiness, what meaning do the Fatima apparitions have for us today? ... Is it possible, to your mind, to include in that vision the sufferings of the Church today for the sins involving the sexual abuse of minors? Holy Father: ... As for the new things which we can find in this message today, there is also the fact that attacks on the Pope and the Church come not only from without, but the sufferings of the Church come precisely from within the Church, from the sin existing within the Church. This too is something that we have always known, but today we are seeing it in a really terrifying way: that the greatest persecution of the Church comes not from her enemies without, but arises from sin within the Church.
Like Padraig says, at the end of the day, we shall be judged by our love. At the end of the day, all we have are what appears to the world as a string with beads, "worry beads" as one masonic son friend puts it. But as Fr. Charlie Becker says, this is our most powerful weapon. Adoration and the rosary are our weapons and our strenghth and our shield and our road to victory!
Akita Warning “The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God." True, it does not mention the specifics but it can be applied to the situation in some ways. It's as if there is an anti-church within the Church and the anti-church has become the dominant force, decimating everything in it's wake. Then there was the organisation "Roman Catholic Faithful" who did many years of painstaking work in the 1990's and up to 2010, which at first seemed to get them nowhere but which eventually resulted in Empires falling. I do not know what has happened to them now, do you?
Yes, Padraig, I found it sickening. You can read a rather thoughtful response to it here from Dr Michael de Pietro: http://catholicxray.com/evidence-free-catholicism-fr-robert-baron-and-fr-andrew-greely/
I was a member of RCF from its inception. I believe when these three priests died and Steve Brady was hit by a car on his motorcycle (very suspicious) and left to die he decided to fold up shop.
I was thinking and praying about this and I think ..well...it's so very hard to see into another persons mind and heart and to untangle motives and reasons. But Fr Barron's response to his is clearly illogical and incoherant. ..and I think the reason why this is so is because he is regarding his friend Fr Greeley with his heart rather than with his head. That it is a jumbled emotional outpouring rather than a balanced objective response. I had a friend whom I loved very much who died a few years back. He was a very small inoffensive man, loved I would say by pretty well everyone who knew him. When my sisters husband died at the young age of 32 he became a grandfather to my nephews and nieces. But he never ever really practiced his faith in any way at all, though I kept pushing him gently as much as I could. As for the ten commandments he not so much broke them as never ever paid any attention to them whatsoever. But a few months before he died may up to a year, I sensed a kind of change in him. A kind of darkness surrounded him he was not the same person he used to be. My own feeling on meeting him ,which I did occasionally was that the devil was pursuing him knowing that time was short and that my friend knew this too. More than this my own sad certainty was that the devil was winning and that although my friend knew death was just around the corner he was not changing ,at least not changing towards the light but towards the dark. In some sense I believe this last period of our life is the summation of all that has gone before, the final reckoning, so to speak. Just as my friend had been travelling away from the light for most of his life the final account was being reckoned and that was that he would stay in Eternal Dark. Well when he died I found him and he had been lying dead for a few days of a massive heart attack with a rictus of sheer terror and pain on his face. I have been assured by the police and others that this rictus of horror on his face is quite normal on the face of those who die in agony. Maybe so, but I don't really believe in this case this was the cause. I have found that after death with my family I have been visited by them from heaven, sometimes from purgatory. Even in cases of friends and aquaintances I have had a certain..well assurance. But in my friends case my own personal assurance is that...well he neither reached heaven nor purgatory. But as for Fr Barron it takes certain clarity a certain inner spiritual assurance to see dead friends clearly and I think this why his thoughts on Fr Greeley are so confused and illogical, the eyes of the heart winning out over the prayerful eyes of the soul. It is wrong, he could do better , but it is just so very, very human. But as to the link given and the commentary. It is always good to remember that we will each of us be sent to hell just as readily, if we come from the Conservative Right and support injustice towards the poor as we will if we come from the Socialist Left and support the murder or unborn children. God is not a Party animal.
But as to the link given and the commentary. It is always good to remember that we will each of us be sent to hell just as readily, if we come from the Conservative Right and support injustice towards the poor as we will if we come from the Socialist Left and support the murder or unborn children. So true Padraig, a lesson I am still learning and hope to achieve.
I lived in America for some years and I cannot say I was attracted to either of the 2 main political parties, but I would be one who others would describe as "conservative", yet that doesn't necessarily mean I support injustice towards the poor. What I mean is that the two don't necessarily go hand in hand, (unless you are referring to Partisan planks?) In my own country, I have usually found that it is almost impossible to vote, given that both of the main parties sold out a long time ago and that it is difficult, as a result, to "choose life." Yet the alternative to choosing life is our own demise. I guess what I am saying is that being conservative in one's political views does not necessarily make one a person who supports injustice to the poor.
Thank you, I did not know that - I had read that his son had been killed in a car accident - was his son's accident considered suspicious also? I also remember reading that there had been a high ranking detective who had been working on these ritualistic sexual abuse of minors cases in Chicago and had suddenly been told he was being given early retirement. Do you know who that was? In fact, I think there may have been 2 that were relieved of their duties and put out to pasture, but they had already gained a great deal of insight in to what was going on. At least one of them had continued to devote himself to the cause of exposing the perpetrators but he was always in fear of his life.
“Comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable” wow for me what a truly John the Baptist inspiring moment. The world could do with a few John the Baptist's right now..
Forced redistribution of wealth by the liberal progressives is not helping the poor. It is done to keep them dumb and dependent on government for their handouts. Conservatives are not against the poor, to the contrary they look to social justice as taking place on the lowest levels, ie; churches, neighbors, communities and not big government entitlements. Once a person is dependent on government, they loose their freedom. Just ask those in communistic countries. The main problem with capitalism is that it gets to many at the top greedy. Big corporations get corrupt, because of cronyism. But that happens in both parties, although the democrats have pinned it only on the republican party.
After studying the research on your President's background, it would appear that American democracy has been the victim of a bloodless coup and that the Communists have got their man in your Oval Office. A Trojan horse, so to speak, they have won your country by stealth.
Hi Lumena, I think the Bush's were as bad and paved the way for Obama (can you say Skull and Bones). The first detective who was on the Pellegrini murder case originally had a hit put out on him by the diocese. He took early retirement as explained in Windswept House. His son and aother PI worked for our group. A third investigator, an inspector Mcweeney (?), catholic ,who had lost his faith was with unsolved murders for the state of illinois, Dick Devine's office, and when he went investigating and was on verge of breaking the case also was given early retirement. I have NO respect for Richard M Daley, He supplird us with some fascinating info as well as other cops and in the case of Bernadin,a nurse. It is an unbelievable tangled web. When Cardinal George was appointed Fr. John Hardon, who started our group RCF, said he did NOT have a girlfriend or boyfriend so on this, kudos for Cardinal Francis George.
