Both sad and frustrating. The young priest was likely indoctrinated by the woke crowd wherever he was educated, this gobbledygook climate talk sounds exactly like something my son would say. Their minds are closed to reason, and I've come to the conclusion that only God has the ability to knock some sense into them.
The young priest was from Indonesia. There are two of them. It suddenly hit me why they were brought to Ireland all the way from there. They think the right way for the people who brought them. If they had not thought the right way they would never have boarded the plane. One of these young priests was the one who looked scared when he was talking to me in confession the other day. Perhaps his conscience is troubling him. It should. None of this has really anything to do with Religion, it's all just about Church Politics and forwarding an agenda. It's all rotten really. These awful people are in control at the moment. But it won't always be so. They look like they are winning; but that won't always be so either. Pride comes before a Fall and they are due a big, big, big fall. May it come soon so I can see it.
The real colonialism is European churchmen, of apparently little faith, brainwashing young priests from these developing countries. Anyway, are they not more needed in their own countries instead of being brought to provide priests for societies that can't be bothered to provide their own?
It goes back to the question of why exactly we are getting no vocations and on the rare occasions we do get them they never stay in the seminaries? I suppose it is a little like our own Spiritual Life when we are addicted or tied into areas of darkness and sin. In order to overcome these things we must prayer for the Holy Spirit to show us light on these things so that we might be convicted of sin and then show us how to overcome them with his grace. But these things involve pain, even great pain and sacrifice. Hard work. But God cannot bless that which is evil. Vocations are a very great blessing. How can God bless a Religious Order, Diocese or Seminary which s full of of controlled, say, by Sodomites or Paedophiles? He cannot. Bringing young priests from round the World to fill the gap is not the answer. We are only bringing these poor young men into very bad, even evil situations. But the answer is simple. Prayer and most especially the Rosary. I have been praying to Our Lady for a little sign . A little Sign but a seemingly impossible one. That she may grant that the priest at Mass this morning, at the last day of the Novena in her Hour may preach a Sermon about her. A little Miracle in fact.
Of those who leave seminaries, goodness knows what they're teaching (or worse) in them. The best thing might be to run out as quick as your feet can carry you. Only a very strong man can become a good priest in the West, at present.
Ninth and Final Day of Novena. My heart dropped a little when a young Presbyterian Minister got up to give a Homily. I had been hoping for a little sign on a homily on the Mother of God. THis hope seemed to doomed to failure. But the Pastor gave his talk on..Mary! My jaw dropped a little. Our Lady is so good. The very first time on my life I heard a Protestant Minister preach on Our Lady. Thank you Mary,so very, very much. It was a good talk too on Mary at Pentecost.
Strange and interesting to hear a Protestant Minister preaching on Our Lady. He accused we Catholics of having, 'kidnapped', her from them. This made me smile a little. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestant_views_on_Mary The honor given to the mother of God has been rooted so deeply into the hearts of men that no one wants to hear any opposition to this celebration... We also grant that she should be honored, since we, according to Saint Paul's words [Romans 12] are indebted to show honor one to another for the sake of the One who dwells in us, Jesus Christ. Therefore we have an obligation to honor Mary. But be careful to give her honor that is fitting. Unfortunately, I worry that we give her all too high an honor for she is accorded much more esteem than she should be given or than she accounted to herself.[1] Martin Luther. It seems to me impossible that we should obtain the reward of Heaven without the help of Mary. There is no sex or age, no rank or position, of anyone in the whole human race, which has no need to call for the help of the Holy Virgin."[2] John Wycliffe I do not doubt that there has been some ignorance in their having reproved this mode of speech, — that the Virgin Mary is the Mother of God … I cannot dissemble that it is found to be a bad practice ordinarily to adopt this title in speaking of this Virgin: and, for my part, I cannot consider such language as good, proper, or suitable… for to say, the Mother of God for the Virgin Mary, can only serve to harden the ignorant in their superstitions. John Calvin
History might say otherwise, but they're welcome to share her with us, however it comes about. I think they only used Our Lady as an excuse to drive a wedge between us. It's a little cheeky, but I'd give him a pass, of a Protestant minister of these islands accusing Catholicism of being in any way the "aggressor".
Our Lady is the Mother of Christ. Christ is God. Therefore Our Lady has to be the Mother of God. That is also why she is uniquely Virgin and Mother, simultaneously. It was Calvin who was the ignorant one, hardened in his superstitions.
John Wesley (founder of Methodism) believed in the perpetual virginity of Our Lady; unfortunately, today this belief is rare in the vast world of Protestantism.
Countdown to the Kingdom has a new prophesy from Luz. It looks very bad for Ireland. The way the swords are rattling over NATO I’m not surprised. We have three new Hispanic Priests, they are very Holy.
Yes I saw that prophecy from Luz De Maria on an earthquake that affects Scotland and Ireland. We are not in control of our country. Outside forces are deciding everything. We have a puppet government. Since the people of this country accepted gay 'marriage' and abortion the reins have been handed to the evil one and his minions. Actions have consequences and we are reaping them.
I am not convinced she is genuine but I am largely sceptical of many of the seers on countdown. Luz may not know that the UK is not an earthquake zone because it does not lie on the edge of a tectonic plate. So I cannot see an earthquake destroy Glasgow or Aberdeen that is impossible (unless by direct intervention of God). According to geologists 6.5 is the maximum earthquake impact that is physically possible in the UK - not a threat to human life (even 3.5 is extremely rare). Interesting I am going to Glasgow later today for the weekend to meet up with my brother and going to a concert. I hope there is not a whole lot of shaking going on there (tongue firmly in cheek). God Bless Glasgow.
When Ireland voted yes to abortion (typing that still makes me shudder) what came to my mind was, now Ireland will reap the whirlwind. Hosea 8:7: "For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind"
