Even though US is my country and my family has a noble history fighting for her I have to agree with you. I look on in horror. I suppose that's how many Germans felt when Hitler seized power. The scary thing though is the apathy. People around me look blank at me if I bring up the corruption. Its the frog being gradually boiled to death. They don't even realize what is happening.
I've been to America many times. First as a child when I spent the summer of 83 in Chicago and 'climbed' the then tallest building in the world, the sears tower. Then as a student in 94, 95. Where I spent those summers working on the jersey shore. I saw the true, proper, glorious America. The one from the TV and from the movies. I've since visited new York and Florida a few times. Absolutely love THAT America. But that America, like vanishing Ireland, is gone. Or at least vanishing too. America has been attacked from within. Largely taken over and consumed by the elites. Who use its power to destroy not only other nations --- but its own people as well. Such a great travesty. I hope the great American people will take her back. Till then, unfortunately I have to agree, America is the greater evil, the aggressor. It pains me greatly to see it happening to such a great people. But like the rest of the nation's, America has fallen to communist leaders/the deep state/elites/evil leaders.
We all remember the devilish horrors of Nazi Germany...the Holocaust, the gruesome experiments by Doctor Mengele and similar monsters. Yet, Western society, and not just that of the United States, has adopted an even greater holocaust, that of the unborn, and now we see the advent of gruesome medical experiments under the guise of transexualism, not to mention chilling experiments in genetics such as the recent child born with DNA from three people. We have, to a great degree, become what Nazi Germany was. Perhaps worse. The United States has taken upon itself the duty of spreading and enforcing this ideology, everywhere. It is somewhat heartening that many developing countries are beginning to realise what is happening and are beginning to reject it. They are mostly turning towards the Chinese sphere of influence. I frankly find it hard not to see this as a sensible decision, even though it's the equivalent of hopping out of the fire back into the frying pan.
Yes. All true. What I wonder about tho is how all of the world's leaders, including those of the BRIC nations, are trotting a similar path. I'd like to think someone, somewhere is a good and just leader. Alas however, when I look around and see China and Russia, the 2 other great players who make up the 3 global superpowers; I see that they are introducing/have introduced a digital currency. And I wonder if they're all in all it together? If so, then the stage is set for antichrist to 'broker a peace' between the protagonists of this (fake) war; with promises of lasting harmony, brotherhood of nations, a secure food-supply, etc. etc. And, crucially, with all these digital currencies being used by the differing countries, the uniting of these currencies, as part of his peaceful ideals: to form 'a one world currency'. Now would be a good time to advise me that I'm going mad and that I need to calm down and get off. Thankyou.

Yes truly. As Tolkien would say we have " fallen in to shadow". You describe the country i grew up in--full of good and honest people--people of faith and integrity. But the infiltration has been so balefu land effective that we are turning into a captured operation. And few around me see it it or believe it or even care. Just the devout Catholics I know. They see it and have all increased their prayers but its rolling on relentlessly toward destruction of everything good and wholesome and true. We are reaping the evil fruit from the evil tree of rebellion. Contraception abortion euthanasia pornography and every kind of sexual perversion and now mutilating children on the altar of transsexual affirmation. God have mercy on us all. Unless Our Lady comes soon we are on the cusp of destroying ourselves.

We have received sad news today. My son, Christopher had a bad fall while carrying his 1-yr-old, George. Both are hurting. Our close friends, Tom and Sue have suddenly had health issues flair up in the middle of a trip to visit family. Please pray. To trust in the Lord no matter the situation can be so challenging at times. But the Love of God, in the end, never fails. Hope ever endures. Below, v.14 is the anguish, but v.15 is the truth! Isaiah 49:14 “...The Lord has forsaken me, my Lord has forgotten me.” 15 “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? The fact that this thread has gone so quiet is in itself a comment on the fate of the Ukrainian 'Spring Offensive'... From what I can gather, the casualty rate on the Ukrainian side continues to be appalling, with allegations of forced conscripts thrown into the battle without any training and a consequent very short life-expectancy. The casualty rate seems to be at least 10 Ukrainians to the 1 Russian, despite all the lies to the diametrical contrary. All the weaponry famously given to the Ukraine at the beginning of the year has been wiped out. The Russian war machine is apparently producing weapons faster than all the NATO countries combined. And this production gap continues to widen. Zelensky wants F-16's-I've read that one of the reasons for reluctance to grant his request is that the F-16 (in production since 1978) might not be able to cope with the Russian Su-35. The lies we have been fed on the course of this war have been gargantuan. But, no amount of lies and wishful thinking can win this war. Indeed, we must be very near the point when continuing this deception (a sure sign of the lies is the lack of information emanating from the Ukraine such as reveals so much happening in France in only a few days) will become impossible. What are Biden and his cronies going to do? There's an election coming next year. The Ukraine isn't going to last that long. Biden, whoever he's a front for, can't admit he's a liar or a complete idiot. The options are narrowing, but these people will cling to power at any cost. We might be about to enter into the most dangerous phase of this conflict.
