Don't try to test our Blessed Mother ! Two couples approached Conchita and gave her four wedding rings, so that in her next ecstasy she would give them to be kissed by the Virgin. As Conchita offered the rings to Our Lady, she was heard to say: "You don't want to kiss them? But I don't understand. Ah! So I have to tell them to straighten out their lives and be good?" After the ecstasy, Conchita returned the rings to the man who had given them to her and told him and his companions what the Virgin had said. He was very embarrassed and said, "We came here to prove Garabandal was false if the girls gave us back the rings on our fingers, because none of us are married and we only bought the rings for this occasion." A member asked: "Did Mary play with the girls ?" YES, "Hide and Seek" ! Jacinta’s husband stated that he asked Jacinta how this was done, playing with an apparition. She explained that one or two of the girls would hide, and the Blessed Mother would lead the remaining girls to where the other girls were hiding. “That night the Virgin stayed with us from 9 at night until 7 in the morning. Conchita receives the Veil of Padre Pio “ Conchita speaks of Padre Pio” " Needles " magazine. Spring 1975, page 13 Needles : It is reported that one of the Veils which covered PadrePio’s face while he was laid out in his casket was given to you. Will you tell us the circumstances of this incident? Conchita: “ Yes. It was in October of 1968. One night I received a telegram asking me to come to Lourdes to pick up a letter from Padre Pio. The telegram was signed by Father Pelligrino. Father Combe from France, was in the village at this time, and I asked him if he would take me and my mother to Lourdes. We left the same night that the telegram arrived, and I even forgot my passport. When we came to the customs, it was about 3 o’clock in the morning, and they let me pass even though I had no passport or any sort of documentation. I told them I would be in Lourdes only for a few hours, and they let me go through. While I was there, Father Pelligrino gave me a letter from Padre Pio and a piece of the veil which covered Father Pio’s face in his casket. With these, Father Pelligrino told me “Before Father Pio died, he gave me a message for you and he told me “ When I die, the veil which will cover my face is to be given to Conchita”. Then Father Pelligrino told me that he did not believe in the apparitions until Father Pio said this. I said to Father Pelligrino “ How is it that the Virgin told me that Father Pio is supposed to seethe Miracle, and he has died ? Father Pelligrino said to me “He saw the Miracle before he died” He said that Father Pio had told him that. I stayed in Lourdes only two hours. When I returned home I started to write the whole story to Elisa Bayor. I had the veil in front of me as I was writing, when suddenly the whole room became filled with a fragrance. I had heard of the fragrances of Father Pio but never paid much attention. The room smelled of perfume so strong that I started to cry. It was the first time I had experienced this. All this happened after he was dead.”

we know that conchita knows the exact date of the miracle. this day coincides with the commemoration of a young martyr of the holy Eucharist. glenn, did the holy virgin conchita say the name of this saint? i once read an article that conchita knows which saint this is. if so, did the virgin reveal this to her?
The Virgen told Conchita the exact date of "The Miracle" and Conchita located the date in the calendar set in the kitchen of her house. This is how Conchita found out the name of the Holy Martyr related to the Eucharist. Conchita told Father Luna, "is a saint with a very rare name."
I will quote you below Glenn to make it clear that when dealing with prophecy, one has to be careful making statements about how small details MUST happen a certain way, such as an "even year", or the "same year"... This in no way is a challenge to your knowledge or dedication to Garabandal. I simply want to make sure others are not putting off coverting because they think they have more time than they might... From Glenn: "There is some “fluidity” in prophecy also – God can alter prophecy. Moses was promised and appointed to take his people into the Promised Land, but we read in Numbers (20:1-12) that Moses did not enter the Promised Land because of his sin at the waters of Meribah, which took place during the last year of the Israelites' wandering in the wilderness. In Genesis 18:20, the Lord said: “The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is multiplied, and their sin is become exceedingly grievous.” (The Lord intends to destroy it.) But Abraham “changes” God’s mind to destroy the faithless people of Sodom for the sake of only ten righteous people. The reason for the prophesy is to convert us and change the course of human events for the better...not to give us a crystal ball.
THE ROSARY AND PRAYER Fr. Joseph Pelletier : “ The most important and timely part of the message, a thing not immediately apparent, is its insistence on prayer and prayer well said. There is stress on both of these things: prayers and proper praying. Our lady came some 2,000 times to Garabandal and each time she told the girls to say the rosary. She made them recite the rosary during the various apparitions and recite it more than once during some of her longer visits. The girls said the Rosary in ecstasy as they walked the village streets, entered the homes of the sick, visited the cemetery and walked around the church. Our lady was telling us to pray always, not only on Sundays, or in the morning and in the evening, but all day long as we walk and work. but our Lady's prime concern was with the quality of our prayer. She taught the girls to say all their prayers, and not only the Rosary, slowly and thoughtfully. Girls, no pain while in ecstasy ! The “Commission “ doctors ,in trying to discredit the girls claim of being in the presence of our Lady (while in ecstasy ) , put the girls through a number of seemly torturous tests,yet they were unharmed . For example , when pinching and poking the girls got no reaction, they resorted to sticking them with pins and needles, trying to see if a lighted match would burn them, throwing sand in their eyes ,to try and make them blink or react. Flashing camera bulbs in their eyes to try and make them blink, or trying to pick them up and drop them on their knees, but 2 men couldn’t pick them up. These events only convinced the onlookers and the Doctors. “At the beginning, the doctors and the priests made numerous experiments to test if the children were really in ecstasy; if, for example, they were sensitive to pain: burnings, pin pricks, etc.. They were never able to make them manifest any sensation of pain. Later, to avoid abuses, the young people surrounded and protected the children with their arms. Hello Non Sum Dignus. Thank you for posting this video. I may have seen this once before but enjoyed seeing it again. It was wonderful to watch. Glenn can respond to your question here but I feel compelled to as well. For full disclosure, I have been a “Garabandalist” over 50 years, been there. 3X. Met and spoken with the 3 of the 4 girls briefly as a young boy and most recently and especially with Conchita a few times as recent as the mid 1990’s. I say all this simply to first say, the way you saw Mari Loli & Jacinta in this film were EXACTLY how they were (in Mari Loil’s case May she RIP and pray for us) and how Jacinta is, (as well as Conchita) Humble, Modest and soft spoken. (Wasn’t Jacinta’s husband Jeff so amazing and well spoken? I thought so. He is fantastic So, having said all that, during a TV interview, Mari Loli at that time didn’t remember what she said in a one on one interview back in 1975 which I will Post below without TV cameras rolling. As a matter of fact if you watch this entire film you can see Both Mari Loli and Jacinta didn’t remember or were too humble so to speak without much specificity on most things! Also, including myself and my first Knowledge of Garabandal, came from the original film on Garabandal, narrated by Richard Everson. In that film, made in the late 60’s, it is stated the Warning and Miracle are within 12 months- with no mention of the “same year.” But within 12 months of each other. However in this following exchange from July 27, 1975 in Needles Magazine Mario Loli was interviewed and said this: (And then below that from the Late Thomas Fahy and his book Suddenly and unexpectedly-and a video conference by the same later explains the confirmation of what Mari Loli said in a one on one interview and who she said it to-Fr. Guastavo Morelos. SO, simply put, Mari Loli(like all the girls) didn’t remember nor ever piece together things they said over the years especially not remembering with TV rolling in this 1991 Australian Visit. Nor did the interviewer here ask about or know about as a follow up to Mari Loli’s answer of what she said in 1975 to jog her memory. (Not that she would of remembered anyway or would be too humble or even fearing giving out too much info that she always felt should not say) These Girls of Garabandal are simple, Holy, humble, modest, etc which is why IMO, God/Blessed Mother Chose them and Garabandal for humanities last chance to be saved. Dear Glenn, In the late 1980´s or early 1990´s, two Priests, whom I knew personally at that time, visited Mari Loli in Massachusetts. On their return one of the Priests told me that Mari Loli disclosed to them, when they were leaving, that the Warning would be in an even-numbered year. Several years later I asked the same Priest if Mari Loli said even numbered year. He said, "Yes". I have also read about or heard the same from other sources, which I do not recall now. In another situation, I was told by a man in Massachussets, who knows the Pastor of the Church that Mari Loli attended, that Mari Loli was speaking to her Pastor in Massachusetts one day, after he came to know about her relation with Garabandal, and told him that she could not remember whether the Blessed Virgin told her that it was 3 weeks or 3 months that the Warning would precede the Miracle. That would confirm that the Warning and Miracle are in the same year, as she said in her July 27, 1975 publicized interview. I take the same year to be the same calendar year. Actually, I heard this from the Priest who was with Fr. Gustavo. I have not been in contact with either of them for several years now. ---------------------------------------------------------------- So, if you piece all this together, we can safely assume the Warning and Miracle are in the same, even numbered year, and if we know the Miracle is in April, the Warning should happen between January 1 and April 1 ( since Conchita will give 8 days notice of the Miracle will will be between April 8-16th.). Thank you for the respectful response. I too have believed in the happenings of Garabandal for decades. I also am aware of all the things you mentioned. After weighing all of this, I personally believe either could be true (same year or same 12 months). I think it is prudent to be careful not to discount the possibilities as we have seen in the misunderstandings witnessed over the years regarding 3-4 Popes, end of times vs end of the world, Joey's sight restored etc. As the Catholic Church assures us (and also Glenn writes) there is fluidity in the possibilities of prophecied events. Garabandal is no exception. If one rejects that there is fluidity then Garabandal would have to be rejected on Joey's "eyes" alone. We have to be open to the possibility that our own analysis may be incorrect and even also that the small details may be fluid, misquoted, misinterpreted, or mistranslated. The Catholic Church has a two thousand year history of encountering private revelation and is open to such. The question is what are the fruits in our lives? Are we striving for constant prayer? Are we living lives of sacrifice, in a spirit of chastity, poverty and obedience? Are we living lives filled with faith, hope, and love? God doesn't care how much we know about any private revelation. He cares that we live the true messages he gives us through scripture, church teaching and private revelation. God bless you!
Agreed and Amen! Blessed Mothers number one priority of why she came to Garabandal was not to advise of three events (1 conditional) it was and is simply to Amend our lives/lead good lives! Fulfill our state in life. That’s it! Everything else will happen in Gods time and with God in control! Peace be with you and God Bless you as well!
You may not know or remember ,but you hinging everything on a person who wrongly predicted the Warning twice ! ( and mislead people every April to Garabandal "to see the Miracle" with pilgrimages. ) So excuse me if I don't value her testimony as much as you. We know its "within 12 months " ( which leaves you lots of room for adjusting your prediction) but I say specifically with 3 months ( Jan - Mar ) of the year of the Miracle.
