This is 6 minutes of straight up rejoicing. It might be a bit much for the forum but I love it.

Maybe I should have this playing in the background when I'm honored to baptize a child. I'll have the family sing along!;) Alleluia!

I love it! And timing is perfect. Our sixth grandchild- Mia Rose- will become a child of God this Sunday! We are overjoyed and now this song will be in my head. Who knows, maybe I start singing a bit.. But in all seriousness, I welcome your prayers for this new Christian that God protect her and help her parents and Godparents raise her in the faith. Alleluia!

He was one of the Redemptorists who live in Annapolis in community. He was good.
    Thank you.

I seem to remember another apparition {perhaps LaSalette} in which the Virgin Mary said something like that-You do not know what the Father will send to earth. Does anyone else remember anything like that?

I sometimes think of Christ's words on the Cross, 'Father forgive them for they know not what they do!' Jesus was not simply being kind here; He was being honest. People simply do not know what they saying. I am sure Jesus still thinks this from heaven.

I think in these times many people have to touch the very bottom before they claw their way upwards.

Just a little background on my daughter. We taught her the faith from the cradle. Although my husband and I grew up in very Catholic South Louisiana, we moved to a southern suburb of Atlanta when our children were infants. Along with 132 likeminded families we helped to bankroll a regional catholic grade school that served 11 parishes. It was completely under the control of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Three years after the schools opening, 93 of the 132 original families had left the school because of gross mismanagement. When we tried to discuss this fact with the archbishop he told us that perhaps we didn’t belong there. We put our children in the Fayette County public school system and sent them to CCD at our parish church— which we felt was the best option. When the Harry Potter books first came out I thought they were harmless fantasy and read the first 2 to my children at bedtime— a treat that they enjoyed. When the third book came out I realized that it was taking a dark turn and told the children we wouldn’t be reading them anymore. Well, my daughter was already hooked and at that point could read them by herself. She had become completely enamored by wizards and witchcraft, and l had allowed it. We went to mass every weekend as a family and the children were both confirmed by Archbishop Wilton Gregory who is now Cardinal Gregory (who was mentored by Cardinal Bernadine in Chicago.). My daughter got a full academic scholarship to UGA so off she went. Just from different discussions we’ve had I got the impression that a course on the history of religion is what has led her to her unbelief in God.
I raise her up to the Lord at the Consecration of every mass I attend, say countless rosaries, novenas and have literally thrown myself upon the grave of St. Monica begging for her reversion. I may not live to see it but I do believe it will happen.

  16. If Steve Ryan may be reading this thread, please post the source for Mirjana saying that God is sending something to earth. I have looked for the last three days to find the quote and couldn't find it anywhere. No message has that quote and Mirjana's book, My Heart will Triumph does not have that quote. Mirjana said in the book that we are living in the time of grace, presently. Then will come the time of secrets when we will hear from her again and after that will be the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

I too live in hope Denise. I thought I was instilling the faith in my children. I tried. But they went through public school and on to college where they were secularized thoroughly. I seemed to handle it all wrong when I tried to intervene. Finally I stopped trying on the material level and have been doing battle on the spiritual level like you-- at every Mass and holy hour and through every Rosary. It just seems to get worse even though Our Lord has generously given me scriptures to hold on to that He will save them. The same issue with my husband. I live in hope but there are many desolate moments when I grow very weary. Mostly of myself and my weak faith and lack luster prayers. But I know the persevering prayer of a mother or father is precious in God's eyes so I pull myself up and start again. Like the beautiful southern spiritual "sometimes I get discouraged/and feel my work's in vain/but then the Holy Spirit/revives my soul again"
I guess I am trying to say we are fully engaged in a bloody warfare to "set the captives free" but it is Jesus and Mary who will do it when the time is right. Our job is to keep praying and trusting and claiming all the promises God has given us through the scriptures. "My Word goes out and does not return to Me void"

We are a confraternity arent we? Parents battling for their children against the greatest onslaught of evil the earth has ever seen. David against Goliath. Poor and small and ill equipped except for those 5 smooth stones--the 5 mysteries of the Rosary. The 5 Holy Wounds of Christ. The Armour of God! I have taken to uniting all my prayers to the "prayers of the just on earth especially parents praying for their children, the intercession of the angels and saints in heaven and the prayers of the holy souls in Purgatory, begging that prayers might also be efficacious for them." It makes my own little prayer seem to grow in power before the mercy seat of God. And finally I beg Our Lady to purify and sanctify my prayers.
Having said all that I see no movement or answers..so I must continually remind myself to hope in the Lord who has never disappointed those who trust in Him.

My heart breaks for you. Here in ireland a whole generation it seems has abandoned the faith.I believe it is mainly down to poorly taught cathesim but also of course the material world.Hard times make hard men sorf times make soft men and my ancestors saw hard times. All we can do is pray for your children that they will see the light.mine are only young yet but I pray all the time they won't abandon the faith and I concentrate them to my queen.
