Hi Byron. The English word "Advent" comes from the Latin word "Adventus," which means "Coming," as in the Second Coming. The Latin "Adventus" is the translation of the original New Testament Greek word "Parousia." Here are the references in Matthew, chapter 24: [3] And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world? Sedente autem eo super montem Oliveti, accesserunt ad eum discipuli secreto, dicentes : Dic nobis, quando haec erunt? et quod signum adventus tui, et consummationis saeculi? [27] For as lightning cometh out of the east, and appeareth even into the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be. Sicut enim fulgur exit ab oriente, et paret usque in occidentem : ita erit et adventus Filii hominis. [37] And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Sicut autem in diebus Noe, ita erit et adventus Filii hominis : [39] And they knew not till the flood came, and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be. et non cognoverunt donec venit diluvium, et tulit omnes : ita erit et adventus Filii hominis. By asking Conchita to answer that question about the mysterious letter "A," we could move beyond human "opinion" and find out what word the Blessed Virgin Mary said described the event of the Warning. Many years ago you told us the event of the Warning begins with the letter "A. " Since Our Lady never told you not to reveal it, can you now mention it? A. She did not forbid it, but I don't know why I haven't said it and I don't feel as though I should say it now. That interview with Conchita was in 1977. So in 1977 ("now") Conchita didn't "feel as those [she] should say it." But it is 2022, so maybe Glenn can ask if she feels like the can reveal it.
PNF, The Garabandal seers never officially stated that Jesus was coming at the time of the Warning. In fact, Conchita describes something much different in the sky from what St. Faustina described as a cross. I also believe that the letter “A” word does describe what Conchita saw that will appear in the sky. I forgot that recently also. Peace.
Don't try to test our Blessed Mother ! September 20, 1962 Loli had an apparition at 3 in the morning. It lasted half an hour. She gave the cross for everyone to kiss and gave cards to the Virgen to kiss. A man put something on the table that had already been kissed as a test. The girl lifted it up with the other things to be kissed, and we heard her say: “Oh! It has already been kissed!” One of the rosaries that she gave the Virgin fell to the ground, and it was the rosary that the man had put on the table. Fr. After the ecstasy, Conchita returned the rings to the man who had given them to her and told him and his companions what the Virgin had said. He was very embarrassed and said, "We came here to prove Garabandal was false if the girls gave us back the rings on our fingers, because none of us are married and we only bought the rings for this occasion." I'm sorry Carol55, I cannot fully respond to your statement because I want to honor Glenn's request. But if you will read my previous posts above, you will see that I never said that the "Garabandal seers officially stated that Jesus was coming at the time of the Warning." I said it should be obvious from the "evidence" and "logic" that I presented that the "Warning" described by the Garabandal seers is the same event as the "Second Coming" described elsewhere in Catholic public revelation. The "Warning" event itself is not a new thing in Catholic theology. It is a new name and a more detailed description of the same event that has been dogmatically defined and required for "the Faith" by the Catholic Church. Sorry Glenn. I was just responding to misinformation about my stated position. Hopefully, if people want to continue to discuss this topic, they will move it to another thread.

September 20, 1918 Padre Pio received the Stigmata. He is the first Catholic priest to receive it. It was Padre Pio’s wish to leave Conchita several personal items of his to her, after his death. He left her his rosary, one of the 3 Veils that covered his face at his wake, and one of his blood-stained gloves. This act of friendship speaks volumes to me about how close they were, and how much he believed Conchita and the Garabandal apparitions. Below the actual blood-stained glove from his stigmata.
Today in Garabandal History: September 22, 1961. Conchita had an ecstasy in her house at 10 o’clock at night. It lasted 110 minutes, she gave the crucifix to be kissed to those in the house and those outside through the window. The people tolerated the rain during this whole time and cried. The other 3 girls didn’t have ecstasies. Mari Cruz says that she had two calls but since it was late, she went to bed. Fr. PADRE PIO'S BELIEF IN GARABANDAL Joey Lomangino’s recall of the when he talked to Padre Pio: “We made arrangements to come back again that same day and greeted Padre Pio in the cloister. When we knelt down, we said to him, “Padre Pio, is it true that the Virgin is appearing to the four girls of Garabandal?” And he said, “Yes.” We said, “Padre Pio, should we go there? He said, “Yes, why not?” And that’s how it happened. Because I received the assurance from Padre Pio that the Virgin was appearing and that he permitted me to go, then I wasn’t afraid and I went. “ ----------------------------------------------------------------- “Fr. Pelletier -“Our Lady comes to Garabandal” page 219 “While he was living, the same Padre Pio guaranteed the authenticity of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin. He met Conchita at San Giovanni Rotondo. Even during the last days of his life he talked about this to his brothers in religious life and left a personal message for the principle personage of the apparitions.

Glenn, you mentioned in your Lifesitenews interview that Mari Loli said that Our Lady told her that "the Warning will come when things are at their worst." The Warning comes BEFORE "the Chastisement" right? So, the period of "the Chastisement" cannot be "when things are at their worst." To say that would directly contradict Our Lady. She said that AT THE TIME OF the Warning things will be "the worst." Surely we can agree on this point. The Catechism of the Catholic Church describes the Church's "the final trial" (CCC 675), unequivocally, as the "persecution" accompanied by a "religious deception." Immediately after that sentence, the CCC states that the "supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist...." Again, the Catechism calls this period the "final unleashing of evil" (CCC 677). "Supreme" deception means when the evil persecution will be at its "worst." "Final" means that nothing "worse" will come AFTER that for "the Church," the mystical body of Christ. So we must conclude logically, the "period of the Antichrist," described as "the worst" period by Our Lady of Garabandal and by the Catechism of the Catholic Church, will be the period AT THE TIME OF the Warning. Even though the Garabandal seers did not mention "the Antichrist," no private revelation that is true can contradict the Magisterium of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Therefore, the Warning is an event that occurs AT THE TIME OF the Antichrist. To say otherwise is to contradict the Catechism of the Catholic Church on the matter. Agreed?
Glenn will have his response when he can. Since I saw this first I MUST interject. Yes the Warning AND MIRACLE are BEFORE the Conditional Chatisement. Garbandal and NO one involved in Garabandal is saying ANYTHING re the Anti Christ. ZERO! NOTHING! We cannot speak to it bec Blessed Mother said NOTHING whatsoever about the anti christ at Garabandal. Not one time EVER! So you concluding what you stated in terms of “Things will be at their worst” and comparing the time of the Anti Christ and the Warning and “That Worst is the same time- is in error in re to the focus or statements of Blessed Mother At Garabandal Only! The statement of Mari Loli from Our Blessed Mother that “The Warning will come when things are at their worst and when it appears as if the church is at the point of perishing” is in reference to AT THE TIME OF THE WARNING ONLY!!! Why? Because when Blessed Mother advised that of the Warning , she NEVER EVER mentioned the Anti Christ. You are interjecting that and connecting that through the Catechism and other Catholic teachings! We as Garabandalists cannot say in any terms whatsoever, as Glenn clearly stated in the interview based on Garabandal-that the time of the Warning its at “it’s worst” is also the time of the Anti Christ. Of course I would definitely agree that whenever it is the time of the anti christ things will be even worse than at the time of the Warning. We need the Grace of the Warning and the Miracle to see clearly and know the anti christ is evil. And hopefully, if we are still alive to survive that. But the “at its worst” was stated by Blessed Mother was in regard to the WARNING for And at Garabandal ONLY and No statement connecting whatsoever mentioning the anti christ. And No that’s not my opinion. That’s the facts of Garabandal.
