Everyone seems to be talking about the significance of the below. I don't fully understand if it's good or bad. Can someone explain please? Third temple is evil??

The Third Temple is Biblical. It is Jewish. The Jews want to rebuild it and begin offering sin sacrifices there.

It's vain and futile. As their own Talmud states, the sacrifices lost their effectivity in the Second Temple forty years before the fall of Jerusalem, which corresponds with Our Lord's crucifixion. What power, either in Heaven or on Earth can restore the ability to forgive sin to the new temple?

I believe third temple is obviously evil since Christ our Lord sacrificed his life on earth for the forgiveness of sins once and for all. He himself is the third temple in his reserructed form and which we are also a part of it after death. It's not easy to built the third temple for the Jews because the rock on which the first & second temple used to stood is now accompanied by the Dome of the Rock Mosque by the Muslim invaders which is under the custody of the king of Jordan and if Israel demolishes the structure whole or in part may led to worldwide wars.

I believe the Jewish people look to the Book of. Numbers , chapter 19 looking at the use of the unblemished a perfect red heifer to purify the temple and themselves……

    https://bible.usccb.org/bible/numbers/19

But, of course, Christ Himself was and is the perfect sacrifice who perfectly atoned for all sins for all times. I hope and pray that our Jewish brothers have the veil lifted to see and understand what Isaiah prophesized was fulfilled in Jesus Christ:

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, … he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:10, 12)

And yes one day they will comprehend what St Paul wrote in his letter to the Hebrews:

The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! (Hebrews 9:14)

Perhaps all of this is a bigger signal to the conversion of the a Jewish people?

Our Lord works in mysterious ways. Perhaps He permitted the rise of Mohammedanism just to place this obstacle in the way of the Jews?

I think it's artful misdirection. The devil knows everybody looks the antichrist to rise there. But the Church is the temple because from rising to the setting of the sun the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered. If the words of consecration changes, say to let all Christian groups take the Eucharist, that would be a sign, IMHO.

Just wondered if there's a prophetic spirit in it for end times I guess.

Timely second reading of Ezekiel from todays Morning Office:

I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit in you.

I will take you from among the Gentiles,
I will bring you together from all the earth,
I will lead you into your own land.
I will pour clean water on you,
and you will be cleansed from your filth:
from all your worship of idols I will cleanse you.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.
I will take the stone heart from your breast and put a heart of flesh in its place.
I will put my spirit among you,
so that you will walk in the paths of my law,
keep my judgements and obey them.
You shall live in the land I gave to your fathers.
You shall be a people for me, and I will be your God.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son
    and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
    world without end.
    Amen.

I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit in you.

some Freemasons attribute its mystical origin to the builders of the Tower of Babel who were dispersed around the world with the confusion of languages and failure to build the tower; so they believe that scattered throughout the world their forerunners spread their mystical knowledge throughout the land; I believe that the antichrist will have a mission diametrically opposite to that of Christ described in Ezekiel 36, gathering under his reign all the societies that conspire for the destruction of the Church (peoples scattered throughout the world that Christ gathered).

Good insights! Isn’t it amazing that when the Holy Spirit cam at Pentecost, the opposite happened. Those filled by the Spirit could speak in multiple languages and those who were listening and also filled with the Spirit understood! The Holy Spirit did so then and I believe is acting now and even more powerfully soon to give this sane gift to understand if we accept and open our hearts. O come Holy Spirt, Come!

Mark Mallett mentioned something in his last article that really struck me. Yes, the powers that be are ready to act; trying to bring together the one world order.....But Our Lady has her heel hovering over the serpents head as we speak. Readying to act:) Great hope in the future for those who persevere in holiness.

I haven't taken the time to watch the video yet, but I've been keeping up with the topic since the time I spent with differing Protestant end-times groups. Long story short (too late!):
    1. There are several biblical requirements in addition to a pure-red heifer that may impede the creation of the ashes to be used to create the "water of lustration."

    2. Again, haven't watched the video yet, but the heifer MUST be sacrificed after its third birthday but before its fourth birthday, so if the heifer still remains red (i.e., no white hairs have appeared anywhere on it) there's a time limit for the sacrifice and subsequent burning of the sacrificed calf. Note that there is no need for the Third Temple to have been constructed or even started when this sacrifice takes place.

    3. For the Third Temple to be built, Israel MUST have full control of Temple Mount. This will not happen until after the War of Psalm 83, followed by the War of Gog/Magog (Ezekiel 38 and 39). The War of Psalm 83 describes a war that has not taken place yet, where all the Islamic nations surrounding Israel, backed by Assyria (Iran), join in a war to wipe Israel off the map. Naturally, they will fail, and the power of these Islamic states will decrease dramatically.

"Assyria" (Iran) is the center of Shia Islam, which is the source of the "Twelver" prophecies. The Twelvers are an apocalyptic sect, who believe that the leadership of Islam devolved into a different branch of Mohammed's family line, continuing until the birth of the 12th Imam. This Imam never died but is being hidden (occulated) by Allah until Allah determines it is the right time. When this 12th Imam (the Mahdi) is revealed, it is the beginning of the End Times. His descriptions in Islamic literature match very closely with the descriptions of the Antichrist.

None of the states listed in Psalm 83 were located in modern Arabia. Arabia is the home to Sunni Islam, which claim up to 90% of the world's Muslims. Saudi Arabia and Iran are enemies because each claim to have the legitimate source of Islam, through different branches of Mohammed's family line. The destruction (or at least devastation) of Iran in the War of Psalm 83 will work in favor of Saudi Arabia, as it will establish Sunni Islam as THE legitimate branch of Islam. This weakening of the Islamic states surrounding Israel will encourage other nations to attempt to take over these lands and (incidentally) finish the job of destroying Israel.

This will be the War of Gog/Magog. Ezekiel 38:4 says G_D will tell Gog that He will put "hooks in your jaws" to lead him into war against Israel. IOW, Gog (usually identified with Russia) will be dragged into this war; unwilling, but bound by his own words ("hooks in your jaws") to lead. Russia has several mutual defense treaties with both Iran and Syria. The destruction of Damascus (Isaiah 17) will give Russia the justification to join with other nations to lead a strike against Israel. Again, they will fail, and fail so spectacularly that no one will doubt that there is a God in Israel. (Some interpretations say that fire will fall from the sky, destroying the nations who joined in to exterminate Israel. This would include Syria, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.) Ezekiel 39 describes burying the bodies of the fallen armies in a valley that is located in Jordan. With Jordan (who is currently the prime administrator of Temple Mount) being destroyed or at least becoming a protectorate of Israel, there will be nothing to prevent Israel from claiming Temple Mount, enabling Israel to build the Third Temple.

    4. I've long believed that if the Third Temple will have been constructed but before it has had any sacrifices performed there, the Warning and the Sign of Garabandal will have occurred. Garabandal is located in a part of Spain where Jewish converts to Catholicism moved from the southern portion in order to avoid the Spanish Inquisition. (The Inquisition was primarily to investigate claims that some of these converts were still practicing Jewish customs and religious ceremonies, i.e., they were not truly converted to Christianity and so their loyalty to the Spanish crown was suspect. Remember that while the Inquisition started as a Catholic tribunal, it is when it was taken over by the secular government that the abuses commonly associated with it occurred.) The descriptions of Our Lady at Garabandal have her dressed as a Jewish maiden. If this is the case, then the Miracle (or Sign) that "can be seen and photographed, but not touched" may very well be the Shekinah Glory of G_D that appeared when the First Temple was constructed and sanctified (2 Chronicles 7:1-3). This event at Garabandal is supposed to herald the conversion of a great multitude of Jews (and possibly a great many Muslims) to Catholicism. If (and I say IF) that is the case, then this Third Temple may wind up being dedicated for use as a Catholic cathedral. This will enable the Temple to, in fact, be used for sacrifice, albeit the un-bloody Sacrifice of Jesus in the Eucharist.
(Wow. Did NOT expect this much to write down when I started. Apologies for the length.)

Just to be clear Muzhik, is the interpretation that you have provided something that originated in the "Protestant end-times groups" that you said you spent time with? It sounds like it comes from Protestants to me. You seem to even put a gloss on Garabandal that conforms Garabandal to these Protestant interpretations.

The prophecies of Garabandal have nothing to do with a physical "Third Temple" in the geographical city of Jerusalem in Israel/Palestine. The Garabandal prophecies are about the Roman Catholic Church and the final apostasy (that we are currently living through) and the solution to that problem, which will be "the Warning" and "the Miracle." Essentially, the problem revolves around the "religious deception" that occurs in the battle between the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and its opposite, the Counterfeit Catholic Church led by the False Prophet/Antichrist.

That is the same subject treated at LaSalette, Fatima, Akita, etc. It is the same subject treated in CCC 675, 676, 677. It is the same subject treated in Matthew 24, 2 Thessalonians 2, the Apocalypse. Nowhere in any of those prophecies will you find anything about "heifers," or "the Temple Mount," or an "Islamic War." What you will find in those places is talk about "Rome" becoming "the Seat of the Antichrist" (LaSalette), about the "final battle" being over "the family" (Fatima), about a war of "bishop against bishop and cardinal against cardinal" (Akita), about a Warning and Miracle (Garabandal), about a great "apostasy" and a "religious deception" (CCC 675).

If you are Catholic, as I assume you are, why do you focus on prophecies that are demonstrably false because they do not even mention the same subject matter as the authentic Catholic prophecies? Those false prophecies come from people following false religions, namely Jews and Protestants. We as Catholics must reject those false prophecies and teach the prophecies that agree with perennial Catholic teaching on the end times.

Surely those prophecies alluded to in Psalms and Ezekiel were conditional on the Jews having accepted their Messiah? Since they broadly rejected Him and crucified Him, Christ's Church is now Israel and those prophecies must be interpreted in that light, if they retain any validity.
