I completely agree it is HERETICAL to say "that the Roman Catholic Church will never be restored by Christ." So I would never advocate that position. Here's what the prophecies say. Human beings inside and outside the Church are going to mess things up so bad that they will look for a man and an institution (a Counterfeit Church) to "save" them. This is what CCC 675, 676, 677 is talking about, and it is happening before our eyes. Our only SAVIOR is Jesus Christ, and he will only "save us" when he "comes on the clouds." No human being or human-led institution will save us. There is no global period of peace that institutes a new, world-wide "Christendom" in which "the lion will lay down with the lamb" until AFTER Jesus Christ intervenes supernaturally in human affairs. Not saying that you, Luan, were claiming the contrary. I am just restating what the Catechism teaches in the context of the comment that you made. Please don't take any offense.

The Beast in the Apocalypse is the Counterfeit "Catholic" Church and "the Harlot" refers the members of that Counterfeit Church. This is what all of those comments from the New Testament above are warning about. The members of the Counterfeit and the members of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church are currently mixed together like in the parable of the wheat and the cockle. Very soon, "the harvest" will separate the two groups. When the Abomination of Desolation occurs will be the definitive sign for those who have not seen the problems up to that point. Then soon after Jesus will come "on the clouds" to "save" those who choose His will. The Beast Church, the Counterfeit Catholic Church, and its obstinate members (the Harlot), will eventually be destroyed.

Frankly, the "third temple" is a figurative symbol referring to "counterfeit Catholic church." Jerusalem is a figurative symbol referring to "the Roman Catholic Church." Old Testament was first temple (Solomon/animal sacrifice). New Testament is the second temple (Jesus/Roman Catholic Church). Counterfeit "Catholic Church" is the "third temple" (humanitarianism/toleration/freemasonic). The Second Temple, the Roman Catholic Church, is the only true path of salvation until the "end of time/the age/saecula." Yes, the visible (One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic) Church remains until the end of the Age/time/saecula at which point Jesus Christ "comes on the clouds" to reward and punish. The immediate period leading up to the Second Coming (which we are now in) is a time of confusion, tribulation, and "war" for the heart and soul of the Church. Bishops against bishops. Cardinals against cardinals. Finally, the infiltration by "communism" comes to full fruition and a Synod (Synod on Synodality) is held at the Vatican, which changes the teachings of the Catholic Church definitively. Then an official schism occurs. One side is the visible One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic remnant with the faithful hierarchy and believers (very few in number). The other side is the Beast Church, the Counterfeit Catholic church which preaches a new gospel and has a new liturgy (novus ordo) and a new understanding of the Sacraments. The Abomination of Desolation occurs either in the lead up to this official declaration or soon (within a year) after the Synod ends. I know you don't believe me. But I hope you will come to understand soon. And when you see the Pope go to Moscow, remember what I have told you.
