Our closest of friends, Tom and Sue, are in a very tough situation. They have downsized from the large house in which most of their 6 children were raised and have moved into a comfortable three-bedroom ranch in a very pleasant, friendly neighborhood. But then came the sharp turnaround in mortgage rates and the number of large families looking for homes has diminished. So they need their former home to sell very soon. A couple of times in the last two months there were promising nimbles, but they fell through. Please add them to your prayer list this month. A September sale is needed. And PurpleFlower may still be in a similar situation; I'm not sure. Prayers for all concerned! St. Therese pray for them!
What a nerve-wracking situation! I'll pray they can get that house sold very soon! We are in a much easier situation now because our home just sold a week ago. We're in an apartment hoping to find the right new place to buy soon.
