When combined, the mRNA vaccines were associated with a risk increase of serious adverse events of special interest of 12.5 per 10,000 vaccinated (95 percent CI 2.1 to 22.9). The authors note that this level of increased risk post-vaccine is greater than the risk reduction for COVID-19 hospitalization in both Pfizer and Moderna trials, which was 2.3 per 10,000 participants for Pfizer and 6.4 per 10,000 for Moderna. This means that on this measure, the Pfizer vaccine results in a net increase in serious adverse events of 7.8 per 10,000 vaccinated and the Moderna vaccine of 8.7 per 10,000 vaccinated. I've had a theory about my youngest. He was born the day our lockdown started in 2020. We went nowhere for several months and then when we did, the whole community was masked for many more months after that. My son didn't get sick even once his whole first year. But then...the following summer, when people started taking off their masks, our family started to get hit with one sickness after another. And my son, who had never been sick once, now became sick every single month. And not only that, but he seems to have to work harder than the rest of us to fight off infection. He gets very high fevers and secondary infections. I've wondered if during that first year of his life, when he wasn't exposed to any illness and wasn't getting many antibodies through my breast milk because I wasn't being exposed either, if it left his immune system lacking. And now he's having to catch up and fight everything this past year.

Yes, doctors also said that getting exposed to different viruses/bacteria daily can make your immune system more robust and active. Could it be possible that your child is lacking in Vitamin D or sunlight? Vitamin D is anti-inflammatory so it prevents high fevers.
He definitely doesn't get outside as much as he should these days due to temps in the 100s...but he went outside almost daily for most of the year.
I am a great believer in Vitamin D. I have taken high dose since covid outbreak and have yet to catch it. And I work in a school with over 600 snotty nosed kids lol I am also thanking God for his goodness in protecting me.
Yes! I too am a believer in vitamin D. When I started taking it in a school full of sick kids I too seemed mu ch more immune. I started taking it for my bones but the immune effect was a great extra benefit.
