Luan, How do you interpret Sister Lucia's mention of Heaven in the text below that follows the portion of the text that you have included in your post? "Afterward I felt in the increased beating of my heart and in my spirit a quiet voice which said: ‘in time, one faith, one baptism, one Church, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic. Heaven in eternity!’ This word, ‘Heaven,’ filled my heart with peace and happiness, so much so that, almost without realizing it, I continued to repeat for some time: Heaven, Heaven!’" I am not certain about these things, of course but I do believe in the prophecies of Saint Hildegard and those of Venerable Bartholomew which speak of a period (or era) of peace and a renewal of the Church before the end of the world. Venerable Bartholomew speaks of a Great Monarch and Holy Pope like other seers have *. Although, when I read the above portion of Sister Lucia's description of the 3rd secret it seems that she might be speaking of the end of the world which does not mean that the prophecy of the Great Monarch and Holy Pope won't happen but could it be possible that the vision of the 3rd secret was after the Great Monarch and Holy Pope and a period of peace? Any thoughts, anyone? Or might Sister Lucia be saying that those who practice the true faith will experience "Heaven in eternity"? *https://catholicism.org/venerable-b...ers-on-a-future-great-ecumenical-council.html
It seems to me that God has set a time limit for the conversion of the world before the age of peace (which would bring about the reunification of the Churches) while the promise of heaven remains open at all times to the devotees of the immaculate heart. I think Noah preached 120 before the flood because this was a time predetermined by God as the deadline for repentance and at the present time we also have a deadline (I'm just not sure of the time period); I believe that before the age of peace we have the ordeal of the reign of a forerunner of antichrist; for the first Christians were in a higher spiritual state than those of the present day, and they had to face the terrible Emperor Nero.
I think both Pope John Paul 2 and Pope Benedict finally understood how deep and powerful the forces of wickedness were that had infiltrated the Church at its highest levels were . But for some reason were unable to act. With Pope Francis they finally took over with one of their own.
If you're looking for dates, consider this prophecy by St. Bridget of Sweden: There was Saint Bridget of Sweden (1873): "When the feast of Saint Mark shall fall on Easter, the feast of Saint Anthony on Pentecost, and that of Saint John on Corpus Christi, the whole world shall cry, 'Woe.'" - See more at: http://www.spiritdaily.net/prophecychurch1.htm The Feast of Saint Mark commemorates Mark the Evangelist and takes place on April 25. Saint Anthony's feast falls on June 13 The Feast of St John is fixed at June 24 The Feast of Corpus Christi is a movable feast, which means that it depends on the date of Easter Sunday. It is celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday, which falls one week after Pentecost Sunday. Corpus Christi falls on June 24 in 1943 and 2038 SO: in 2038 Easter is on April 25 (the latest date it can fall) which is the Feast of St. Mark. In 2038 the Feast of Corpus Christi falls on June 24, which is the Feast of St. John. In 2038 Pentecost falls on June 13, which is the Feast of St. Anthony
Malachi Martin said this. He said JPII felt he could not stop it. He was counting on the Immaculatw Heart to come and fix it.
I am hopeful at least the warning comes before 2038. I cannot imagine how bad it would be by then without divine intervention. A thought I had though. 1943 was the height of WWII. Was she specifically talking about the chastisement when she referenced those dates? Was she possibly referring to WWII?
I did more digging to see if St. Bridget might have been referring to WWII. Sadly, not. I was hoping that it was already behind us or that the persecution would be over well before 2038. Here is the section I copied from this website that I will also link below. A number of Catholic prophecies identify a year in which will mark the reversal of a period of persecution the Church will undergo just prior to the time of the Antichrist. The prophecies suggest that at that time the persecution will have reached an apex, and through divine intervention, the Church will be ultimately liberated. The year isn’t named but will be characterized by the following: “When the Feast of St. Mark (April 25) shall fall on Easter, the Feast of St. Anthony (June 13) on Pentecost, and that of St. John (June 24th) on Corpus Christi, the whole world shall cry, Woe!” (Ven. Magdalene Porzat, ca. 1850). This confluence occurred in 1943 and will occur again in 2038, and then not until 2190. What makes this prophecy intriguing is that 2038 will likely be during St. Hildegard’s era of the Grey Wolf, the conclusion of which is represented by the sudden ending of a period of persecution and a glorious new beginning for the Church. Here is the link where I found this. https://thefivebeasts.wordpress.com...rd-and-the-convergence-of-feast-days-in-2038/ It seems to be well-researched by a Catholic scholar. Thoughts?
Here is some more from the website to think about. VERY interesting that it predicts the beginning of the persecution to be 2020 - right when the Mass and sacraments were not available to many (most) of the faithful. I am not convinced that the white flower refers to France though. I seem to remember the papal lineage prophecy refers to a white flower as one of the popes. I may be wrong there. So much more digging to do! A related prophecy appears in a sixteenth-century document known as the Prophecy of Orval. This is not a person but the name of a Cistercian monastery in Belgium which still exists today. A fragment of the anonymous prophecy, discovered in its archives in the mid-nineteenth century, describes the exact length of a period of God’s chastisement of His people which occurs near the time of the Antichrist: “But the sons of Brutus view with anger the white flower and obtain a powerful code, and God in consequence is much irritated on account of his elect, and because the holy day is much profaned; nevertheless God will put to trial the return to Him during eighteen times twelve moons. God alone is great! He purifies his people by many tribulations, but an end will always be to the wicked.” The identity of the “sons of Brutus” is difficult to discern, but the white flower is obviously France. Eighteen times twelve moons is 18 years, marking the end to the “tribulations”. If we connect this with the Feast day confluence in 2038, also dramatically ending a period of persecution, then 2020 would mark the beginning of the chastisement as well as Hildegard’s era of the Grey Wolf. The prophecy of Orval also predicts the length of the period of peace that follows the chastisement: “…fourteen times six moons and six times thirteen moons” [thirteen and a half years]. This would suggest that the arrival of the Antichrist will be sometime after 2050.
WHOA! Pope Paul VI is the flower? The symbol of France was on his crest. 08. Flower of flowers Paul VI (1963–78) Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini Proponents of the prophecies have attempted to link this motto to Paul VI by interpreting it as a reference to the fleurs-de-lis on his arms.[126] So - the sons of Brutus could be the clerics who opposed Pope Paul VI. Please weigh in if this is off base. Just conjecture and a bit of research. My apologies if these writings and ideas have already been discussed. If you know of a thread that does that, please point me to it. Thank you!
In history, Brutus was a friend to Julius Caesar, emperor of Rome. Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by a group of his so-called “friends” in the ruling class. Brutus betrayed his friend Caesar and also stabbed him to death. Key word, betrayal. I don’t think you are off base there.
Dante places Brutus in the deepest level of hell right in Satan's jaws along with Judas--the worst betrayer. Sons of Brutus sounds like traitors to me.
One thing to consider when saying, "18 X 12 moons = 18 years": the lunar calendar has 13 months (moons) in a year -- almost. The Hebrew calendar is a lunar calendar, and at regular intervals it adds a month (Adar II), and overall is more accurate than the Gregorian calendar we use today.
