I think the anti Christ is supposed to have 12, 'Apostles', like Jesus, so it would be easy to get mixed up.
the first beast of the apocalypse (antichrist) has 10 horns (10 kings who give him power and the second beast (False Prophet) has two horns like a lamb; perhaps this has to do with an imitation of the 12 apostles.
If the antichrist is to be the Messiah to the Jews, then he will have to meet all the prophecies foretold of his coming just like Jesus did correct? Born in Bethlehem by a virgin, etc.
