Gee Beth, it sounds like you're upset. What angers me more than Trudeau's extreme measures is the fact that many in Canada still support him. And so it is. Covid-19 has been used to create a huge divide in the West between those supporting governments out of fear and those who are against mandates. This is satan's doing: divide, but ensure those in power become the oppressors while simultaneously painting their opponents (such as most of us) as rebels supporting tyranny. Here is where prayer and fasting will prevail. I'm such a wimp when it comes to fasting. Lord have mercy!

Thank God that Fr. Goring was in the area. I'm sure he didn't leave Catholic protesters orphaned. There was plenty of Protestant presence visible. I saw them pray the Our Father at the tomb of the unknown soldier and they had a piper play Amazing Grace. While I'm sure that there is wealthy political interest mixed in with the convoy, the truckers are ordinary working people who deserve to have their concerns considered by our Bishops as well as by the politicians. Watching our leaders entrench themselves firmly in the camp of the super wealthy can be frustrating.
Yes, I am upset. These totalitarian governments hurting innocent people all over the world and innocent, good people are being hurt, forced to quit their jobs, pressured into a dangerous vaccine…on and on. Yes, I’m mad at evil being tolerated and those who have the courage to fight it being made to look like the oppressors. And I agree that prayer and fasting is the only real remedy. I’m not good at fasting, but I know it’s absolutely necessary. I’m going to try. By the way…Fox News just warned that if the USA gets into it with Russia, they could take our grid down. Probably not going to happen, but if it does, fasting won’t be a option….it will be survival.
Beth, subsequent reports ( later down in this thread as well) say she did not die but was injured in shoulder area. Not sure if that has been verified either. This would be great news. But, still, an awful event precipitated by government and police. Sad.
