Don't despair all. Like FatimaP said, many of us have been preparing with the sole intention of helping all God sends our way. All that I have, He can easily multiply and multiply forever. Many feel this same way. Find your peace in Mathew's Gospel below! [20] But lay up to yourselves treasures in heaven: where neither the rust nor moth doth consume, and where thieves do not break through, nor steal. [21] For where thy treasure is, there is thy heart also. [22] The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be lightsome. [23] But if thy eye be evil thy whole body shall be darksome. If then the light that is in thee, be darkness: the darkness itself how great shall it be! [24] No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. [25] Therefore I say to you, be not solicitous for your life, what you shall eat, nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat: and the body more than the raiment? [26] Behold the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns: and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you of much more value than they?
Yes, great faith in God will be necessary and rewarded. God knows how to provide for His children. We may find we need far less than we've ever had before, but God will provide for all His children He wishes to survive through the times ahead. An interesting thing with my family is that we've always trusted in God like little kids when it comes to having enough money. And I kid you not, my husband (who does the bills) is so often completely baffled that we always have just enough money to cover our bills, when he's absolutely sure we went over in our spending "this time." It's mind-blowing sometimes how the money is just always "magically" in our back account. And I will add, sometimes my husband works overtime so things will be a bit more cushy for us...and every single time something breaks and we have to spend the extra money we made fixing it. Every time, without fail. God loves providing for us, just what we need, no more, no less, and He makes sure we know it! Haha. My husband and I know that God is the same in good times and bad, and He will care for us no matter what happens.
Yes, PF, all that really matters is what we need. I try to remember when some surprise largess shows up, to ask, "For whom, Lord?
Amen, Brother. So many don’t realize that the way God will provide is through people sharing their wealth, knowledge, skills, labor, and most importantly Love with one another. If you’re counting on manna to literally fall from heaven into your lap, please think again. Don’t wait in the hope that God Himself will come to rescue you and turn away the help He sends who will be your neighbor God sends to help you. God works through people, always has, always will
About 5 days ago, there was a road mishap in the state of Pennsylvania and just like there is a movie with this sort of plot, monkeys escaped: Woman Who Came Into Contact With Escaped Monkeys Says She Developed Symptoms By Jack Phillips January 25, 2022 Updated: January 25, 2022 Print A Pennsylvania woman who came into contact with laboratory monkeys last week after a truck carrying them crashed has said she developed unusual symptoms. On her Facebook page and during media interviews, the woman, Michelle Fallon, said she developed symptoms after the accident. However, when she approached the cages, a monkey appeared and hissed at her. More at: Woman Who Came Into Contact With Escaped Monkeys Says She Developed Symptoms (theepochtimes.com) I feared that in this weather, most monkeys would have a difficult time; though, I suppose there are some breeds that can adapt to the cold. However this is, I hope this saga has ended, sadly per this news: CDC: Three monkeys caught and euthanized after crash near Danville A public health risk assessment was conducted by several organizations including the CDC; confirming the escaped monkeys were humanely euthanized. This is so true…. I’ve often thought the same. Who are we that thought we deserved better than the suffering of so much of the world. God intended us who are blessed to help others. To those who have much, much is expected.
"Seems like it", have any evidence? It's just the news and something that has been in the news for days here, in turn, shouldn't always be turned into "they are out to get me", if someone doesn't know the news, maybe this thread should be closed and we plead ignorance then.
It may be news. But it's not something to worry about given that the woman's 'claim' to be have strange symptoms cannot be verified. Hence my skepticism.
Nice comeback, no evidence or you'd present it, it's back to "they are out to get us", tabloid news, another cliche. If one wants to be paranoid fine with me but let's not cast By the way, the first article is from Conservative news outlet, The EPOCH TIMES. So, please, see who they are instead of the Trad Tradition of attacking others, and claiming this Righteousness on Morals. IT's a little old. MATTHEW 6
Tin, wasn't mocking you at all. I simply was making a light hearted joke, we have to keep joy, laughter, and a sense of humor. Or we can be sullen and angry, much prefer to choose Joy and Love as we go through this unfolding tribulation Please know I was not mocking you. Just making a joke that was not directed at you, rather directed at all the media and their handlers for all the scare tactics they push at us, it's become quite ludicrous in many ways and in no way should the media and their handlers be compared to our Lord as He went through the Passion...
This story is wild. They were discussing it on Fox last night and and wondering why the proper precautions were not taken to transport 'infected' monkeys. Apparently they were in a flimsy trailer that was hardly adequate to keep the animals secure. Who knows what these poor monkeys were infected with? Crazy.
I can still remember the occasion I returned from a routine visit to my doctor in which an EKG was done. When I arrived at home there was an urgent message from him saying the EKG indicated some worrisome heart issues. He had arranged an expedited clearance at St. Joseph's Hospital so that I could be quickly admitted and proceed to the ordered tests. I took my GP serious; he's usually a very calm fellow. Geralyn went with me. Upon arrival, it only took me 7 minutes to be admitted and they whisked me momentarily to my assigned room. Tests were to be immediately forthcoming. It was now about 7:30 in the evening. Well, Geralyn and I snuggled down and turned on the TV to fill in the time and we discovered a channel that was showing all of the Sharknado movies! We made it through three of the films (pretty hilarious) before they came to get me for testing at 2AM. So much for dangerous heart issues. The tests proved negative! GO SHARKNADO!
Pretty sure this is the next scare event Heading to Trump's house of course, but I am sure the MSM will say he's working with Vader and the Emperor to destroy the country.

I hope everyone has heard about the truckers convoy in Canada - thousands of trucks heading to Ottawa to protest the mandates. The movement is being distorted in the press, but whatever.... There is a twitter feed with many videos of very touching testimonies of people supporting truckers. For example, many people are coming out into very cold weather to park by the routes where they are to bring them coffee and food. The whole effort may not change the Pharaoh's heart but the coming together of people and the gratitude they feel towards them all is a good sign that really warms my heart. God Bless these men and women!
