A small prayer request: I haven’t seen my kittie Gracie since yesterday morning. I let her out every day, but she always comes back, usually at least twice a day, famished. I go over to my friend’s home every evening for Rosary, and Gracie always walks back with me to my trailer. If not, I call her and she always comes. So despite the overwhelming prayer needs of this current time, I would ask that in your kindness, you would please offer a quick prayer that she returns home safely. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all your prayers! My friends found her. She was hiding in their barn/ garage, and even though the door was open all night, she did NOT want to come out when I went in to get her. I had to carry her out and she was skittish and crouched low the whole way home. I suspect she got a scare from either a fox or a bobcat. Now she’s hanging out on my chest and is VERY clingy. (She’s eight months old now so I guess she’s not really a kittie any more…)
Poor little kittypuss! She's a tortoiseshell? We had one and she was so vocal she kept losing her voice! They have a reputation for being talkative. I hope all the TLC helps her forget whatever spooked her
She is gray/black, orange and white tabby on top, and white, black and orange calico on her legs, chest and belly. I’ve heard that called caliby and tabbico? Is that what tortoiseshell means? Yes, she is vocal! She’s well over her scare, whatever it was, and wants me to let her back outside.
She is very pretty and very sweet. And a real character. She sure wants the security of a snuggle. So cute.
My sister's bird, named Angel. She sent this message just now: "Our little budgie broke his leg this morning and we can’t find any vets to help him. We have called all over (their area). Russell was putting them in their big cage and Angel was flying around and landed on the mouse trap. Not sure his leg can be saved. If he survives shock and his injury until Monday when I take him to his vet. We are headed to Petco to see what they have for pain relief." Prayers to St. Francis and St. Anthony (help in finding pain relief and a vet before Monday).
