Thank you all for your prayers and concern. I have recovered from cancer and got the all clear over a year ago but have a regular check up at the hospital. I'm scheduled to have one this week. My heart problems started in recent months and I have had partial investigation. The hospital has to schedule one more test for me but I'm now waiting since early November. I have private health insurance but it makes no difference. I have refused the vaccine so my condition is not related to the vaccine. Our hospitals here seem to be totally focused on covid. People are dying from other causes because they are left on waiting lists and are not getting the treatment they need.
How terrible that you have had to wait so long for this test and a proper diagnosis, this is so wrong. Prayers going up for you maryrose. I hope you finally get the help that you need at this appointment.
Please up the ante in your prayers for me. My respiratory system has taken a turn for the worse. I had been upright virtually all day and have had minimal breathing difficulty similar to that of a chest cold. But when I initially fell asleep for only 10 minutes, I woke up suddenly with some breathing distress which lessened in the living room only when I assumed a sitting position. So that is a definitive change though there is no accompanying fever. I have been on supplementation including some hydroxychloroquine, but I probably need to tweak my regimen. My wife, who has a medical background has swooped in; "Dr." Ger is now in charge! Thanks! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee! Only just seeing this. I am upping my prayers for sure. Prednisone works wonders for me when I have lung inflammation from asthma.
Praise Jesus! We do have an arsenal at our disposal and should use it all. I also know of a few priests who also encourage us to pray prayers of authority to repudiate and crush the actions of the devil. Maybe we should be saying more of those? I have been reading the book of Esther because of it's link to the apparitions in Fatima and have prayed Esther's prayer. I can't remember if I've posted it before but her prayer is one of intercession for her people and is complete with the important honest repentance ("We have sinned in thy sight, and therefore thou hast delivered us into the hands of our enemies") and also specific requests from God upon certain people ("Give me a well ordered speech in my mouth in the presence of the lion, and turn his heart to the hatred of our enemy, that both he himself may perish, and the rest that consent to him.") It seems like a prayer for our times! Courage & strength everyone.
Please pray for my daughter. She was doing well recovering from Covid, then started vomiting, cold and clammy. Also, bleeding from uterus a lot. She's not vaxed. She's in college in remote area and can't drive due to epilepsy. Pray she gets to hospital and receives the care she needs.
