You said it M, 'reality is hard to ignore'. Personally, I don't think they've come this far, to let us off the hook now.... Between everyone (or at least most people) who frequent this site, we could put it together: Population cull Destroy the economy Destroy the Catholic church Initiate the mark of the beast Deface God's creation - Including the destruction of human beings, the environment and fundamentally; destroy God's innocents, the little children. I may have missed certain things. Please add to the list that I might be aware. As a footnote, they have already achieved, to varying degrees, a number of goals: Abortion - the destruction of life. The family, and it's destruction. Education, and it's perversion. Pornography, and it's promotion. Marriage, a sustained attack. Children, attack on their innocence. Governments; taken control of. The mass; 27 people at 10am mass this Sunday morning past; enough said! It actually is pretty grim unfortunately, when you consider it...... Jesus must be so, so disappointed. I don't know what else to say.
Yes he must be and that is why he must be coming soon with one great last act of mercy and a chance? No matter how grim it looks and how hard it may get and how easy this is to say or type vs live it, but we have to simply Love and Trust in Him. No matter what! What else can we possibly do or control other than that? The Blessed Mother has been warning us and telling us that simple yet extremely hard message to us for a very very long time.
In the 3rd sorrow of the 7 sorrows rosary, our lady suffers the loss of Jesus for 3 days. In contemplating that sorrow down the years, I have never ceased to be amazed at our lady's reaction to losing Jesus. She did everything right. She was not long back from the 7 year sojourn into Egypt - whence she gave up everything to flee Herod (who sought to kill the baby Jesus); home, family, community, culture, even her country, as well as friends, familiarity etc etc. But instead of blaming God for taking Jesus from her, instead of highlighting to God how good and obedient she had been.... She blamed herself. She was overwhelmed that she had in some way offended God. And she was dismayed at herself. I think of the many times that I have been angry with God - particularly when I have been 'doing well' by him. And I am ashamed. Our Lady did not blame God because she trusted in him. She had faith in him. She knew he was greater and wiser than she I think we would do well to adopt a similar stance. As you rightly point out Andy - no matter how difficult that might be.
I just purchased ginger today. I used to buy it routinely, but haven’t recently. Well, if I get the new variant, I’ll let you know! A dear friend had a severe sinus infection and was positive for Covid two days ago. So sinus issues are a symptom of Covid.
Yes, I too need to look inwardly at my own failings spiritually and accept the consequences.God is never wrong…never.
You expressed the current situation perfectly! Only God knows when enough is enough. I’m confident in His eternal wisdom that He has a plan! It might be soon!
Between this variant and the weather we had recently in Washington store shelves are looking rather thin. I hope that with the passes opening back up and flooding subsiding we will start to see things returning to normal at least on that front. It's been very odd to see things like no eggs or milk in stock in places.
The important thing is everyone is OK so far. I'm so grateful that everyone here is well or on the mend. We can get more milk and eggs.
Well, I avoided the other variants, but have come down with omicron: fever, cough, congestion. Low energy, though I did haul wood from the barn. I'm on a good regimen of meds!
It’s odd Don. I was out today and our stores were fine…but other nearby cities had empty shelves…? Weird… oh…I’m glad you mentioned that HH. Do you know if you had the delta variant? Or the new one?
Oh Terry’s, sorry your ill…but it’s not as threatening as the horrible delta. You must be tough…you still hauled wood! Hope your better soon. Glad you have your meds
My husband is having lots of sinus pressure and drainage. My throat and neck is swollen today. We don't test for Covid, just treat all sickness like it could be. He's taking Quercetin, Zinc and lots of vitamins and I'm taking vitamins.
