Hi, A lot of forums have rankings, so the more you post the more your rankings change. This forum had rankings set up by Sadik the IT creator. I was thinking of changing them to the nine choirs of angels as I thought it might be fun. Glenn sent me a message that it might be an idea to just do away with rankings. What do you think? Please give your vote as listed above and I will do as you, the majority, like.
Let's just keep thee things the way they are. There are plenty of forums on the web with thumbs up-thumbs down - and often what happens is almost a childish war between some members, especially in thumbs down/disliking.
I don't mind either way.. but i'd prefer not to have the 9 choirs of angels cos I pray regularly to them.
I just feel it would be a little disrespectful using the choirs of angels.. they are constantly before the throne of God... but that's just me!
I am amazed that I am an arch angel, and if St Michael has me on his team, he is certainly going to need a lot more prayers. And a lot more help from God. Ha ha, I give him enough trouble!
I suppose we should be all meek and humble souls and not care if we have the ranking of an angel or not. I just found it cute and funny when I discovered what it was. And it's a little fun thing to see. I call the people who don't post a lot and don't have an angel ranking, our quiet and humble souls: saints! I think perhaps a higher ranking than angels. I think{at least I hope} the angels would not take offence at us for calling ourselves angels, perhaps just showing our love for them? Well, Padraig can just always ask his.
I think it's like naming our children after saints and angels, Mary and Joseph, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael. We pray to them but we are all fellow servants to God. Mother Angelica had a wonderful sense of humour. I was praying for her the other night. The poor woman is on a Cross. But I am sure she still cracks the jokes.
LOVE Father Corapi! Just goes to show the persecution and attacks our Priests are suffering in these times. Whether he did wrong or not, he certainly was attacked by demons for his amazing witness to the darkside and to God's mercy.
Yes I was very fond of him. What happened is indeed a warning to us all. Perhaps he will be be back, but maybe in another role...
I do miss him and his weekly show. Yes, anyone of us can fall at any time. I can certainly fall with the best of them. When we stray from the sacraments, I think that increases our chance of falling ten-fold. that's why it is so important to lead a life centered around the sacraments. I hope he comes back, as I'm sure he is still in Our Lady's plan for this world. It just won't be in the original role.
I'm wondering if maybe the "LIKE" system should be eliminated. I could see how it can be used at times as a tool to pit folks against each other even if not intentionally. I heard it mentioned in another thread. Or possibly to make it so everyone doesn't see when a post is LIKED. Maybe you just get them privately. I'm not meaning to butt in where I shouldn't, but just something to think about when voting on the rankings system since the "LIKE" portion is part of the points total that makes up the ranking.
