I agree completely, I really feel God does not want me to take the vaxx and right now I can't see any way I could possibly take it even to the point of death. Even if it split up my family, can't believe I am saying that, but I just feel this is so deeply wrong.
I also feel God has a real plan for those who oppose this, we will be a witness to others as they wake up, someone for them to talk to.

I really hope that sign appears in the sky soon, its getting very precarious right now.

My question for anyone using that story to support vaccine mandates is: how many babies were murdered by the rescuers and how many murdered babies' organs were used in the manufacture and testing of the helicopter and boat used by the rescuers sent by God? I missed that detail in the story.

Dr. Fauci and/or Pfizer being portrayed as God's messengers screams diabolical disorientation to me. Gain of Function Fauci! Seriously? What next? Planned Parenthood are today's Maccabees?

I notice that lately the favourite gaslighting tactic used against Christians is the Pharisees accusation employed by those who call evil good.

Some good news on my end. My sick mother came with my brother to my work today. I work in a large furniture/appliance retailer. There is no vax requirement in retail for staff or customers. She was fine to get close and hold my arm, look at stuff and chat for an hour etc. Still scratching my head why here is ok and I can't see her at her condo or in my place. Still I'll take it, was great to see her. Maybe it's a sign that she is a little less fearful, maybe even coming around a little bit.

That story should never be used to support vaccine mandates.

    It's a ridiculous analogy.

There are holier than thou types on both sides of the debate. Some of my extended family who are fully vaccinated including the booster are way holier than I will ever be. Others wouldn't darken the door of a church but can moralise like they had a direct line to the God they don't believe exists. This pandemic has produced some very strange alliances. On the other side, there are people opposing the vaccine who don't seem to believe that the virus can be deadly.

The rules are weird. I'm expected to sit 2 metres away from others at Mass, and some churches discourage singing hymns. Meanwhile, last week in Dublin:

I guess it depends on which church you go to: the Church of Rome or the Church of Rugby.

This is long winded but I want to give the back story to the situation and what my doctor told me about being vaccinated since I am severely immune compromised, have a very severe level of disease and am on a high dose of steroids. This, especially in light of what the Gov is recommending via the CDC to others in a similar condition with the boosters.
I was admitted to a major hospital in Seattle this Oct. A team of doctors over the first week ran the gamut of tests for infectious disease and viruses and were unable to find any nor pinpoint a cause for my ailment.
I told the doctors that I had been on a new medication and had experienced another side effect which had caused my primary doctor to discontinue the med and two weeks after discontinuing it this had happened. I asked them if my issue was another (albeit delayed) of these side effects since the medication stays in your system for many weeks after discontinuing it. They dismissed this idea. Even the immune specialists who prescribe these meds regularly did. I feel sorry for their patients. I dropped it and figured they are the doctors and will figure it out.
To make a long story short the infectious disease doctor ruled everything he possibly could out via tests and then placed me on a high dose of steroids. Within 6 hours I had relief and a marked improvement in constitution. Prior to this they were talking about inserting a feeding tube in my stomach because I had not eaten in 8 days. I was then discharged the next morning and knew as little on leaving as when I had arrived but had a prescription for steroids and antibiotics since I had developed pneumonia while there and was ordered to stop all other medications for the time being.
My recovery has been relatively steady since then with a few setbacks. I went to see my Rheumatologist and not only did he bring up that I had likely had a delayed allergic reaction to the medication but he also mentioned that nobody from the hospital had consulted with him regarding my ongoing serious health issues while I was there. I felt a great deal of relief that my Doctor thinks outside the box.
He recommended that I get vaccinated for Covid (he originally had recommended against it) but that I would have to come way way down on the amount of steroids I was taking for it to have any meaningful effect. I asked him why and he told me that due to the action of the vaccine and steroids muting the immune response that creates these antibodies it would in turn create very low amounts of them and likely not offer the level of protection to make the juice worth the squeeze. It would be better to keep taking the precautions I have, taper off the steroids and then get vaccinated when it can do the most good.
I love this guy, because he acts in good faith.
The reason I find all this interesting is that the Govt agencies are recommending people like me not only get vaccinated but take the boosters ASAP. They specifically address people on steroids in their recommendations over a daily dose of 20mg or more as being top of the list so to speak in terms of priority of which I certainly meet their criteria. The very same group of people who will likely get very little if any benefit from the vaccine or boosters to begin with are being told to get it anyway and get it now. It seems to me that they are doing a bit of covering their behinds with this recommendation. They are well aware at the CDC that immune compromised individuals on high dose steroids will get little to no protection but they are casting a Hail Mary trying to at least offer some protection should we see a variant with a much higher death rate which will of course begin with the most vulnerable.
I hope others in my situation have Doctors as caring and thoughtful as mine. He put me on Hydroxychloroquine straight out of the gate when this all began which fortunately he was able to do since it has been used to treat my condition for decades. It could be argued that some protection is better than none of course and I can see the merit that side of it if there is no way to increase the effectiveness of the vaccine. In that case then of course this is the reasonable approach.

Don, I’m so sorry about your recent health issues…they sound horrible. You’ve been through a awful lot and it doesn’t sound as though you are out of the woods.
I sure hope you stabilize soon and get some relief. We are so dependent on the knowledge of our doctors…our life is in their hands.

Praying you are on the road to recovery…being sick like this you really understand your vulnerability.
Good to hear from you again and keep us updated!

Follow the science. Here’s a very recent and alarming study:

“…the mRNA vacs dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination.”

ACS Risk Biomarkers Significantly Increase After mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine
    Cardiology Advisor Contributing Writer
    November 18, 2021
The risk of developing acute coronary syndrome (ACS) significantly increased in patients after receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, according to a report presented at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2021, held from November 13 to 15, 2021.

The study included 566 men and women (1:1) aged 28-97 years, who were patients in a preventive cardiology practice. All patients received a new PULS Cardiac Test 2-10 weeks after their second COVID-19 vaccine. This test result was compared with a PULS score from 3-5 months prevaccination. The PULS Cardiac Test measures multiple protein biomarkers, including hepatocyte growth factor [HGF], soluble Fas, and IL-16, and uses the results to calculate a 5-year risk score for new ACS. The PULS score increases with above-normal elevation. All participants received this test every 3-6 months for 8 years.

From prevaccination to postvaccination, the levels of IL-16 increased from 35=/-20 to 82=/-75 above the norm. Soluble Fas showed an increase from 22±15 to 46=/-24 above the norm. HGF rose from 42±12 to 86±31 above the norm. As a result, the 5-year ACS PULS risk score increased from 11% to 25%. By the time the report was published, changes had persisted for 2.5 months or more after the second vaccine dose.

The study author concluded that “mRNA [vaccines] dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination.”
