I think I’ve found my family’s Generational spirit

I posted a thread like this a long time ago, and I think, I may have even spoken about my speculations about what my family’s Generational spirits were there, (And may have even spotted this in my speculations) but this noontime I suddenly came to realization that my family may suffer from a spirit of despair; I see it in all my immediate family members. All immediate family members seem to have issues of not caring, of being pessimistic, of throwing-up their arms and being like “I give up! It can’t be fixed!”

I could be wrong but things do seem to line-up here. Please keep up your prayers for my family and me.

I will pray. I do not have to look far for my families generational spirits. Suicide, alcoholism, addiction, depression. I pray for healing and forgive my ancesters

I understand. Same. Still not certain to what extent and how far back.

A Prayer to Heal Your Family Tree, way written by — Rev. John H. Hampsch. Adjusted, praying for despair in the family.

Heavenly Father, in our family trees, O Lord, replace all bondage of despair with a Holy bonding of faith and hope. And let there be an ever-deeper bonding with You, Eternal Father, by the Holy Spirit, to Your Son Jesus. Let the Family of the Holy Trinity pervade our families with Its tender, warm, Loving Presence, so that our families may recognize and manifest That Love and Hope in all our endeavor. All of our unknown needs we include with this petition that we pray in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

St. Joseph, Patron of family life and all workers, pray for us. “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

Both of my wife’s grandfathers were 33rd degree Freemasons. (She was raised Lutheran.) I attribute many of our family’s serious problems to this history and the generational spirits that may have passed down from it as a result.

Some advice RosaryWielder. Have you ever thought of moving away from your family. From what I've read there seems like some dysfunction. In my opinion sometimes it's better to separate and pray for them from a distance. If you want to be whole and live a life close to God. By living with them you may be adding there spiritual baggage and frustration. I've dealt with a similar situation. I moved forward and found much more peace.

Me neither. I know my dad said we came from money my my grandpop was the blacksheep so he was tossed out.

  12. I listened many years ago in Youtube from Catholic exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger where he commented that most of the families of Freemasons, their children and grandchildren end up in divorce because of their Freemasonry generational spirit...

Yes, even Dr. Taylor Marshall called a Catholic exorcist to have a exorcism prayer said for him and his children because he has a Freemason ancestor...

I do live away from them to some degree, I live in a Condo unit that they’ve bought and rented-out to me; I’m not completely independent. I am praying for both myself and them.

I also saw a priest say that we should pray daily in forgiving our ancestors for actually committing the acts that caused these problems. I had a grandpop who had a baby with the babysitter, was the town drunk and cheif of police ( believe it or not) , who also beat my grandmom. They got married in Catholic Church and he said to grandmom, you will never see the inside of that Church again. I have to start my prayers up again for him.
