President Joe Biden announced it to all the reporters. It’s all over the news. So, if it’s not true, then the Pope should immediately correct the statement. Did the Pope tell Biden that it was ok for him to receive Communion?
Staying silent on this would only make it the truth.

But its an issue of Faith and Morals and since it is being asserted in public by a head of state claiming to be Catholic, Francis has a duty to respond, either confirming or denying the assertion by Biden.

I broadly agree, but it cannot be ruled out as yet that there is a confessional seal involved here and maybe we should give the pope the benefit of the doubt on this, at least until we have more clarity.

Pope Francis gravely risks his long-term reputation if he allows this to be assumed true. He is on record as saying that an abortion is the equivalent of hiring a hitman. If Biden remains a good Catholic according to the pope, and Biden has I believe directed public money towards the abortion industry, the equivalent of hiring these hitmen, it seems impossible in logic to deny that it is the pope's moral view that the hiring of a hitman, or indeed the encouragement, facilitation and 'moral' support of hitmen, is morally acceptable. One would be left only with the choice that one could morally hire someone to 'take a pop at him' or conclude that the pope is a moral imbecile.

I would hope that not to respond, no matter his own views, might even be going too far for many in the progressive side of the Church; I would hope that quite a lot of them-and Cardinal Kasper has recently demonstrated this concerning other matters-might not have progressed this far.

We certainly need a strong counter-statement on this or we can definitely say that the title of this thread can no longer be considered speculative.

When I consider PF the expression forked tongue comes to mind. It's sad but I tend to ignore what he says and I am never surprised, not any more. On the other hand people who have been sailing along thinking everything is OK are starting to wake up and are quite upset by all of this. Of course it's no problem at all for all the 'catholics' in this country who voted for abortion. They now feel completely justified.

Our Holy Father never ever fails to shock and disappoint.

Recently though I find feelings of total horror arising.

The less I consider him and his various abominable goings on the better off I feel.

I did notice something about Devout, Holy, Rosary swinging Joe though. At the laugh in back slapping session with the Holy Father he carried himself with the kind of jaunty, I've got it made- the Pope's got my back- pride.

I suspect very strongly that Joe is fully devil possessed.displaying arrogance I might expect of a living demon.

I wonder if his ramblings might be because of this instead of pure dementia?

In either case the only thing I really wonder about the gruesome twosome is which of the two is the most totally evil. My money would be on the Holy Father. But I'm not quite sure.

Watching the two of them together is almost too much to take. I tend to suppress my feelings about Pope Francis, like a child who puts their hands over their ears when they don't want to hear something upsetting. :( As far as Biden goes, dementia or not, I can't help but see evil in his black, squinting eyes. I cannot stand the man.

I’m not sure who is more evil in their effect on the world, but certainly, PF’s influence on Catholics worldwide is greater. God help us….

It is a basic Catholic principle that when the best become bad they become the worst.
A bad Pope is therefore the bottom of the bottom.

It doesn't get any worse than this.

Though an evil US President is pretty far down there too.

I find praying for them helps. But best of all is not to think about them at all. I really, really try not to. I just find it all too upsetting.

    It's a great pain.

    Job 21:7

Our elites, whether they be of the Church or of our political leadership, remind me more and more of the Pharisees from the time of Our Lord, equivocating on the Law of Moses and disporting their self-appointed 'holiness' in the front of the Temple, for all the world to see. We recently heard a pharisaical cardinal declare that the elites who introduce and facilitate abortion commit no sin, and we now face the possibility that even our pope believes the same-it seems only the plebs commit sin. Our Lord devoted a good part of His ministry on Earth to criticising and correcting the Pharisees. If He is provoked to call game over by the actions of our modern pharisees, we know they won't get to crucify him again-He will come again In Power and the game will unequivocally be up.

God holds off from bringing them to Judgement because of their great evil; so that growing even further in evil their Judgement when it comes will be all the more terrible.

Boy have they ever got it coming...

The Vicar of Christ stands before God for all the people--whether they belong to the Church or not. I am choosing my words carefully here. We are in a real danger zone I fear. Much much prayer is needed. Many many Rosaries. These terrible volcanic disruptions in LA Palma are a visual of what is going on in the heavenlies. More and more I look at what God did in the OT when idolatry took over the chosen people. He was patient in calling them back. Merciful and patient. But then came "the terrible swift sword". I do not understand this blindness in so much of the hierarchy. They can see what is all about us. Where is the Holy fear? Where is the repentance? From all His Holy Church! We are the Israelites in the desert whining and complaining and fashioning golden calfs. It terrifies me. And I feel utterly helpless. We so desperately need a Holy Pontiff. Mother Mary Refuge of sinners pray for us. Our Lady of Prompt Succor pray for us. St Michael defend us. St Joseph pray for us. St John Paul II pray for us.

    LUKE 12: 39-48
    39"
But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

    41
Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?

    42
The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? 43 It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. 44 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 45 But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. 46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.

    47
“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."

Ann, your comments express my exact sentiments . I too am fearful of making a wrong judgment with my words. I certainly feel Biden not only has dementia, but additionally, he is evil. Regarding the Pope, I cannot make a judgment of his heart, but I feel his words and actions result in evil. His appointments/ comments, etc. lead to evil consequences.

I pray that God guides us, because we can’t trust the hierarchy. Far too many are involved in evil behavior…not just ordinary sin, real evil. We are in desperate need of spiritual guidance and there is none to be found.
I desperately hope that while the “ warning “ will not be a pleasant experience, the world has never needed it more.
