PF…I’m not 100% sure of any apparitions except Fatima, but I do believe there is a strong case for the others. I also accept those approved by the church….and I’m hopeful that those not yet approved, will eventually be approved... if authentic.
If not, I’ll dismiss them. Those that are authentic are truly a gift to our faith, but not a requisite. Faith itself is a gift and I appreciate, but do not need enhancements of it re apparitions. I guess because of the “times” we are living in, the apparitions and prophecies have taken on a greater than ever relevance relative to our faith. I pray that the “warning “ ( if there is one), does occur soon particularly because I will see my soul and make the needed adjustments to hopefully attain heaven. I have loved ones who do not have faith and if the warning does occur, I believe that will be their saving grace….for everyone.

Michael, much of what you’ve said is true. I have reservations for the same reasons as you. I could be wrong here, but I think Garabandal has not be accepted nor rejected by the church as yet because the said prophecies have not yet manifested…( to be authenticated) . Re the “warning “….perhaps I’m wrong here too, but I think that other mystics have prophesied a warning as well…?

Conchita is aging and if the warning doesn’t occur in her lifetime, I really would personally lose faith in the warning . I’d like to see it happen, but my faith does not hinge on any apparition. Fatima is in my opinion, 100%.
I was blessed to see the miracle of the sun on the feast day of the miracle almost twenty years ago at a outdoor rosary cenacle/ mass. As much as I’m am eternally grateful for that “ gift”, my faith is not based on it…it was truly just a gift.

I have been to Garabandal and I believe in the apparitions. I went to Mass in the small chapel and it was beautiful. Not too many people but very devout, praying the rosary. St Padre Pio and St Mother Theresa of Calcutta believed in the apparitions. But what is important is that it is bringing Catholics to pray the rosary, and receive the Eucharist.

Fatima carries substantial evidence of its authenticity. Likewise, Lourdes and the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Sometimes, it requires the passage of time for events to become clear; there might also be physical evidence, as in the extraordinary case of St. Juan Diego's tilma.

Of course, this is only dealing with reality in the objective sense. The subjective experience of reality by individuals is another matter entirely.

Poor, poor man. I must try and pray for him every single day between now and end. The thought of any soul being thrown into hell is truly terrible...but a Pope!

How strange when I think of it, several Popes seem to have died of the same kind of cancer, for instance Pope St John 23rd and Pope Pius xII. A very hard death. Pope Pius's last words were, 'Mama!' (which some interpret to mean a reference to the Blessed Mother, some to his earthly mother).

if the pope had this disease in the intestine (as suggested by the last surgery) would he not be using a colostomy bag?

There is a message on Countdown To The Kingdom from Eduardo Ferreria which was give to him by Our Lady on October 13th. She told him that the time of Francis is coming to the end and to pray for the one who is to come. Maybe someone could copy it on here. I'm not able to do so.

Perhaps he saw his mother, waiting to accompany him (sorry for the use of that particular phrase, but it's appropriate in this context) to Heaven?

Anyway, Our Lord advised us 'to become like little children', did He not? I presume this would apply even to popes.

I would suppose it would be quite common for people to call for their mummy when they are dying. They don't call it , 'The Death Agony', for nothing.:)

However on the other hand the appearance of Our Lady at death bed scenes is not uncommon. Several Catholic Devotions make promises of Our Lady's intervention at the hour of Death if we stay Faithful to them.

Every single time we say a , 'Hail Mary' , we speak of the, 'Hour of our Death'.

I often think of Death and Judgement is the Final Accounting Bill ..all that we have been in life we are about to become Eternally. There is nothing so sobering as a Bad Death scene were the Demons come to claim a soul as their own and drag it off to hell. Such an event is sometimes surrounded by praeternatural activity. I have read accounts of several Doctors who have been converted on seeing such dreadful goings on'

'The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.'

'The Fool has said in his heart , there is no God'.

What greater consolation and Blessed assurance as we lie, dying, on our Last Cross, than the knowledge that we have had a Devotion to Our Blessed Mother? No soul soul that loves her has, or ever could be, lost.:)

    Beautiful!
When my cousin was dying she called out, Grandma, Grandma.
I know she saw our very devout grandmother who had gone on in death in 1971.

Eduardo – The Time of Francis Ending?
Our Lady, Rosa Mystica, Queen of Peace to Eduardo Ferreira on October 13th, 2021:

Peace. On this special day, [1] I invite you to prayer, fasting, sacrifices and penance with one voice, asking the Father for clemency and so that there would be repentance. No countries will escape Divine Justice. Pray for priests and missionaries. The time of the successor of Peter is coming to an end. [2] Pray much for the one who is coming. Mercy is at your door. [3] Never doubt this apparition. I am the Mystical Rose, Queen of Peace. With love I bless you.

    Footnotes

    1. Anniversary of the apparition at Fatima, Portugal
    2. Since there are two living successors to Peter still alive (Francis and Emeritus Benedict XVI), it is uncertain who is referred to here. However, given the next phrase: “the one who is coming”, it may suggest that after the end of Pope Francis’ reign, an anti-pope will claim the seat of Peter (note: an anti-pope is someone who is not canonically elected and therefore an illegitimate successor). It may also refer to a legitimate successor as well.
    3. This could be a reference to the “Warning” or “illumination of conscience”, which several seers have communicated is nearing (see The Great Day of Light). Given the previous sentence, it could also be a reference to a legitimately elected pontiff who needs the strength of the Church’s prayers.

I am uncertain of the correctness of the interpretation of this message.

If the next Pope were an anti- Pope, why would we 'Pray for him'? I took it as simply an exhortation to pray for whoever is to be next Pope.

Does anyone else read it that way?

I am not sure of the prudence of speaking of anti-Popes before the guy is even elected.
