Alert: Volcano eruption in La Palma could result in mega-tsunami

    I been following this mostly through the updates of John and Brian (thanks!). But, tbh, it’s been with a eye could this cause a tsunami that can effect me and my family (certainly to be prudent). But reading this post about the devastation already to the people living here has made me a bit ashamed of myself- I’ve not offered sincere prayer for them. So at this moment, I offer my morning prayer for the economic (thank God - no human loss ) losses caused by this eruption. And earnestly pray that Our Lady intercede here.

    The dogs have been saved...

    A mysterious group that calls itself the “A Team” has claimed responsibility today for rescuing the dogs that had been left trapped by the lava from the new volcano on the Canary Island of La Palma, and that were due to be rescued by a Spanish company using drones. That’s according to a message that was left at the site on a white sheet in red lettering, that stated: “Be strong La Palma, the dogs are fine.”

    A rain forecast for northern La Palma has triggered concerns about torrents of water that could form over the water-resistant lava, said the National Security Department (DNS). In Tazacorte, one of the hardest-hit municipalities, there is a 95% chance of rain on Saturday, according to the national weather service Aemet. Officials from the Canaries Volcano Risk Prevention Plan (Pevolca), which is overseeing the crisis, have advised residents to clean the ash off their rooftops to prevent it from mixing with the rain and creating a heavy buildup that could damage structures.

    The DNS report also notes that lava streams in the northwest have now merged and appear to be heading in a southwest direction. Another tongue of lava that is near the sea was just 100 meters from the shoreline on Thursday morning, raising concerns about the toxic clouds that could form on contact.

    oh these poor people, losing their homes, belongings, and a lot of them, their income….
    Being displaced is bad enough….and this is not over. Give them grace oh Lord.

    St. Michael the Archangel is the patron saint of Tazacorte. His statue is in the middle of the town. GutnTog has a short video showing the statue. Needless to say, his videos showing the inside of the church in Santa Cruz and the one of Tazacorte attracted the usual smears about idolatry and Mary and the Saints being dead. The Rapture crowd are all over social media coverage of this volcano. If they're all like that, I'm not surprised that they get such bad press. In some ways, they're as bad as the anti all religion crowd.

    Anyway, May St. Michael protect the people of Tazacorte.

    But then sister we are the totally nuts crowd aren't we, the world we live in is the anything goes world that is as long as it doesn't involve Christ..we must always stand firm in the truth...lets scream to this sewer pit that we live in Yes Im insane Im totally nuts about Christ and everything about him.. the battle cry is quite simple in the face of evil hold that shield high and proclaim WHO IS LIKE UNTO GOD....     Wow go bear...Thats the first time I seen him step forward in faith at the end of his video..I had a heart felt feeling he belonged to God I just knew it....:love::love::love::love:

    I’ve seen him do this several times now. I think someone said he does it on Friday and observes the Sabbath on Saturday so he doesn’t usually do a video on Saturday. So he’s either some form of Seventh Day Adventist or observant Jew. He has a certain Grace about him, that much is given.
