Yes Miker….there are many paths for reparation….and some cannot do a food fast. I’m glad you reminded us that there are other great options ( if you wanna call fasting/suffering great)…. But the end result is
But that’s the goal we are all supposed to go for….and it is something…especially for this long. No, this is absolutely amazing to me and a great example…thank you!
Have you ever heard of or tried Cornell Bread? it's what I call my "fasting bread". It was created by a nutritionist at Cornell University, when the State of New York asked him to come up with a more nutritious bread to serve in state institutions, like hospitals and prisons. Simply put, the dogs he fed store-brought white bread died after a month on that diet, regardless of how much they were fed. The dogs eating Cornell Bread, on the other hand, lived indefinitely and did not suffer any of the nutritional deficits you might expect.
Oh well, let's see. My wife had gestational diabetes each of the three times, this really worries me. She has never been on medication but this time I think it may be better if she did go on meds. Let's see what the doctors will say. I am a bit worried, having more kids would probably exacerbate the problem. But thank you muchly! Thank you all for your congrats !! Many blessings to all of you. I didn't mean to derail this thread. I will fast on Fridays and do one thing better according to my state in life as a worker and husband (I have two concrete resolutions).
I used to make this bread when my children were young. I still have the recipe. Its packed with nutrition.
