But there (in the strange big church) all the work was being done mechani cally (i.e. according to set rules and formulae). Many predict war, bloodshed, and persecutions right in the Vatican. But also nlany say that '"it will not last long" and that "help will come when everything seems hopeless."
This is very disturbing and heart breaking. All I can think of is Jesus's words about the end times "because of the great evil of those days the love of many will grow cold"
Over the last few months Conchitas recent message (kindly posted here by Glenn) has grown on me so to speak. I find it extraordinarily relevant for our times . God is detaching us from the securities of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our house, we are now able to make an examination of conscience so we can clean what prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. With sincerity we can ask God to tell us what He wants of us today, and continue to do that every day. And spend as much time as possible with God at church or somewhere in your home or where you find the silence. He is all we need." March 19,2020
This is exactly where we are. The power that “ they” have now taken may never be revoked. If they succeed in this, as it appears they have, we may never be free again. This is a turning point in the history of the world….the spiritual implications are historic. I believed that the Garabandal prophecy that cites, “ when communism is at its worse” may be fast approaching. This is the turning point spiritually.
Yes, “God is detaching us from the securities of this world”…. I’m praying I have the moral courage to honor my faith. We need immense grace…I cannot do it otherwise.
This morning g from my cleaning lady: the government is right to mandate. I did what I was supposed to do. They are just stubborn. Trying to explain loss of rights and government overreach falls on deaf ears. God have mercy on us all. This is not the bad old days of the soviets when the Russian people had it forced on them. This is the time of the Nazis when a whole nation minus a few stalwart heroes--embraced it totally. I can't believe it as I watch it unfold. Like a bad dream.
Fr Gobbi in 1983 told a group of us that Our Lady told him a time was coming when EVERY institution would fail. And the only safe place would be in her Immaculate Heart. She would keep us there as in an enclosed garden.

And now Pope Francis is heading for Slovakia, to the poorest neighborhood of all Eastern Europe. So, his agenda is to focus on the poorest of the poor. There is nothing wrong with that. Our John Paul II, did the same and also visited. So confusing. I pray he cares genuinely for the poor. And that his vague views are being used by God to wake up those who have been complacent for too many years.
Last evening my husband and I were eating at a local crab house. Two women near us were discussing the pandemic implications and were saying that it’s time to get our spiritual houses in order. So, not everyone is blinded.
