Hi Everyone, Australia (on the whole) has taken the bait, drinking the cool aid with gusto. The entire of NSW (the most populated State in Australia) has been in lockdown for a week. My children in Sydney have been in lockdown for eight weeks and there seems to be no let up of any of the draconian measures! in fact they increase daily. We are now under Marshall law and can not drive more than 5 Kilometres from our place of residence and an extra 800 Defence force personnel are now engaged in "helping" the police patrol the roads to catch the naughty Jews who dare stray from their allocated concentration camp (their home, at the moment) with heavy fines up to $10000 for travelling over 5 kilometres, and there are many brown shirt enforcers with average citizen allies dobbing on their neighbours! I would never have thought this "Nazi socialism" could have taken place in Australia let alone with such compliance "from the average man on the street"! Please pray for us. I have had my daughter from Newcastle and her children here since just before the lockdown of the entire hunter/Newcastle region but now it is dangerous for her to be recognised as from the hunter region and so we are really trying to reduce any exposure she and her children have to the outside world. Its truly scary! Where are all the patriotic Australians? Have they gone somewhere that I don't know of? Who are we to follow in their stead? Our Lord Jesus is the only answer in NSW Australia! Carolyn i am devastated to read this. I will pray for all of you at Mass this morning. Poor Australia. I always thought iv it as a fiercely independent very manly country. But fear is a great manipulator. I expect other countries to implement these controls if they can get away with it. Sadly the science doesn't back them up. So many MDs and epidemiologist say the best way to get to herd immunity is to keep going as normal as possible while protecting the most vulnerable. Chris Martinson on Peak Prosperity you tube channel just said we are we on our way to an endemic rather than a pandemic. In other words covid will be like the flu.. unpleasant and sometimes dangerous but we will live with it.. Dr Zdogg on you tube--another physician who is very balanced in his assessments says the same thing in his latest episode. This has little to do with real science. You are in my prayers.
I can totally totally relate. What is unfolding is truly unbelievable. I would have never thought this might happen with Australians, Irishmen, etc.
I am tearing up after reading your post Carolyn. I will be praying for Australia and especially for your family, and I will continue to pray for all of us. It does sound scary. PS- I have fond memories of Australia when I spent 2.5 weeks there in 1987. May Our Lady protect you under her mantle, God bless you all.+
Dear josephite, This is truly heartbreaking! I can’t believe this is occurring in your nation. Who would ever have thought….. This is scary because I can visualize this occurring in many nations now including my own. The government is succeeding in turning the people against one another with the vaxed against the un vaxed. And yes, I can understand your frustration wondering where the freedom patriots are! Perhaps this vaccine issue has been the one issue that has muted them. Please keep in mind that if God has allowed this by His permission will, that He is ultimately in control. It doesn’t mean that we will be spared sufferings josephite, but He is in control. I hope everyone here prays for you and for all nations that we do not surrender our freedoms or allow the government to take them away. Everyone is at the same risk here. Pray, pray and pray. Oh man. Praying. I've a long-time friend in Cairns (not in NSW). His wife had an emotional collapse when Biden "won." He said goodbye to us (a science message board). We haven't heard from him since. I'll Google for Cairns/COVID.
I cannot even imagine what it must be like Josephite. So frightening how far the government will go to control people. I will pray for your family’s protection. God help us all.
And just now reminded: Last evening in a grocery store. Quite a lot of masks (not required). A cute little girl, maybe 7 years old, masked like her mother, stared (benignly) in wonder at me. She raised her hand and waved. I smiled and waved back. Just after passing I heard the girl whisper, "Mom, she doesn't have a mask on." You know how little kids whisper LOUD. I expect mandatory masks again soon.
Truly appalling! You all will be in my prayers as you all always are. We in Canada are now going into an election which I fear will turn out like the USA. Dominion Voting Systems will manipulate votes as I believe they did last time for Trudeau to get back in with all his blackface and ethics violations. Our good countries have fallen to the NWO with this false pandemic and the only way we can fight back is if enough patriot people stand up. We had a massive march in Montreal against Covid Passports last weekend and need more of this and it makes we wonder as you, where are all the people to stand up against this? Me again. This doesn't surprise me. Until recently I'd thought we Americans -- most of us anyway -- were beyond weird / frightening reactions and irrational fear. Because of (still) being highly churched, lots of education, our Founding principles. WELL NOPE. I guess "stuff like this" is hardwired in us.
Mass hysteria=mass psychosis. Create fear and then morph it into us against them and then start "othering" people. No vaxx? Papers please. I read a chilling editorial on this showing point by point how this mimics the N*z* play book with the "undesirables".
Outside of God, we humans are hopeless. We DO repeat the same mistakes over and over ... and NOW, despite massive multi-media documentation of how to AVOID such things. It's been incredibly sobering to face it.
The “No Agenda” podcast had a very good segment on mass hysteria/ mass psychosis/ hypnosis on Sunday during the first hour. It’s worth a listen. These guys aren’t “Christian” by a long shot but they deconstruct the news better that anyone else.
I think what is happening and awareness of it has produced strange bedfellows. My husband's cousin who is totally new age and into shamans eek called to warn my husband about the NWO agenda and the dangers of the vax. My husband shut him off completely. Sad. Truth finds it way to the strangest places.
I have cousins in the Greek colony in Sydney, NSW. I have been hearing about the draconian measures. However, I don't think they believe the truth about all of this. I do receive occasional emails from them, nothing very promising. They are in their early eighties and probably scared to death. So you can certainly pray for them. Thank you. Praying for you and my Canadian friends…yes, it appears as though we are in the same boat. We in the USA could get worse. Biden is taking our nation down fast. World events might get significantly get much worse because of how he is failing. God have mercy!
