I was very touched by the question here and so was praying about it. The answer I got back was this: God want no one to be last. Not even a single solitary soul; during the Tribulation Process. I was shown a staircase, ascending upwards and was told that events during these times are like this. Consider the Virus and the Global Pandemic , for instance. On the one hand you might consider it very fierce and terrible, but not so. It is part of the gentle stair case. It gives people time to withdraw from material things and think and maybe even pray. It is God pressing the, 'Pause' button on the Video, forcing people to stop. Other facets of the current Tribulation such as the weather and increasing seismic activity are part of the general ascent. They give time for much thought and conversion. Now the Good God could just have hit us at the start of things with whammy events like, say, an asteroid hit or a world war. He has not done so. He is giving us time to convert. We must be spiritually ready for what is coming.
Thanks Booklady. This timeline is also a litmus test of present day unapproved supposed prophets. If they’re trying to sell an imminent coming of the antichrist, or any form of or concept resembling millenarianism - or any kind of new revelation for that matter - run away from them and their messages. They are not of supernatural origin.

Thank God for this forum! In times when there's so much sorrow and chaos around there's a refuge from like minded souls! I feel like we are in the boat with Jesus and the storms are surrounding us, we want to say "Jesus! Do you not see what's happening?" Yet, we should remain faithful and at peace within, because we know Who's in charge. It's so hard to keep our eyes on Jesus because we're surrounded by a storm, but in those small instances when we can focus on our Lord, it becomes easier and less fearful because we know we're not alone. Sadly those moments are few and far between. I know like everyone here and around me we're tired and awaiting a beautiful triumph. We may not live to see it but isn't this all a test anyway? And, if I may add, another wonderful book published by TAN, is Yves Dupont's Catholic Prophecy: The Coming Chastisement. Again, Hat Tip to Padraig who introduced it way back in 2014 or 2015, this one is tiny in comparison with Birch's book, but it is very useful in understand the eschatology of the chastisement. He lists the main signs that have to occur, on page 89, along with those of St. Alphonse di Liguori, and Birch goes over these on the video, they are the same. Ok thanks! Early in this video Fr. Heilman mentions being in a small Facebook private group with Desmond. This is the little Facebook group of about a dozen members that I was also privileged to be part of. It also included a professor of systematic theology at one of the Newman colleges. Great discussions of approved private revelations. I had read Desmond’s book years ago, but learned more in their group.
Yes, I read that years ago too, prior to reading Desmond’s book. Interestingly, DuPont had a rad trad Catholic outlook very early on in the 1970’s, long before the modern Traditional Catholic movement, and that can clearly be seen in some of the commentary in his book.

Geralyn and I have flexibility; our kids are the ones who have moved away; my priest sons are in submission to wherever their superiors send them, but none of their potential assignments are close, except NYC, which is still 5 hrs. I have a fundamental commitment of a few more years of diaconate ministry before I can ask to be free to seek out another diocese. So where I am is where we'll be until at least 2025. Its true we find the Will of God in the day to day in the everyday calling of our duties in life. Few of us are called to do exceptional things but , rather, to do ordinary things exceptionally, in other words with great love.
