I may be wrong (and I hope I am wrong) but I fear this coming Winter may tell a tale -- A covid resurgence, a new 'scariant' that allows governments to crack down and introduce digital covid passports for buying and selling. Will the vaccinated suffer if there is a 'wild variant' of disease even a flu through antibody dependent enhancement? Schools, businesses shut, even martial law to control the population -- The girls of Garabandal on the 'Night of the Screams' saw something terrible that would happen before the warning like a pre-tribulation. Their screams were so loud and stressed that almost all villagers went to confessions the next day. What did they see?
I wouldn't dispute this worst case scenario. I fear it too.. But....Prayers around the world are ongoing. More and more people are awaking from their spiritual slumber so perhaps there will be yet another reprieve. But how patient God has been. How merciful! How long will He hold back? That is the question. I had such a strong dread over the pachamama horror. Such a sense of a line being crossed and so did many Catholic exorcists. If you recall they asked for a day of prayer and fasting in reparation on Dec 8 of that year. When the pope himself knowingly or unknowingly publicly insults the Mother of Jesus then what must follow? As Sister Lucy said "Our Lord is a good Son..." I don't think this insult goes unanswered.
I don’t know the answer to this question but it is good to raise it. And imo, the physical realities you suggest I do think are likely to happen. So, all I can think to do is get more spiritual prepared- while I still can- frequent confession and Communion. And yes, prep with material “things” but also spiritual sacramentals- holy water, exorcism oils, blessed salt, etc, etc. I feel it’s getting ready for a battle- a spiritual one.
Amazing that just after you posted, the AHA is mandating vaccines… it’s starting… https://www.healthexec.com/topics/c...tm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=he_news_alert
To tell you the truth, I'd rather not know. It will come soon enough. Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day.
We are in a quandary as to whether to try and get isolated in the boonies or stay in our small town. Should we flee to the hills or stay put? I am at peace with staying put but my hubby keeps saying that God may be sending us a message by hearing all these things are coming and we aren't preparing (by fleeing). The thought of fleeing is a huge endeavor (we have 4 of our 6 kids in town, one is BPD and the others have anxiety, our son-in-law has a blood disorder and of course my hubby just had a heart attack so... what to do? You can see what's coming!
Ask Our Lady for a Sign. Do so through fasting and prayer and quietly and trustfully waiting for her answer (the both of you). Meditate on the Flight of the Holy Family into Egypt. Let St Joseph be your special friend in this. For what it's worth I suspect its a little soon to be doing any fleeing just yet...though I suppose it might depend on just what of the world you're living in.
You are correct but we don't have till winter, month or 2 at the most before we're locked down again, the chaos is building quickly
Funny enough Bobby I was talking about this coming winter just yesterday I kinda knew we were in for a very hot spell but I've had a hunch that this winter will be fierce just a very very deep gut feeling.
I really hope you’re right in this. To say I’m not “ready” is an understatement. I’m more physically ready than psychologically and spiritually than I had hoped.
I’m in same boat Brian. I’m making more concrete effort each day to start with Morning Office, trying to get to daily Mass, weekly confession, and getting my sacramentals. I guess in short I’m walking as best I can. Prayers for all.
Brian - I am the same - I had always hoped to live a nice, quiet life and realise having lived a life of relative comfort I am far from ready to face the tribulation. In addition, I am so attached to my family that my whole life revolves around them that I can hardly up sticks and move away.
I know what you are feeling--the urge to flee to the boonies is a sensible plan for such times but...and it is a big "but"-- you are needed where you are. And remember the saying "the only safe place to be is in the Will of God." If God means you to leave ask Him for an unambiguous sign showing you need to go. If He means you to stay ask for a sign making that very clear. I truly believe He will show you.
We all fear we are from ready to face the full blown tribulation. But I truly believe we will be given the grace as needed.
When I asked God for a sign last Fall concerning this very thing, I looked up and on the wall of the place I was at, right in front of my face, there was a plaque that said, "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” This quote from Joshua began popping up everywhere over the next several days.... It was pretty amazing. If God wants you to go somewhere, He will make it clear. He doesn't leave us fumbling about, with our peace disturbed as we search for answers. Place it in God's hands, and stay put unless He drops something in your lap. He loves childlike trust. And whether you stay, or wherever you go, He will be with you, ready to supply you with all you need.
It’s important to realize that we’re not facing the “Major Chastisement” or end times tribulation. We seem to be on the cusp of the minor chastisement, which will be capped by the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, an Era of Peace and a heretofore unforeseen flowering of Holy Mother Church. It will be the time of the Great Monarch and Holy Pope. We don’t know how long that era will last but at the end of it will be the coming of the antichrist. We are NOT on the verge of the coming of the antichrist. We are just at the beginning of the end times, not at the end of the end times. Too much still has to happen before we get to the end of the end and the coming of the antichrist. THAT is when it will be time to head for the hills. Not now. Not yet.
Although it is known as the minor or lesser tribulation it will still be terrible. It will be the end of this age as we transition into a period of peace
