Jose, If God wants us to know something, He can infused millions of years of knowledge in a split second. Trying to make anyone who is not an expert on all scientific theories look "stupid" is not very nice. I only asked if you would give scripture a look on this subject, and you said you would not. When you asked where it said anything about giants and peoples other than Adam and Eve, I could only come to the conclusion that you had never sat down and read it. I dspoke no different than you did to me. If I were on a science forum looking "stupid" I would be wasting everyone's time. I am on a forum of supposed believers, who listen to God first before men. I'm still not understanding what you are trying to say in all this talk, so will stop bothering. Peace.

Sorry if I gave this impression. This was not at all my intention. I just offered my knowledge as scientist and my faith as believer to show you that, contrary to what is maintained by creationists and some catholics, the two are not incompatible (as our Church teaches). Up in till then, Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel. Cain was banished. They had more children. Cain's linage was the 'ANTI-GOD' linage....

Those who followed SHEM were called SHEM-ITES, to be 'for God', those who were of HAM'S LINAGE became ANTI-SHEM-ITES---which means ' to go against the 'name above all names' which later translated to ANTI-SEMITE (against the Jews) who were the Chosen people of God....
Everyone who stayed faithful to the NAME (the authority to the the tribe of Judah) became the Jews. Every other person who broke away became the enemies of the Jews. The Jews BECAME ISRAEL.


SHEM'S status is NON-negotiable. Just like the priesthood for men is NON-negotiable. He was chosen by God for this linage and he said --YES.




God told Abram to go to UR. This place is where all his family who hate him lives! He believes in God's promises. He is 75 and going into the land of the enemy. He believes that he will receive the blessing and the ability to give life through God to man. All reality rests on the FATHER / SON PARADIGM... man will now have free access to GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!




Abraham made Sari his sister (this was a half-truth)--so he would not be killed by the Pharaoh. In those timesAS NOW--a woman when she becomes a wife is MADE wife, sister, mother, spouse, servant.


Abram never loses trust in God, but in prayer says, "I'm frustrated, I have no child. If I die, my servant will become my heir. " (which is how they did it in those days.)
It takes RADICAL TRUST. God has Abram go outside and look at the stars in the sky. (It was dusk) and God explains that his descendants will be slaves for 400 years and as numerous as the stars.

Now Abram is 99th Generation. Sari (who now sounds like Eve speaking!) says since she cannot have a child, she thinks she is going to HELP OUT GOD....(because she is not patient, not trusting). She has her maid-servant Hagar sleep with Abram and she has a baby 'Ishmel'.

GOD IS NOT INTERESTED IN PATRIARCHY OR MATRIARCHY--HE IS INTERESTED IN ISRAEL DOING WHAT HE NEEDS. IS THERE A SHORTCUT? NO....(Sari thought so) and pulled Abram along with her...(sound familiar?). They don't have faith that GOD WILL FOLLOW THROUGH!

Abram was about 86 yrs. old. He DID NOT lead the way he was suppose to as HEAD OF THE FAMILY. In Genesis 17 God appears to Abram when he is 99 yrs. old (God was mad at him) "I AM GOD ALMIGHTY! WALK BEFORE ME AND BE BLAMELESS--(Go and sin no more!). Genesis 17:2- ...be blameless, I will make a covenant between ME and you. I will multiply your descendants...

Abram repented and fell on his face. He is now named Abraham [ We now go from the covenant of the family to the covenant of Nations...] Abraham means EXALTED FATHER. REV: 2:17 SAYS-"He who has an ear 'our name is our 'exalted name' The only name we have merit in'...!

Sari now becomes Sarah (they are united in marriage and become ONE). When Abraham falls on his face he laughs and says, "Shall a man who is 90 and a woman who is 90 bear a son?! Let Ishmael be the only one." GOD SAYS NO! (Look at Abraham! He has fallen again! He is STILL questioning God...!) God says, "You shall bear a son and name him Isaac which means "laughter."

God speaks and says, "Sarah your wife..." precursor to BVM--Marriage comes first then God made her conceive.

Ishmael (who was Egyptian was NOT OF A SACRED MARRIAGE) and he was 13 yrs. old and all men in the household including Abraham were circumcised. ISHMAEL WILL BE BLESSED BY GOD BECAUSE HE WAS BORN OF ABRAHAM BUT NOT OF THE LINAGE OF THE COVENANTED PROMISE.


Isaac was 8 days old--Christ died on the 7th day--he rose into the eternal kingdom on the 8th day. Symbolically foreshadowing the 'NEW KINGDOM ON EARTH'.

The mitochondrial studies only can tell you that the modern human race did not develop from different humanoid species. Yes, we, modern humans, all share the same mitochondrial lineage but this mitochondria should have also been in the common ancestors to human and apes. And?

 

The same way as you - you weren't informed on that. When you will( and me, too) we may continue the subject.

For now it is only US who have a direct single mithochondrial lineage.

 

Until you find that mythological "and" it is ONLY humans.

But this is different to say that every mitochondrial DNA comes from only ONE woman. Nope, sir. It comes from the same common ancestor and no way to know if the split came from one single person or a group or even if there was at same point some mixture of close related human species. What is is almost sure is that all started in Africa.

No angels never married humans, i don't know where this idea came from. I was reading up on this a few weeks back.. Giants and angels suddenly appearing in this are new to me.

I was not referring to human mithochondrial lineage, which is known to be from one woman ( otherwise the others would have to be her identical twins, which, in human recorded history happened in 5 the most and not everybody survived until the reproductive age), but to your joke about a dog.

So far nobody detected single universal mithochondrial lineage for the dogs.

And forgive me, that I am not buying the word play - no, it does not come from the single woman, it comes from the common( which means - for everybody THE SAME)ancestor, which has to be a woman, because that how we inherit it
