http://our-lady-priests.blogspot.com/2015/10/our-lady-priests-1989.html?m=1 correcting, Father gobbi's extensive message of June 17, 1989 mentions a false Christ and false Church for 1998, not explicitly an antipope.
It has a questionable origin that can’t be verified. In other words, it’s not documented. At least, that is my current understanding. I am willing to stand corrected.
Thank you kindly. Reference: Works of the seraphic father St. Francis of Assisi, Published by R. Washbourne in 1882, pages 248 ff.
I happened to listen to Anthony Stein, Return to Tradition tonight on this subject matter. He said that Francis chose The feast day of our Lady of mount caramel, which I guess he offen chooses to do these not so nice things in the church on Feast days. But that it was also the 967th anniversary of the great schism that split the Catholic Church from the Eastern Orthodox. I found that to be interesting. He also mentioned the prophecy of Saint Francis. Anthony is a pretty reliable guy. So, it seems the prophecy is true. https://anchor.fm/anthony-stine/episodes/Cardinal-Burke--Bishops-Respond-To-Franciss-Attack
unfortunately it will work for now, if you understand the motives behind this move But down the road, yes indeed it will backfire as God has a better plan.
This is highly regarded as inclusive. This is highly regarded as divisive. And this . . . . is your brain on drugs
It had been decades since I had experienced a High Latin Mass, Ananchal, and then about four years ago(?) one was celebrated with organ , Gregorian Chant, etc, right at my home parish. For me, I simply knelt there in silence, no missal, absorbing the smell of incense, the ritual action, and the chant. A holy hour of prayer, for sure. Obviously, not every TLM is celebrated with such solemnity, but the beauty has lingered in my memory. Worship the Lord in holy attire!
Hmmm…seems there was indeed a motu proprio affecting Summorum Pontificum and the TLM after all during my sabbatical, eh?!
Just a thought, for most of my life, u til later in St JPII's life I knew of the TLM in my diocese (perhaps everywhere) as the "underground Mass". I had only heard it referred as that. Yet I knew from asking my parents very early on, that was the TLM. I was born in '66.
