No Catholic has ever had to deal with two men dressed in papal white living in the Vatican at the same time.

Alleluia! Alleluia! Our Diocesan Bishop, Douglas Lucia, personally called up my pastor, Fr. Schultz, yesterday. He told him not to worry, he has my pastor's back; Fr. Schultz still has no restrictions on celebrating the TLM!:ROFLMAO:

Safe in the Barque of Peter!

I suspect that you are being very, very innocent about all this, as indeed the Holy Father and his confreres intended.

For a more considered take view the below short video. We are dealing with a cunning and ruthless foe. It is not at the end of the day about simply Liturgy, it is about Theology as Pope Benedict point out.

I don't know if this question is absurd, but as the decree prevents the flourishing of new groups that celebrate the Tridentine Mass, could there be an expansion of the divine liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom as a way to bring together those who love the liturgical tradition prior to the Council?

So far as Pope Francis is concerned we could all dance naked with broomsticks round a bonfire as a Liturgy. He proved this with the Pachamama idol worship.

He doesn't give a fig about Latin or no Latin. His real concern is to shut down those who oppose his Really, really, revolutionary, straight from the bowels of hell, paradigm.

Namely Traditionalist Catholics whom he really, really hopes and is doing his very, very best to drive into Schism.

The big white hope in all this, as far as The Holy Father and his really, really revolutionary comrades are concerned, is to drive people crazy and into schism.

The Vatican is gas lighting like there is no tomorrow.

    Don_D ¡Viva Cristo Rey!

It's also a mighty glaring coincidence that two months after the pachamama nightmare churches ALL OVER THE WORLD were CLOSED for months!

Correct. The norms, instructions, permissions, and customs, etc. surrounding the Latin Mass as they had been established under Pope Benedict XVI are abrogated, not the Mass itself.

    Agreed. (y)

From day one I have always said it was, in my opinion, a huge mistake for Pope Emeritus Benedict to retain the Papal white along with all of the other assorted Papal paraphernalia he has kept using.

Its not the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, Latin or non Latin that is the target in the first place. They'll get to that a little later.

It is Belief in the Mass that is the target...and those who believe in the Mass.

    That's the End Game.

This is a Shell Game, don't be fooled.

After dumping the Traditonalists they'll move on downwards to change the Liturgy to were the Mass is no longer the Mass.

    Watch this space.

But they really, really needed to off load the Trads first.

Innocent is not a word that should be used to describe me Padraig lol.

I know exactly what they are aiming for, and I think it is a huge mistake to attempt to destroy the Mass of Ages in this way. If I had my way there would only be one Mass and it would be the Tridentine.

I think we are just past the point where there is anything we can do about it. Only Heaven can get us out of this now. The cardinals and bishops, except a very, very few aren't going to do anything to right the ship.

Yes but God tends to use men to accomplish his ends. Witness the incarnation, St Joan of Arc, the counter Reformation, the great saints and so on. We should be alert to this.

I always loved the Maccabbees. Let us trust in God , but keep our muskets dry, as they say.:)

I agree, God typically raises up men or women to use to accomplish His aims on Earth, like possibly the Great Pope to come. I wonder though if this time it may be different. Perhaps no one will come and that is why we must suffer the Three Days Of Darkness. On the other side of that great calamity, once we have returned to our senses, then maybe the Great Pope will come. I think that is the order Birch puts it in. We will see. It is like the Chinese curse, may you live in interesting times.

    It may well be.

A Great Pope is on the way.

But God may very well have to take a sledge hammer to the door first.

I just thought of something, this motu proprio was released on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, my first thought was of the Fatima apparitions, and how Our Lady of Mount Carmel appeared last to the Three Shepherd Children on October 13th; I thought, and still do believe, that this is meant to emphasize the Brown Scapular, Mental Prayer and in general a strong effort for personal holiness, and trusting in God and Our Lady. But then I remembered something else, Pacha-not-our-mama, and the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tráspontina. Do you think there is some connection between all of this? And that there might be more here than just a call to Mental Prayer?

It was noted in another thread that the sword of St. Michael that reaches from Ireland to Israel has at its tip Mount Carmel, Our Lady's holy mountain, rich with so much history and spiritual significance back to the time of Elijah. In the 3rd Fatima secret, Mary showed the children an angel (St. Michael?) holding a flaming sword, poised to strike the earth in punishment, but when it came in contact with the light from her hand, it was extinguished. I think Our Lady of Mt Carmel is Mary's richest and dearest title, because she was first honored by Elijah on that mountain... When he saw the little white cloud that came from the sea and settled over the mountain, bringing rain to save the Israelites from a deadly famine due to his prayers at Mt. Carmel, he took it as a symbol of the virgin prophesied to come and bring the Redeemer. His followers prayed on the mountain for the coming of this virgin. So not only has the intercession of Mary been prayed for longer in connection with Mt. Carmel than any other of her titles, but that was a precursor to both the Incarnation and the coming Triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart.

The Great Schism began on July 16. The murder of the Romanov family by the Bolsheviks ushering in the Soviet Union took place on July 16.
The Mass of the Ages is restricted now on July 16.

It's Satan engaging in his great battle with the Virgin. And we know who wins. Mary is going to reunite the East with the West. She's going to rid the world of communism once and for all. And she is going to restore our Church to its proper glory, a fitting bride for Christ.

Beautiful we did a little pilgrimage to an outdoor statue down by the ocean to our Lady of Mt Carmel. My friend invited us to celebrate the Feast Day.
Tomorrow we are going to a Latin mass. I assume it is still valid.
