TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY June 23 ,1962 A LETTER FROM MARI LOLI & JACINTA "The Virgin has told us that the world continues the same, that it has not changed at all, that few will see God. There are so few that it causes the Virgin much sorrow that it does not change. The Virgin has told us that the chastisement is coming; [as] the world is not changing, the cup is filling up. How sad the Virgin was! Although she did not let us see it, because the Virgin loves us [so much] and she suffers alone, since she is so good. Be good, everyone so that the Virgin will be happy. She has told us that we who are good should pray for those who are bad; we should pray to God for the world, for those who do not know Him. Be good, [be] very good." Glenn, What do you think they actually saw on the Night of the Screams - the pre-Tribulation period before the Warning? Was it an invasion? Was it lots of people dying? Was it closed churches and persecutions? Or a combination of all of the above?
This information from Loli was contained in messages bearing her signature that were presented to Maria Saraco and published in 1970 by Fernand Corteville in his newsletter L'Impartial (No.31): In spite of continuing to see the Virgin, (during the Nights of the Screams) we saw a great multitude of people who were suffering intensely and screaming in terror. The Blessed Virgin explained to us that this great tribulation, which was not even the Chastisement, would come because a time would arrive when the Church would appear to be on the point of perishing. It would pass through a terrible trial. We asked the Virgin what this great trial was called and she told us it was «Communism». Then she showed us how the great Chastisement for all mankind would come, and that it would come directly from God. At a certain moment, not a single motor or machine would function; a terrible heat wave will strike the earth and men will begin to feel a great thirst. In desperation they will seek water, but this will evaporate from the heat. Then almost everyone will despair and they will seek to kill one another. But they will lose their strength and fall to the ground. Then it will be understood that it is God alone Who has permitted this. Then we saw a crowd in the midst of flames. The people ran to hurl themselves into the lakes and seas. But the water seemed to boil, and instead of putting out the flames, it seemed to enkindle them even more. It was so horrible that I asked the Blessed Virgin to take all the young children with her before all this happened. But the Virgin told us that by the time it came, they would all be adults. Barry Hanratty Glenn: what do you think of the above writing?
Barry is one of the most reliable Garabandalists in the WORLD. He was the Editor of the " Garabandal" magazine (at the NY CENTER) ,where we both worked, and I am still in contact with him today.
Yes,they saw 2 seperate events, the pre-Warning Tribulation period , and the "Conditional " Chastisement. A combination of all of the above you listed( for the Pre-Warning Tribulation), the Chastisement was considerably worse, judging by thelast line (and some other quotes Ive seen.
The part about "Communism coming again" and Churches being closed and it being very hard for people to practice their faith sounds like a spot-on description of the tyrannical, Anti-Christ lockdowns of the Scamdemic.
Hello Glenn, Goya made a painting called the Adoration of the Name of God, on the ceiling of the choir of the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar in Zaragoza, Spain, in which a very similar icon appears https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_adoración_del_nombre_de_Dios
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY JUNE 24,1961 In the afternoon, St. Michael appears to the children in the “calleja”. At his feet is an inscription on a plaque made up of letters and some Roman numerals, … ” XVIII- MCMLXI“. The Visionaries do not understand the meaning of the inscription ( it is the DATE the FIRST MESSAGE from Mary was to be made known, October 18,1961 ) Our Lady's 1st Message of Garabandal :October 18, 1961--" We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. If we do not, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us."
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY JUNE 24,1961 There were many more people than on the previous days, including many priests and doctors. During the ecstasy, a doctor wanted to pick Conchita up, but because of the excessive increase in weight that she experienced while in this state, he dropped her, and her knees hit the ground with a loud thud. When the vision ended, the doctors and priests examined them. They clearly observed the marks from Conchita’s fall, from pinch marks, hits, and scratches from people who wanted to “test” the girls. But they did not experience any pain at all, and in the moment of the ecstasy they didn’t react in the least. They were not aware of anything of the exterior world during the ecstasies, and when they ended, the bruises and scratches still did not cause them any pain; only the marks remained. D. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY JUNE 25,1961 The crowds become larger and larger. At least 5 priest and many known medical doctors are present. Doctors from the local area are making various experiments to test the sensibility of the children during the ecstasies. For the first time the witnesses become aware of the extraordinary change in weight which the visionaries are undergoing. After the ecstasy, the young girls notice, especially on their legs, slight traces pinching, pricking, fingernail marks, and lumps due to the experiments made while they were in ecstasy. They claim that they did not feel anything. The children are taken to the church sacristy where they are questioned in the presence of priests and doctors. Their legs are examined. “ The Village Speaks” - pg. 16
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY JUNE 25,1961 “The Cuadro” The young men of the Village set up this rectangular enclosure made of tree trunks and stakes so that the Visionaries might be better protected from the crowd. The only ones authorized to go in were the parents of the children, their brothers, the priests and physicians, who came to examine the girls while in ecstasy. “GARABANDAL ‘’ pg. 37
on another note....all of this UFO stuff suddenly coming to light makes me think that perhaps this is how the World Order will explain away the Warning and the Miracle....just Alien interference
SAINT JOSE MARIE ESCRIVA AND GARABANDAL (June 26 is his Feast Day ) On October 6, 2002, Pope John Paul II canonized the founder of Opus Dei in St Peter’s Square, Rome, in the presence of more than 300,000 people from all round the world. The link between St Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer with the Garabandal apparitions is not well known. In the summer of 1962 he spent a few days of holiday in Suances, Cantabria, during which he visited Garabandal, accompanied by several young men , members of Opus Dei. He spoke cheerfully and profoundly to the girls, an experience they still recall fondly after all these years. As it happens, news of this visit came out by chance years later when somebody showed the girls a prayer picture for God’s favour through his intercession, printed during his canonization. It was then that the girls joyfully recounted the meeting. He would not have risked his reputation if he did not believe in the apparitions, and tell others about his trip to talk to the girls. This was also confirmed by Mother Nieves. “A Saint is a sinner who keeps trying”. - St. Escriva
