I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that pride in your often stated opinion has overtaken your prudence...but if I find Cardinal Wuerl, McCarrin or any of their sodomite classmates who are spread all over the current hierarchy sodomizing any boy, man, anyone male or female, I'll not only tell him to stop, I will kick the ever loving bullshite out of him so they're never able to sodomize anyone...ever...again. I think maybe we relate to God a bit differently... I see God as my Daddy and I'm holding His hand while He takes care of things. My prayer and sacrifice are the conduits for His grace to reach more people and save souls. I also do what I can within the circle God has given me (my family and those I come in contact with) to spread the love and truth of Christ.

 

I wouldn't make fun of you. But I'm defintitely praying for you, this is a sad state of affairs being shown here, but increasingly showing me how we got here.

We're not going to stop sodomites and instead we're going to stand by and hold Daddy's hand instead of standing up for Truth and being His hand and feet and stopping it.

Our poor, dear priests. This is why Mary has been begging us for 40 years to pray for our priests. She says they are the bridge to the Triumph of her heart. For so long, they have been suffering terribly under a corrupt, predatory hierarchy, trying to keep the faith... And we think WE are suffering? The repeat of Christ's martyrdom has been happening to our priests...a very long white martyrdom. We may be on the precipice of a great rising up, saying enough is enough, but there is great danger in it. With so much pain involved, there is great temptation to vindictiveness, revenge, and pride. When Christ was betrayed by Judas, He had no words of condemnation, only a revelation of His suffering. He told His apostles to put down their swords and He healed the ear of His captor. He was silent through His trial and prayed from the cross, "Father, forgive them; they know not what they do."

Jesus has come in these times again with mercy, holding out His bleeding Heart and giving us the image of His Divine Mercy. Even now, He is stooping down, wishing to save us. That includes His bishops! It's not too late yet, though it will be soon. If we truly want to save those we can, we must do it with Jesus, HIS way. Our way, full of anger and pride, has no power over evil and will not save souls.

 

There is no doubt the devil is hitting our poor priests first. Although I have noticed lately some of our leading Catholic layfolk on the internet maybe seem to be getting a little wonky too. Poor people.

We are truly being tried in the furnace of affliction, may God have Mercy on us all.

 

Yes, we are all being tried; not one of us is not in danger from the temptation to pride, so insidious and taking many forms. The antidote is love...not a wishy washy liberal version of love, but powerful Love that wills the good of another, even if they have hurt us or others deeply. Vengeance is God's, and it will come. The fact that it hasn't yet means we better be busy doing God's current will of saving souls with great mercy!

 

I wish Fr Altman and others would say, after their rather angry discourses, to pray for these Bishops. I am not hearing that. Forgive your enemies...

 

Part of this is, I think, is Fr. channeling his lawyer-ness, but I agree.

 

Vengeance is immediate after sin too tho, it dulls our ability to perceive truth and feel love.

Edit: the thought just crossed my mind that priests receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders through the Bishops.
