I just now read it. Thank you. But, one never knows, does one? (to continue on with your train of thought....)
Would you be able to find Marino Restrepo video where he talks about the marxists in his country, and post a link.
I am not good at direct links but I will track down the actual you tube for you with exact title. Its worth listening to. His perspective is so comforting. (I am praying for your surgery )
I have no idea if this is true. Seen on social media just now: "My friend gave a talk to some 9th graders and was told to avoid the use of any gendered pronouns because half the class identified as non-binary."
My sister-in-law has gone very quiet. She has two grandchildren ages 2 and newborn. I pray throughout the day, knowing what they'll be subjected to unless they're enrolled in private schooling or home schooled. The family isn't close, so I have no idea what T & R's plans are, regarding their little ones' education.
Very sad, and I didn't know this (ironic, as I keep up with news). But I hope don't start seeing a massive influx of Colombian migrants into the USA. We've got enough problems of our own.
Reading the articles on Colombia, yes, there seems to have always been some trouble in Latin America, Colombia News | Colombia Reports Okay reporting from Colombia...if one is really interested. I had some problems with their reporting, it wasn't politics, it was they were a bit too raunchy. More on Latin America, yes, so much heart breaking news: Guatemala disappeared: Reuniting families with the remains of loved ones - BBC News From Pope Francis to Maradona, always big problems down there, they turn the corner and things get better and another thing pops up....it's so frustrating....but there are bright spots here and there as well. Name a country, Venezuela? Mexico, Brazil? ...it is troubling.
I see that Columbia's government is conservative, pro-life, and has done much to help the people fleeing from communist Venezuela, so probably the same forces behind anarchists like BLM are instigating the uprisings against Columbia's government. It's the destabilization of countries one by one, creating cracks and vacuums for godless agendas to rush in. And from what I'm reading, they're doing it the same way they do it here...by preying on the poor, black communities, telling them they're oppressed and need to rise up in violence against whites and the police.
The previous page had some posted stories, I guess, I was referencing them a bit. Sorry, I did not quote them. No problem.
Envy. The devil's favourite weapon. Wasn't his envy of God the cause of his Fall? It's not for nothing there are no less than two out of Ten Commandments condemning it. Although our societies have lost almost all understanding of what is truly valuable, they are notable for their ostentatious wealth to which everyone feels entitled. It's all rooted in a sense of Pride, whereby many can't bear to be second-best. Too few are prepared to wait for the Eschaton, they wish to create it themselves, but all they'll get is an Inferno.
The current pope of course may have made his not so negligible contribution to this trend with his comments that “Catholics need not breed like rabbits “ and “2-3 children are enough for each family “. Not to mention his public praise of Emma Bonino, the “forgotten great”, Italy’s most famous abortion proponent. Long Slide Looms for World Population, With Sweeping Ramifications Fewer babies’ cries. More abandoned homes. Toward the middle of this century, as deaths start to exceed births, changes will come that are hard to fathom. A family eating hotpot at a restaurant in Beijing. China’s population is projected to contract sharply this century.Credit...Gilles Sabrié for The New York Times By Damien Cave, Emma Bubola and Choe Sang-Hun May 22, 2021 All over the world, countries are confronting population stagnation and a fertility bust, a dizzying reversal unmatched in recorded history that will make first-birthday parties a rarer sight than funerals, and empty homes a common eyesore. Maternity wards are already shutting down in Italy. Ghost cities are appearing in northeastern China. Universities in South Korea can’t find enough students, and in Germany, hundreds of thousands of properties have been razed, with the land turned into parks. Like an avalanche, the demographic forces — pushing toward more deaths than births — seem to be expanding and accelerating. Though some countries continue to see their populations grow, especially in Africa, fertility rates are falling nearly everywhere else.
