He was in my wedding party. He contracted Covid. Dispute being healthy at 59 years old he is on a respirator and close to death. They say there is nothing more they can do for him.
May by the Grace of God and through his Divine Will may Jim receive spiritual and physical healing. Will offer up a chaplet of Mercy this afternoon for Jim.
Praying for him....so sad.....a fellow from my church is 62.....got Covid, on a ventilator....ready to be removed after 2 weeks with no hope. He was to retire at year's end....our children grew up together. It's surreal
It is surreal. I fear in the midst of all the debates and restrictions we have lost sight of the fact this is a deadly ugly disease.
Loving, merciful Father, touch Jimmy with your healing hands. Cover him with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. For the sake of his sorrowful passion have mercy on him, on the others mentioned with Covid and on us all.
He passed away today. He was a friend from the days before I came back to God. He was not a Catholic. I didn't hang around with those guys very much once the Blessed Mother brought me back...But years ago, on a rare occasion when I went out, he was curious about my scapular. I tried to explain devotion to Mary, but protestants who are in the culture don't understand. Anyways, I am grateful to God that I was able to pray for him before he died. And I am hopeful he is in heaven....or purgatory so our prayers now can help. If you would please say a Hail Mary for him, I would appreciate it.
It attacked both his lungs and kidneys. He was an extremely healthy man before Covid...He never had excess weight, healthy diet and regular exercise for decades. If you met him you would likely guess him to be around 40, really. Always the brightest, most cheerful man in the room.
