Sadly but true. The separation of Ukraine and Russia has been the fault of the EU. Both Ukraine and Russia need each other. They have had a friendly treaty since 1997. And the majority living in Ukraine are Russians. The EU plan would never work. It’s a pipe dream.

But the errors of cultural Marxism are taking over the West. Russia still has many errors, like abortion, but cultural Marxism and outright Communism are truly a thing of the past in present day Russia. She is more Orthodox than the west is Christendom, by far. It’s not even worth arguing. Russia will save the west from the cultural Marxism rampant everywhere now where Christendom once held sway. From our prejudices and MSM propaganda “the west” might see the coming Russian aggressions as “Communist.” But that won’t be the case. The salvation of the west from its mire of cultural Marxism is going to come from the once origin of Cultural Marxism. And it will start in Ukraine. Russia isn’t dumb. I think the key phrase is "when communism comes again". It certainly feels like atheistic and cultural Marxists have taken over Ireland with these lock downs and covid rules. I wouldn't mind Putin and Russia coming to rescue us.
Communism is just when the state owns all property. Universal Basic Income replacing self-sustenance is a way of getting to the goal where “you will own nothing and be happy”. Just propose to give everyone a universal basic income in exchange for the state canceling all debt. Don’t allow people who don’t get the mark to participate. And portray them as anti-vaxxers who are a threat to humanity.
In reading this Brian, I got the image of the serpent raised on the beam - the "serpent" in this image being Russia, the origin of Cultural Marxism. If salvation comes from Russia, it would truly be biblical and a total smack in the face to Satan whose diabolic actions in the Soviet Union served to create greater faith there.
It is a strange and confusing time. The governments of the West are behaving like enemies of the citizens they swore oaths to serve. Personally I think pretty much all of them should be hung from the neck but who would replace them? Foreign invasion or obliteration would at least be palatable. I have a real affinity towards this beautiful icon! It brings so much together. Reminds me of my childhood hearing the Bible story of Abram’s “visitors”. I seriously could never understand why that story spoke to me so much. Possibly it was its mystery? Not a bad thought since the Trinitarian aspect IS Mystery!
