This video is 2 mins 39 secs long. Oh man when he gets emotional I got goosebumps and then I was emotional too. He is such a sincere searcher for truth that I suppose it was inevitable.

Praying to Our Blessed Mother for him,

This opening of his heart makes me weep and pray for Jordan Peterson, also. However, I'm not surprised, either. I've always thought he was honestly seeking for Truth. Notice in this clip, the depiction of Jesus standing before Pilate is highlighted. Christ's Agony had already begun in the Garden. Suffering is not the antithesis of authentic living, but the means to union with God. Peterson has suffered greatly with health issues in the last year. How to make sense of this; only in the Cross! We should pray fervently for him without forgetting that the Cross will come to each of us eventually. Interestingly, his own dilemma, like that of Augustine, may very well be the key to his conversion!

May the Blessed Virgin, St. Therese, and Sts. Augustine and Monica, fervently intercede on Jordan's behalf! :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

What a marvelous reflection and exhortation, reflecting on Jordan Peterson's personal crisis, by this, a convert to Catholicism. Be patient; there is a profound synthesis of humility, philosophical reflection, and the Gospel. I shed some tears in my hour of listening.

Salvation in Christ Alone, through His Holy Catholic Church, imperfect though She be!

Poor Jordan Petersen, I love him so much! He is really going through the mill.

Critics are rebuking him now that he is currently going through what seems to be a kind of druggy breakdown along the Scriptural lines of,

    Luke 4:23

23 Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’”

But that was not true of Jesus nor is it true of many others. Anytime you say anything at all you open yourself to the charge of hypocrisy. Jesus was sinless so the charge could never, ever stick. But since we are certainly not sinless , the charge of hypocrisy will always stick a little.:)

But if I were to think if it is better for people to think well of us or badly of us, I would say generally it is far better for people to think badly of us. It is a much, much safe place to be.

Look at poor Jordan Petersen. Not long ago half the planet was acclaiming him as almost a Second Messiah . Now he is more nor less hidden away in a hole in the ground.

It reminds me of other words of Jesus.

    Matthew 5:11

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

I have rarely seen on the face of another human being suffering so vividly painted. He reminds me of the Head of Jesus on a Cross.

He really, really, really is going through total hell. Thank God his wife and family are standing by him.

    Prayers, poor, poor man.

I cane across another very sweet, wise, commentary on this by an Orthodox priest the other night. Very touching.
