    Strange weight of Visionaries.

The Visionaries could lift one another up with the greatest of ease. On the other hand, two grown men were not able to lift a single child when in ecstasy. In one of the photographs, Conchita can be seen, before the church door, lifting Mary Loli up to give something to the Virgin to be kissed.

Another photograph taken inside the Church. Loli easily lifts Jacinta to help her reach up to the Vision, whereas two grown men can hardly move her. conc lifts loli.jpg

    GLENN ASKED MIRACLE DATE .

MANY MEMBERS write me privately asking if I know the "Miracle Date ". So I tell them this true story.
I'll tell you a little story. Many years ago I was having lunch with Conchita, (LATE 1990s) and most of our conversations are about what's going on in our lives and families, not about Garabandal. On this one day, I almost choked on my food , because she actually asked me if I thought I knew the " Miracle date". In all the years I've know her (since 1993 ), this never came up,nor would I have the nerve to ever ask her about the date ( real friends don't do that with her). So after gaining my composure, I explained to her my vast research methods, books read, searching the internet for saints feast days, and I gave her my date prediction. With a great "poker face",and dead pan look, she glanced at me then turned her head away. I knew no words had to be spoken, I WAS WRONG ! We talked about " living the message" as opposed to " guessing the dates", and from that day forward, I stopped searching for the saint & the date.

-Conchita: “To guess at dates regarding the [prophesied] Miracle shows a lack of faith in the Blessed Virgin .Indeed, the energies expended on this are so much better spent on living the Message! “

(Talk to me after the Warning, maybe I'll reconsider and "guess" )

    MARCH 1963:

    CONCHITA'S FIRST LOCUTIONS

Conchita had been suffering a great deal ever since the month of January from not seeing the Blessed Virgin. Because she already knew the date of the Great Miracle, she felt how much one must be able to wait. . . actively. Assailed by the doubts of her entourage, she, too, was beginning to waver . . . when she heard Mary's voice interiorly for the first time telling her: "Have no doubts that my Son will perform the Miracle."

This first of the two locutions that Conchita was to be granted as early as March 1963, gave her "a joy and peace still greater than when saw the Blessed Virgin . . . for then I have Our Lady inside me!," she explained. Fascinated by "this voice of intimate happiness without words," Conchita was henceforth "as certain," as she said, "that the Miracle would come, as 2 and 2 make 4!"

Conchita wrote in her Diary that she preferred locutions rather than apparitions, but still more to receive the Eucharist. She explained that her locutions occurred when she was praying "either in my room, or at the Pines, or again at church."

Who says Padre Pio didn't have a sense of humor ?

In response to a letter Conchita wrote to Padre Pio ,asking him to visit her in Garabandal , (maybe hearing of his ability to bi-locate) Padre Pio responded: " Do you think I can travel about like that , according to my whim, and why not like Santa Claus, and come down the chimney into your home ? This discussion is so long and I don't know if Glenn has this been posted this here already.

I have been reading French articles lately of St Sebastian being invoked as a patron saint against the coronavirus since he is considered patron Saint against pestilence going back several centuries. He was ordered killed by archers in Rome under Diocletian and left to die with many wounds. A holy widow found him barely alive and nursed him back to health. He was later bludgeoned to death by imperial guards after they saw he had survived. Christians found his body and placed it in a chapel where pope Marcellin had put the relics of Peter and Paul. The chapel later became the Basilica of St Sebastian near Rome - at least this is what I read in French articles. He was invoked during plagues very early because the symptoms of plague stung like arrows.

I found this article in English about him and it says "The use of arrows to represent pestilence goes back to classical mythology, along with the belief in a divine archer meting out punishment for various transgressions or sins. For the Greeks, it was Apollo, God of the Silver Bowl (Chamberlain, 1968 3). That St Sebastian came to be identified with the plague - in the role of a patron interceding for potential or actual victims - has been a matter of continuing interest and validation among European historians. But it is clear that Sebastian became associated with the plague as early as the 7th century A.D. A mosaic in the church of San Pietro in Vincoli (Rome) shows the Saint again as a Roman soldier, but with the following inscription: 'To Saint Sebastian, martyr, dispeller of the pestilence. In the year of salvation 680, a pernicious and severe pestilence invaded the city of Rome... Such was the multitude of dead, that on the same bier, parents and children, husbands and wives, with brothers and sisters, were borne out to burial places, which, everywhere filled with bodies, hardly sufficed... The disease spread for a length of time, until it was announced to a holy man that there would be an end to the calamity, if, in the church of St Peter ad Vincula an altar should be consecrated to Sebastian the martyr; which this being done, immediately the pestilence, as if driven back by hand, was commanded to cease" (Jameson, 1885 21-22).

So Garabandal has another link for our times.

St Sebastian pray and intercede for us!

In the quote above, Glenn, I notice that it specifically mentions the clergy, so does this mean that the clergy will be singled out here when full communism comes? Que horror!

Well think about satan's goal. If they force Priests from churches, there is no mass, no communion, no confession, mission accoplished.

TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MARCH 3, 1962
    A MYSTERIOUS (FIRST) LETTER FROM
    THE FAMOUS ITALIAN STIGMATIZED
    CAPUCHIN, BLESSED PADRE PIO OF
    PIETRELCINA, TO THE VISIONARIES
    OF GARABANDAL

On this "first Saturday" of March, Conchita received a letter addressed to the four visionaries in the village. It came from Padre Pio, as the Vision would confirm to Conchita, during an ecstasy she had on the same day, telling them, among other things:
"Dear children, this morning at nine, the Blessed Virgin asked me to tell you: 'O blessed little girls of San Sebastian de Garabandal! I promise that I will be with you until the end of times, and that you will be with Me until the end of the world. Then you will be united with Me in the glory of Paradise' ".
"I am sending you a copy of the rosary of Fatima that the Blessed Virgin asked me to send to you. This rosary was dictated by the Blessed Virgin and must be made known for the salvation of sinners and for the preservation of humanity from the worst chastisements God is threatening to send us.
"I am giving you only one advice: Pray and make others pray, for the world is on the edge of ruin.
"People do not believe you: they do not believe in your conversations with the Blessed Virgin . . .
"People will believe when it will be very, very late."

As soon as she received this letter, Conchita sent Padre Pio a personal letter, with "a secret message from the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel and addressed to him."
We do not know exactly when the famous Capuchin of San Giovanni Rotondo learned about what was going on at Garabandal. Thanks to the book by F. Sanchez-Ventura, La Vierge est-elle apparue a Garabandal? (Did the Blessed Virgin appear at Garabandal?, N.E.L. Paris, 1965), we nevertheless know the gentle "reproach" he addressed, at the beginning of the year 1962, to a group of Spanish pilgrims on the authenticity of the apparitions: "How many apparitions do you need, when they have been taking place for already eight months?"
We shall see later in this Dossier, more, much more about the extraordinary involvement of Blessed Padre Pio in Garabandal.

SAINT (POPE) PAUL VI : QUOTES ON GARABANDAL
“ Conchita, I bless you and with me the whole church will bless you “
    .

Pope Paul VI had shown a very special interest in the apparitions. At an audience given to Fr. Xavier Escalda, S.J., the latter mentioned there were many opponents of the apparitions even amongst his own people. His Holiness promptly rejoined:
"It doesn't matter; tell these gentlemen that it is the Pope who has said that it is most important and most urgent to make these messages known to the world."

Father Escalada explained his work in spreading the message of Garabandal in Mexico and the Pope Paul VI encouraged him to continue saying: "These messages must be made known." Father Escalada asked the Pope for his permission to continue promoting Garabandal and the Pope said “YES”. Pope Paul VI said :
"It is the most beautiful story of humanity since the days of Christ. It is like a second life of the Virgin on earth. And we can never be grateful enough for it."

, "Jacinta, I am with you, but we have to pray much and have much patience . . : it. is necessary to pray that the Church will become aware of the importance of Garabandal."

In June 1969, Pope Paul sent his personal blessing to Difurora Mariana of Mexico, along with the gift of a crucifix for every member of the Garabandal Centre there, encouraging them to continue promoting the messages of Garabandal.

Why did Conchita move to America ?
There was no chance of her having a realistic life there in the village. Everyday she had people telling her what to do, and it would be impossible for her to go outside or even do her chores because of the countless visitors wanting to see her, talk to her, question her, touch her ( as if she had powers to heal ),that is why her mother sent her away at 17 to another town for her education . Later at age 23 she came to America. A famous Spanish/American Radio personality and Physician in NY, Dr. Dominguez, knew her from his visits to Garabandal, offered to bring her over, and provide housing and a vocation in his medical practice. Funny how 3 of the 4 girls moved to America for privacy.
Here is Conchita in her own words : "
" I remember my village caused me to suffer. I felt as if I was imprisoned. I acted by the commands of others who constantly advised me " Go to mass, Pray the rosary, Do this, Give up that ". At times I thought I would be happy in a hermitage away from everyone, and to work there alone for God and see what I was capable of doing without their forever telling me." 11-25-66

I disagree. The description from Conchita and Mari Loli of the Chastisement are exact of other seers of the 3days of darkness. Tell why the are not the same event ?
