Ousted Vatican Cardinal warns that the “west will disappear”
    February 23, 2021 stephen ryan 0 Views 0 Comments
Vatican Cardinal Robert Sarah warns that the “west will disappear” as a result of mass migration, adding that “Islam will invade the world” and “completely change culture, anthropology, and moral vision.”
On Saturday morning, the Holy See announced that Pope Francis had accepted the resignation of Cardinal Robert Sarah as prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.
The cardinal’s departure was announced by the Vatican Press Office without any mention of who will take his place. The unusual move has prompted competing theories among Vatican watchers and officials: Some suggest Sarah is being publicly punished, while others ask if the announcement is a sign of pending structural reform at the Vatican.
Sarah’s new book, Evening Draws Near and the Day is Nearly Over, is causing controversy in Europe because it explicitly identifies Muslim migration as a harbinger of the continent’s collapse.

“If the West continues in this fatal way, there is a great risk that, due to a lack of birth, it will disappear, invaded by foreigners, just as Rome has been invaded by barbarians,” said Sarah, adding, “My country is predominantly Muslim. I think I know what reality I’m talking about.”
The Cardinal also blamed the European Union for its “desire to globalize the world, ridding it of nations with their distinctive characteristics,” labeling the move “sheer madness”.
“The Brussels Commission thinks only about building a free market in the service of the great financial powers,” he continued. “The European Union no longer protects the peoples within it. It protects the banks.”
In a previous video interview, Sarah warned that Europe had lost its roots and was dying because of fewer European natives having children.

In recent interviews he has gone even further, noting that priests, bishops and cardinals within the Catholic Church have betrayed the teachings of Christ by pursuing political activism.
Sarah’s comments put him at odds with the Pope, who has relentlessly promoted migration from African and Middle Eastern countries into Europe.
According to the Cardinal, it is wrong to “use the word of God to promote migration,” and it is better “to help people flourish in their culture than to encourage them to come to Europe.”
Sarah slammed mass migration as a “new form of slavery” because migrants end up “without work or dignity”.
“Is that what the Church wants?” he asked.
Sarah remained hopeful of the situation being reversed, asserting, “This is not the end of the world, the Church will rise.”

California's coronavirus strain looks increasingly dangerous: 'The devil is already here'

A coronavirus variant that probably emerged in May and surged to become the dominant strain in California not only spreads more readily than its predecessors but also evades antibodies generated by COVID-19 vaccines or prior infection and is associated with severe illness and death, researchers said.

In a study that helps explain the state’s dramatic holiday surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths — and portends further trouble ahead — scientists at UC San Francisco said the cluster of mutations that characterizes the homegrown strain should mark it as a “variant of concern” on par with those from the United Kingdom, South Africa and Brazil.

Californians, along with the rest of the country, have been bracing for an onslaught of the more transmissible strain from the U.K. known as B.1.1.7. But they should know that a rival strain that is probably just as worrisome has already settled in, and will probably account for 90% of the state’s infections by the end of next month, said Dr. Charles Chiu, an infectious diseases researcher and physician at UCSF.

“The devil is already here,” said Chiu, who led a team of geneticists, epidemiologists, statisticians and other scientists in a wide-ranging analysis of the new variant, which they call B.1.427/B.1.429. “I wish it were different. But the science is the science.”

The U.K. and California variants are each armed with enhanced capabilities, and the likelihood that they could circulate in the same population raises the specter of a return to spiking infections and deaths, Chiu said. It also opens the door to a “nightmare scenario”: That the two viruses will meet in a single person, swap their mutations and create an even more dangerous strain of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The new evidence that the California variant could make people sicker, and vaccines less effective, should spur more intensive efforts to drive down infections, Chiu said. Those should include both public health measures, such as masking and limits on public activities, and a ca

What a blessing this Cardinal is to the flock. What he is saying has historically been borne true, particularly in Europe. He will be missed.

    Padraig,

Brings a tear to my eye. This week I spoke to the Director of Activities at Iroquois Nursing Home, where up to last March I would spend my Sunday and Friday, doing a Communion Service, preaching, and visiting the residents. There are 4 floors there: a dementia unit, a rehab unit, and two long-term care units. Well, Connie informed me that they may be relaxing the rules and allowing me to come back soon.

What broke my heart is that due to the natural death rate of a nursing home, when combined with covid-19, there is not one long-term care resident now there that I knew prior to the outbreak. It sickens my heart to know that they received no sacraments or known spiritual consolation as death approached, whether Catholic, Protestant, or Jew.

Hopefully the Lord personally intervened, but to deprive people of ongoing spiritual sustenance is indeed a great, great evil.

    Lord have mercy!

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

It is ironic when you think about it. When Our Lady warned at Akita 1973, forgiveness of sin would cease if people did not amend their lives.

People who are 100 would have been in their 50's,
People who are in their 90's would have been in their 40's
People who are in their 80's would have been in their 30's
People who are in their 70's would have been in their 20's
People who are in their 60's would have been in their teens.

No one can say they were not warned in time, and how many times since the warnings from Akita have we been reminded to live in a state of grace, because you never know the time or the day when we will be called to give an account of our lives. We need to find a way to get absolution if at all possible, and be like the wise virgins who had oil to spare to keep their lamps lit when the Lord delayed His arrival.

Let us pray the Lord have Mercy on those who were left without the final sacraments before they died in a secular lockdown. God have mercy on them. God have mercy on us all.

I think it is safe to say that this extreme weather, along with volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and fires will only get worse. We are in for it, and it has nothing to do with 'global warming '. :(

    Matthew 24:6

Signs of the End of the Age
5For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.…

I would not be so concerned Terry if I heard our Bishops and priests and the Holy Father preaching about the need for prayers, Fasting , Conversion and Penance. I don't seem to hear this happening. Do you? What we need from the top down ,From the Holy Father Himself is that firstly in the Church itself a massive campaign for these things. But before we do this we must be convicted of sin. I don't sense this inner conviction of sin anywhere really.

These are all things Our Blessed Lady as indicated over and over and over again. If the Church is not doing this then it simply won't happen anywhere else. Instead of conviction of sin and conversion the Church seems to have turned things over to the Secular powers to fix things. This is not spiritual but a worldly attitude.

It won't work. This virus will simply get worse. The vaccines are simply an illusion ..and an evil illusion at that. We see this with the virus mutations. I notice the new ones in New York and California for instance which may well be vaccine bullet proof.

But in fact the virus is just the first stage of what is to come...

    1 Corinthians 2:14

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

Yes Julia. It is not Rocket Science really. We need Conviction of sin and then conversion. At the very least within the Church. This is simply not happening. Closing Churches is not conviction of sin and conversion, it is quite the reverse.

    Matthew 23:37
    Lament over Jerusalem
36Truly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation. 37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling! 38Look, your house is left to you desolate.…

As a convert, I haven't been "taught" much about these apparitions and warnings. I mean, I've come across some of them in the years I've been a Catholic, but haven't heard of them otherwise. I think the priests should take the initiative and start informing their flock about what's happening. Even if they have to get the word out through a bulletin or whatever. This world is going crazy, and we need the Church to try to make some sense out of it. Even if it means some good old fashioned end of times preaching. I think, as Catholics, we are used to the Priests talking for 10 minutes for the homily, and that's it. Mass takes an hour of our time each week, and how many don't go to daily Mass? I know I wasn't. Part of it now is health concerns and the pandemic. I had open heart surgery in October, so that laid me low for awhile. Then I've been in Cardiac rehab. I'll be ending that on Monday, so I'll see if my church is having daily mass or not. If so, then I might try to go some during the week. I no longer have my ride for the weekend Mass, but I'll see if I can connect with Fr. John during the week.

Our Lady's latest message from Medugorje is a real eye opener. It appears to suggest that war might coming.

    February 25, 2021

“Dear children! God has permitted me to be with you also today, to call you to prayer and fasting. Live this time of grace and be witnesses of hope, because I repeat to you, little children, that with prayer and fasting also wars can be suppressed. Little children, believe and live this time of grace in faith and with faith; and my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness if you have recourse to me. I intercede for you before the Most High and I pray for peace in your hearts and for hope for the future. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

I love the way Our Lady is always, always so positive and always leaves the door open to the possibility of conversion and change. A real mother.

She teaches me that I tend to be too negative about people and events. I know that there are very many good and devout people out there and many, many saints. But in general I kind of take a dim, a very dim view of everything. But Our Lady keeps giving messages of hope.

I need to hold on to this and learn from it. It is hard though. Especially with the state of our poor Church.

I understand what you are saying! I did not go to a Catholic School, so my training was through a few years of catechism and at home. We did not attend church regularly, I didn't start attending church regularly until I was in my 20's. I had a hunger for it, taught myself alot of things by reading, studying on my own, and of course listening to Bishop Sheen and EWTN. Sunday Mass homilies are just twenty minute soundbites of the bible. So, in my late twenties I picked up a book about Fatima. I had never heard about it, this was in the 1970's. I read about it and was blown away! I asked my Dad about it and he had heard of it. I was incredulous that people weren't talking about it all the time . . .I thought, why aren't there huge posters up about it? Don't they care???? And that started another journey for me to read more about apparitions etc. When Medugorje happened, I just did not have the money to go but always wanted to. There is so much in our faith that doesn't get taught, things like Healing Masses. They are so infrequent but so powerful. Lives of the saints . . .I could go on and on. Having your house blessed, having blessed salt, holy water around. Most of my friends don't have these and don't really know why they should. And it is rarely discussed. So, I hear you, at least now you are more aware of these things and can research them for yourself. It's an incredible journey.
