Another "evil" that God has allowed is the papacy of Pope Francis. I know some people don't believe he is or ever was the legitimate successor to St. Peter; in that case God has allowed his "antipapacy", so to speak. Either way, millions of prayers have gone up to heaven for him, either for him to repent and change his ways or, if it be God's will, that he no longer be pope - in one way or another. So far, he is still with us. But, along with many bad things, many good things have resulted from his papacy, in my opinion one of the most important among which is the opening of peoples' eyes to see the filth and error that have infiltrated our Church for many decades now, and to let us see how far we have fallen, with many people realizing that the Church of today is not the same as the Church before the 60's and from then to its beginning. It's the same Church but it has been purposely changed by men, some of them with good but mistaken intentions, some with evil intentions, in ways such that it is almost unrecognizable from its actual, historical self. People see that we need to reject the errors of modernism and cling to tradition, which is really nothing more than returning to how the Church always was, in her teachings, liturgy, spiritual practices, relationship with the world, etc. I'm hopeful that God will give us a pope that will put the Church back on course. Maybe it will, miraculously, be the next one or maybe it will be one after the next. Patience is the name of the game. We need much patience and much grace from God to endure these times, and He will give them to us. FWIW, I became curious a couple of weeks ago as to how long Francis' papacy has been compared to Benedict's. Pope Benedict started his reign on 19 April 2005 and ended it on 28 February 2013 - 2,872 days. Pope Francis became pope on 13 March 2013 and 2,872 days from then is this Friday, 22 January 2021. This Friday we will have had PF as long as we had Benedict.

I agree completely. Our prayers have not been wasted and God will answer in the best way possible, according to His will. The ones I'm worrying for are the ones who don't really understand that, and who have been promised a divinely-ordained Trump victory, strung along for weeks now with falsehood after falsehood. Who is making this stuff up and why? That's what I'm getting at.
Before the stuff about Fr. Michel lying and the condemnation from his bishop came out, back in the summer I came across him and his prophecies in passing. I was curious, so I watched one of his videos to get a feel for him and discern. I will mention here that I have a particular charism--something like discernment of spirits--where I feel the presence of goodness or evil in people and places, since I was a toddler. Anyway, I got only 10 minutes into his video and recognized the demonic in him. So I was not surprised at all when his bishop spoke up about him later on. I would caution people to not give Fr. Michel one more thought. I read somewhere that the devil puts out many false prophecies of the things he hopes to accomplish --his plans if not stopped by God. And of course, in his pride, he states them as fact, not conditional upon God's will, as they truly are.

AED, we are aware of China's political infiltration, we are aware of the orchestrated violence this past summer, we are aware of the traitorous behavior of prominent national figures, we are aware of the moral degradation which continues to grow. But what the link Brian shared claims is: everything coalescing in warfare this week with a President who would have had to give us an Oscar performance the last two months. China is not dumb, so I'm unsure what they would get out of this apart from a full scale reprisal from the USA (unless we're hit with an EMP). So my reaction is: highly unlikely! Of course my reply doesn't address the significance of the military buildup in DC. We'll find out soon enough! Praying a Chaplet of Divine Mercy!
