Something strange happened in the middle of the night. Not that I am a conspiracy theorist, I just try to stay aware of what is going on around me. I read that Apple was going to deactivate the emergency alert systems on all their iphones to make them go 'dark'. Well, I don't have an apple iphone and kind of dis regarded it. But I could not sleep and stayed up late, until 1:30 a.m. central time. A ping came in on my ipad and the notice said I was disconnected from the internet. I looked over at the router and it was working ok, Then my ipad came back online. Then, another ping and the same thing happened again. No disruption in my satellite router. Nothing else seemed to be affected. Those kinds of bumps in the night make me wonder. Seems like all this behind the scenes stuff is going on in the middle of the night. Just an observation . . .and just wondering.

I used to be a big fan of Norton, but no longer, for both technical and personal reasons. The technical reasons are too long and, honestly, technical, to go into here. As for personal: The company that owns Norton, Symantec, bought the company that I was providing phone support for, hoping to combine its product line with the Norton product line. Then, in an attempt to cut costs, Symantec closed all its American phone support and moved its phone support to the Philippines. Suddenly I was taken off that account and put on another phone support account where I make $2/hr less. It was a non-insignificant drop in pay.
Do you think it possible that Roy and other Christian bloggers/social media personalities are being used like useful tools by someone with a nasty agenda? That's the sense I'm getting from all these sensationalist reports building people up for some great event with a deadline that keeps getting pushed back. There has been a succession of this kind of hype during Trump's presidency. The evil doers were a step away from being exposed, Clinton was a step away from being arrested, Bohemian Grove and Pizzagate would be brought down. It was always just a step away. Something to keep people coming back for more. Trouble now is that the deadline can't be pushed back past inauguration day. My question is: what is the real agenda. Are they looking for a violent response to Biden's inauguration? If so, why? So that popular Christians can be marginalised and demonised as rabble rousers? I don't know the answers, but I do know that evil knows no depths and there's evil on all sides. Rubio is no friend of Trump. One of his staunchest supporters was a regular on CNN for years bad mouthing Trump every chance she got. He was there on Bartiromo's programme acting all holier than thou. The Capitol incursion played right into his hands. Roy is a good person. He needs to be careful not to let himself be used.
Remember: there are the impeachment TRIALS, which is what we had last year, and the actual vote to impeach, which is like a guilty/not guilty verdict. Trump went through the trial but was not impeached. Going through a trial again would not have any effect on his eligibility to hold public office again. If, however, he is impeached AND the Senate votes to convict, the Senate can then vote to ban him from holding any public office again. Also, once impeached, all of his pardons become invalid, or so I've heard. I still need to confirm that.
Mitch McConnell has said there is not enough time left to hold a trial in the Senate. The question will become moot. Besides, Trump went before cameras to say he will cooperate with an ordinary transition. He is not banking on some secret executive order, or some last minute military action to change the game. He will leave the White House, and Biden/Harris will take over after the Inauguration. Fr. My guess is that was Apple disabling the emergency alert system. The software for disabling would have been sent to your iPad, then the internet would be disabled to allow for installation. It comes back online to test network connectivity, then it does a network reset again to make it go "live". If this is the case, then this really IS a coup.
