    Marie Julie Jehanny prophecy:

She mentions a pope who, at the last moment, will reverse his policies and make a solemn appeal to the Clergy.

    But he will not be obeyed;
on the contrary, an Assembly of bishops will demand even greater freedom, declaring that they will no longer obey the Pope.

Marie-Julie then goes on to say that the Red Revolution will then break out. She speaks of a "horrible religion" which is to replace the Catholic Faith, and she sees "many, many bishops" embracing this "sacrilegious, infamous religion."

Msgr. Fournier, Bishop of Nantes: "The reports that I receive daily on Marie-Julie (Jahenny) show me more and more the action of God on this soul. He grants her graces of an obvious supernatural order. At the same time she grows in virtue and noble sentiments... what she manifests is supernatural... ." (Letter from the Bishop of Nantes to Dr. Imbert-Gourbeyre, 6 June 1875, "La stigmatisation" II pp. 18 et 19)

this seems like a reference to Pope Francis and his proposal to decentralize power in the Church, since the aforementioned assembly of bishops recalls the synod of the German Church of 2022 which threatens to impose its own doctrine according to the German liberal bishops

I don't think this refers to the Novus Ordo Mass, as some try to say. This sounds to me like the one world religion the one world government will implement, and that many bishops will join it, against the pope.

Her Bishop believed she was the real deal. He had a doctor examine her to find out if she was faking the stigmata.

I'm fairly sure that the Church doesn't issue a decision on visionaries, etc. while they are ongoing, which probably goes a long way to explaining why so many of today's self-proclaimed prophets have unending visions. Perhaps the prophecies confirming La Salette and warning about problems in the Church and changes to the Mass came after the Bishop gave his approval because there was no doubting the stigmata and ecstasies.

Maybe I missed something in the book but it's hard to tell the source of the remedies - whether they came during ecstasies or whether she thought them up herself. Even without the remedies, the warning and prophesies would be obstacles enough to getting Church approval. Isn't there something from the CDF about visionaries, authentic or not, sometimes injecting their own views into messages although not intentionally? Unlike modern "prophets" she doesn't seem to have claimed to be receiving messages for the whole world. People who knew her didn't think she was an attention seeker. I suppose that nobody would know about the prophecies had the Marquis not been present during the ecstasies and written about them.

It's curious the bishop or his successor didn't follow up after Jahenny's death. Genuine stigmatics are rare in church history.

I agree, PurpleFlower. One of the plans of the NWO is to install a one-world religion, with one head and one service. I had hoped I would not be alive to see this. No wonder Our Lady of La Salette cried so much.

The Vatican has a new video out. I didn't link to it in case I'm prompted to say something and have to go to Confession.

Sounds like the popes of her time and the decay and decline of the old order to me. They tried desperately to save the old order of things but obviously could not. This culminated for many in Pope Pius X who for years before the beginning of the great war spoke of it's approach to some in the church. This is documented by Cardinal del Val in his book Memories of Pope Pius X. PP X also spoke in private regarding Archduke Ferdinand and the successor to his title Archduke Charles who he said would become Emperor.

As for MJJ and her prophecies I think they were taking place at the time she made them. The stigmata was a visible sign of something possibly supernatural but not something I think anyone should be using to determine the fruits of her visions.
The old orders, decorations, and medals of the church were already in decline (they are practically non existent today) and there was a lot of push back among the members of the nobility as well as those orders, many of them second and third sons of the nobility of Europe to secure and restore what power and dominion they could. Much like the Black Nobility did with AB Le Febvre.
Some of course are still attempting to restore that order as well as sully the new order both in and outside of the church today. These families did not lose their wealth and influence when that order declined and was replaced, they simply adapted and took up the fight anew to restore it.
The old order was anything but kind. Much of the clergy were the sons and daughters of it who had few options if they were not in the direct line of descendants to inherit titles or properties or to be married into other families. It became worse for them of course when those families themselves went into decline and the revolutions broke out. Some of them joined those movements however.
Many came into the church having little other option and were ushered along by others to positions of great stature in the church simply because of their families nobility and influence in the church helping them along.

Just for the record, stigmata can be faked by the devil, so it is not used by the Church as a sign of sainthood when they do their investigations. It can be a true gift of course, but it can be faked by the devil as well.

I don't agree with the rest of what Daughter of Lourdes said, but in that instance she was correct. There was a Spanish nun named Magdalena de la Cruz who had the stigmata and was thought by many to have been a very holy woman and it turned out she was possessed.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magdalena_de_la_Cruz

There are some powers within the domain of the evil spirits, levitation, predicting the future (to a degree, though not perfectly), false stigmata (which could simply be the demons scratching the skin to make it bleed), etc.

They can of course be faked physically, all it would take is a bread knife through your hand.

But sometimes they suggest psychosomatic origins. ..the brain trying tricks on the body. Padre Pio had a good answer to this he asked if he imagined he was a bull would he grow horns:)

Do you know whether the Bishop who had had her medically examined outlived her? Maybe he predeceased her, or he could have retired and been replaced by someone more sceptical. Some Bishops don't want to know about mystics; some Bishops don't believe in demonic possession; some Bishops may not believe in God. That doesn't mean that there are no mystics; that demonic possession doesn't happen, or that there is no God. The Church in France has had some very strange Bishops.

I would be interested to know whether the Bishops who spoke favourably about her did so before, After or during the time she was receiving prophecies; whether he was aware of the prophecies and, if so, whether there was any change in his attitude after he knew about them.

There are a couple of things that don't pass the smell test for me and I'm sure that one of them would not have received Church approval. I can't imagine any Bishop approving the recommendation to write a prayer on a thin piece of paper and swallow it as a protection against physical illness. I'm wary, too, of anyone claiming to have been told by Jesus, Our Lady, or any Saint that if sin increases there will be no mercy. I think that another popular visionary said something similar (was it La Salette or Akita?). That's contrary to what I was taught: that mercy will be available until we take our last breath provided we repent, and that even mortal sin can be forgiven when there is perfect contrition.

I do believe that Marie Julie Jahenny was a holy woman. Just because the devil can inflict stigmata doesn't mean that he did so in her case. It's a pity there doesn't seem to have been a thorough diocesan examination of her prophecies. As it is, the information we have about them is second hand, coming from the Marquis. I'm sure he wasn't the only person to have assisted at the ecstasies. Do you know whether any other witnesses have corroborated his account?

Just thinking: perhaps the way to think of the idea of no mercy: this may have referred to no mercy in general, not for individuals. I’m thinking that it might mean at some point, God is finished with
the evilness and Lucifer. Just a thought.
    You were taught correctly.

People with the stigmata are not as rare in modern times as you might think, I would say from around the time of Padre Pio on down they became to appear much more regularly. Also of course there have been many, many reports of people receiving them invisibly.

Having a look at Padre Pio's stigmata was one of the tings that triggered my conversion. At first I thought to myself , 'The old fool, he did this himself with a screwdriver'.

But then I thought to myself, if he did so then why in a hot climate like the south of Italy was there never any sign of infection? Also why did not one of the highly qualified Doctors in attendance never find any sign of fraud? Also it seems incredible that his own Franciscan community were all party to this or did not notice fraud.

I just could not find an answer. It all seemed to point to the supernatural no matter how hard I studied it.

The stigmata, I think are not given so much for the person who received it but for others who witness them, to assist Faith.

When we speak of the Day of Justice or the Time of Justice as spoken of by many saints and mystics and as spoken of in Scripture, 'The terrible Day of the Lord', we do not mean that Mercy will cease for individual sinners but that God's patience will in a sense be exhausted. In other words the consequences of our sinful actions will be much more immediate. The Scriptural saying , 'The Wages of sin is death', will be borne home upon us with much more immediate effect. As we draw closer to Three Days of Darkness spoken of by our Blessed Lady in Nigeria.

To take a very extreme example.

Say someone was a hit man for the Mafia. He might be allowed as an act of mercy from God considerable time for repentance for sin. But actions always have consequences. The time may well be upon us when someone like this might be called to be immediate account. That the consequences of his grave sins might occur at once.

Concerning the swallowing of the piece of paper with the prayer on it which Marie- Julie recommended two events spring at once to mind.

At the Grotto Our Lady asked St Bernadette to eat some wild herbs that grew in the dirt. When the people saw St Bernadette do this they were repulsed and left en mass.

A seocnd incident was when Jesus proclaimed the Eucharist to the people and told them that unless they ate His Body and Drank His Blood they would not have life in them and they too turned and left as one.

Sometimes God asks us to jump into the Dark as He did with Abraham in sacrificing Isaiah. St Bernadette took the plunge when she ate the herbs. St Peter took the plunge when he said to Jesus, 'Where shall we go, you have the messaage of Eternal Life?

Consuming Sacramentals, such as drinking Holy Water is perfectly within the Traditions of the Church.. I don't find Marie-Julies little piece of paper too hard to swallow (pardon the pun):)

I think with people like Maria-Julie the best way of Discernment is the one Jesus indicated to us. 'By their fruits you shall know them?' Was she a good person and did her goodness bear good fruits. My answer would be , yes she was a saint and yes she bore tremendous fruit. So Good Tree, Good Fruit..what's not to like?:):)

The Jubilee Year of Mercy was huge. Literal doors of His mercy that we were able to pass through!
