People have forgotten that... sometimes everything is up for grabs...Joe Biden and the people who choose him understood that very well...another term of Trump would have buried them for good. They placed all their money on the final hand. Trump has to match this or leave the table. Donald has been a Shiller himself all his life, he knows a good Shill when he sees it. It's reach for your gun or leave the table time. My bet is he's reaching for his gun. God sometimes writes straight in very ,very crooked lines. He may be a crook, but maybe he's the kind of crook God needed in there with the biggest crooks of all. Trump never folded his hand on a bluff. He's not about to start now.
That section 230 stuff very well might bite us in the rear. If tech companies are held accountable for unfair censorship I think they are going to go full on the other direction and make it near impossible for anyone to say much of anything controversial anymore. Plus, that alone could take months to wrangle the details on. I don't understand why they are tying those issues together other than they will rush it all through and it will hurt free speech or tie it up months into next year. Plus, wasn't there some other budget spending they want to haggle on again?
It was a really great proclamation IMO too. I was impressed and humbled reading it. God really grants incredible powers of fortitude to endure persecution.

Anyone familiar with this poem by Sir Walter Raleigh? It has some interesting similarities to these times although it was written hundreds of years ago and seemingly for another purpose. One thing about this economic stimulus package that strikes me as absurd and irresponsible is sending money to every household in America. I can certainly see the genuine need for a helping hand for the families affected through job loss or low income but why send money to families still working and with incomes sufficient to provide for their needs despite the self inflicted crisis. I do understand that there are limits and caps put in place for single incomes above 75k and combined incomes of 150k but if someone making 50k a year is amply employed then what purpose does it serve to plunge the nation further into a chasm of debt our children and grand children can hardly hope to dig out from? I can't help but consider that it is designed with this purpose in mind under the auspices of stimulating the economy such as what took place with GHW Bush and his checks sent out after 9/11. Go shopping America!
Trump is about to do something big, I still feel he has much of this planned and has been preparing for this most of his life. I feel whatever is about to happen, after it masks and vaccines will be all but forgotten there will be much worse things to contend with. There has been all sorts of strange things in the skies and my dreams lately. Even tonight outside that large yellow full moon and the clouds were kind of amazing, I saw large demons going in one direction, the same ones I dreamed of last night and then I saw an angel going in the opposite direction, all large, even the angel looked angry.
Me too Indy. My dreams have been very strange and foreboding as well and I have had more of them in the last few months than I have in 10 years. My gut is telling me that all this is much bigger than the election although it is a catalyst for what is about to be unveiled. Trump is a part and a key one this much is obvious.
Hey everyone I went to the last rally. I was going to go to the next rally but have to focus on my spiritual life and save my money. Keep me in prayers I held up a crucifex the whole day there. Who knows where I am on the internet lol. I started to feel sick granted we i got no sleep the night before when getting up nearvthe Jericho walk near the Supreme Court. Ive always been sensitive with the senses wether good or bad. I had one of the worst dreams afterwards and fell into much sin isolation afterward im still struggling with. Please keep me in prayer for this. In my honest opinion and intuition Pence could be an insider just a possibility. Something doesnt sit well with me about him. I also dont think Trump should speak soo vocally in suport of the vaccines. Other then that he is the lesser of two evils and is getting a lot of good done. God bless you all.
Aren't there two posts, one on this thread and one posted elsewhere on the forum, from two members who were prompted to read Habakkuk? I watched Fr. Pavone and some other people praying for President Trump yesterday on his youtube channel. I think that was only about the second or third time I have looked at anything on that channel. Fr. Pavone quoted a passage from Habakkuk during the prayers. That's three times in the past week or two that I have seen references to Habakkuk. Prior to that, I don't think I ever heard mention of Habbakuk. It's not a book that pops into my head when I think of the Bible.
This sounds wonderful! When Covid hit, I did think the timing was in no way coincidental! It was as though intended to be a massive distraction from our insane election year.
The sad truth is, Don, our national position as reserve currency of the world creates the illusion that we'll be protected from the consequences of trillions of dollars in debt. I figure, whether Biden or Trump be President the next 4 years, the powers-that-be will extract that reserve currency privilege from America's grasp- within 3 months we'll join the financial ranks of the third-world nations. Lord have Mercy!
We very well may Mario the way things are headed although I just read McConnell saying there is no realistic path to another stimulus payment. The three things sent back the Dems wanted to break into individual issues in able to pass the stimulus and the GOP said no. Now the Dems are threatening the defense spending. McConnell mentioned exactly what I was stated regarding a fire hose of money rather than targeting those in true need. It just makes no sense to send money to people who are actually employed and managing OK but it is at the expense of those who are struggling and even failing. Trump is making them all look extremely bad. I think that was his intention all along. He's smart, he knew there would be no way they would be able to pass these three measures together due to the complexities especially of the section 230 portion and he also knew there was no way the GOP would approve a carte blanch stimulus payment to all Americans.
