Fr Ritter of Covenant House was the first to shatter my illusions. The dominoes quickly fell after that. Fr Corapi was a shock but Fr Rutler is the worst so far. I don't know what to say.
Yeah it was a total shock. I felt the ground shift beneath my feet more than a little at the news. I have had a very,very high opinion of him. There is nothing wrong with having a high opinion of someone I think. That is one of the reasons why the Church places saints in front of us as an example. It is a killer when they fall. A killer. But at the end of the day it is Jesus we follow. Jesus at least will never fail us.

Good news for Trump Supreme Court case, Justice Alitio moves up argument for Pennsylvania voting lawsuit; Makes it possible for Trump to meet state's "safe harbor" deadline Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has asked Pennsylvania officials to file response briefs in a so-far-failed attempt by GOP Congressman Mike Kelly to flip Pennsylvania’s 2020 election results. Kelly, a loyal and longtime supporter of President Donald Trump, is asking the nation’s highest court to take up the same elections case the Pennsylvania Supreme Court summarily ejected with prejudice last weekend. Kelly’s 50-page application and 213-page appendix was submitted to Alito because he is the justice who oversees incoming matters from the Third Circuit, which includes Pennsylvania. Though Alito originally called for response arguments from the Commonwealth to be filed by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9th, the case docket was changed Sunday morning to move that deadline up to Tuesday, Dec. 8, by 9 a.m. The change is critical. Pennsylvania’s members of the electoral college are due to meet at noon on Dec. 14th in Harrisburg to cast their votes for president. As Law&Crime has previously reported, and as Kelly’s arguments point out, federal election law sets a so-called “safe harbor” deadline which requires controversies “concerning the appointment of all or any of the electors . . . by judicial or other methods or procedures” to be determined “at least six days before the time fixed for the meeting of the electors.” Alito’s original Dec. 9th deadline failed to take that window into account. His new deadline does. The thrust of Kelly’s arguments is that a 2019 state election reform statute known as Act 77 violated both the state constitution and the federal constitution. Act 77, which predates the coronavirus pandemic, was described when signed into law as a “bipartisan compromise.” It created a so-called “no-excuse mail-in” voting regime that Kelly claims violates a provision of the state constitution. Kelly interprets the constitution as allowing only limited circumstances which qualify a voter to cast a ballot by mail. In other words, in Kelly’s view, people must vote in person unless they can take advantage of only a few, narrow excuses contained within the state constitution and, therefore, Act 77 and related election access laws must be struck down as invalid. Because the 2020 election was conducted under Act 77, its results are questionable, he claims. In strict theory, the U.S. Supreme Court has no jurisdiction to settle Pennsylvania constitutional issues, such as whether the state statute at question (Act 77) violates the state constitution. Generally, such matters are the exclusive realm of a state supreme court. But there are exceptions to that general concept, Kelly argues, including here. Because the state is acting under a “direct grant of authority” from the U.S. Constitution to manage federal elections, the U.S. Supreme Court can become involved, he argues, and can determine whether the Pennsylvania statutory and constitutional regime of laws violates the U.S. Constitution. Kelly invites the U.S. Supreme Court to conclude as such and, perhaps more dubiously, that the state court’s way of rubbishing the election violates his rights to petition the government and to receive due process under the First and Fourteenth Amendments thereto... Wow that is sad. That poor woman. It should be easy enough for the police to confirm at least some of the allegations with internet activity logs as well from the provider of this service even if they have been removed from the computer in his office. Fr Ripperger warned us to learn to practice detachment. I think it is because both the old and new ways are being exposed for all to see. The problems in the church go back much further than Vatican II and the two sides are at war with each other. That much is plain. Church Militant right now is facing a huge backlash on social media from the Trad contingent here in the US for it's coverage of the SSPX as well.
These rallies are a message. One being sent loud and clear. The people are not simply going to stand down and watch the presidency being stolen and everything going back to business as usual for the globalist bunch here in America. Trumps spoke at the UN a few months ago. His speech was only 7 mins or so but he says a lot. Start it at 19:45 if it does not run automatically from that point.
It's one heck of a blow to the naysayers. I knew if they could get their hands on some of that equipment before it was wiped they would be able to replicate the formula that has been being used. Now why would any piece of election software allow votes to be counted as a fraction of a whole number if the software was not created from the beginning with cheating in mind.
...I keep praying. I've never felt so unsettled. I think part of it is I feel helpless to do anything. Alas, I pray...and must trust in that.
Tuesday is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the United States. It is also an important date in President Trump's legal battle for the election. After reading this article from RedState blog, I felt more hope than I have recently. It is by a former US Attorney. He attempts to explain why Justice Alito today suddenly changed a deadline in the Pennsylvania voting case from this Wednesday to Tuesday morning, 9 am (a very unusual time of day, as it happens). Pennsylvania is key to Trump's chances: "...What I suspect has prompted the change in the response deadline is that one or more other Justices sees a point of significance with regard to what day the Court acts, whether that be on December 8 or December 9. "At this point I have not had a chance to look closely enough at the interplay of the dates with the legal issues involving the election in general and the allegations of the Kelly complaint in particular. But I’m confident that the issue of what remedy might be afforded to a prevailing plaintiff in a post-election challenge to the validity of ballots cast in Pennsylvania has been studied in one or more Justices’ Chambers. "Justice Alito was certainly concerned about available “remedies” when he ordered that any “late” mailed-in ballots be segregated from other ballots while the Court considers the Penn. Supreme Court’s extension of the statutory deadline for receipt of mailed-in ballots. "The alteration of the response date seems to suggest that the Court will take whatever action it is going to take on December 8, and doing so on December 8 is important to the determination of the matter by at least one Justice. "Accommodating that Justice’s anticipated vote would explain why Justice Alito felt compelled to make the change on a Sunday morning. "Who that Justice could be or why resolving the case on December 8 might be important remain mysteries to me." My belief is that the Rosaries so many Catholics have been praying are having an impact. This may be the legal ruling that turns the tide.
And don't forget to offer one hour of prayer and petition to our Blessed Mother from 12 noon until one o'clock, on 8th December. Petition our Lady in honour of her Immaculate Conception to grant success to those who seek to reveal the truth about the actual voting outcome on election day in USA. Blessed Mother promises to answer prayers in a miraculous way on that day....8th December.
